The VR gear suddenly lifted off Zack's head as he saw the room of his mansion. He slowly stood up and stretched his body to find that he still felt comfortable.
He then looked at Emma stepping out of her gaming pod as both of them sighed. Zack could already imagine Evangeline's cold CEO face in front of him and honestly, he didn't want to et her when she was in that form.
"So, any sugary words you might wanna learn before facing her?" She asked while tying her hair in a ponytail and straightening her clothes a little.
After checking the ti, they had spent only three days inside the ga. The quest they had received from Jonathan now had 17 days remaining until it was over and the duo had no clue how they were going to clear it.
Currently, they had a bigger hurdle called Evangeline Hayes in front of them which was going to be a tough thing since the CEO could be a scary person when she was angry.
"Let's just say that we were attacked by an unknown organization above our level. I don't think anyone has a record of how we died."

Before she could complete her sentence, Zack imdiately closed her mouth while wiping beads of sweat off his forehead.
"Don't say anything until we et Evangeline. In fact, don't talk think anything at all." He ordered before going outside the room with the girl in tow.
"I wonder why you always stop ," Emma muttered as she heard Zack sigh.
The boy didn't turn back and instead started looking for Mia.
In his previous life, if soone had told him that WolfHeart, was prone to raising flags, he wouldn't have believed them. After all, she was the guild leader of one of the most famous platinum guilds.
Yet here he was with her raising flags. Zack, however, had to admit that Emma was fun to be around.
After looking around the mansion for five minutes, he decided to send Mia and ssage to see whether she was even at ho.
[ I am currently at grocery shopping and btw, Eva is 'looking' for you and Emma… ] Mia's reply sent shudders behind Zack's back as he showed the ssage to Emma.
She imdiately opened Doogle and was about to search sothing up before closing it.
"You got sothing from Oracroft?" Emma asked while raising her eyebrows as Zack shook his head.
"Let's just go ahead with the plan I created." He sighed before moving towards his room and looking at Emma with a weird look. "Unless you want to shower with , you can go back to your room."
"Looks like soone wants this beauty to be in their shower," Emma replied with a wink and before Zack could think of a coback, she turned her back on him and walked off to her own room.
Zack had to admit that he had been stumped for a few seconds though he could have probably co up with a better coback.
'I should try to look nicely dressed.' After picking fresh clothes, Zack went on to take a shower and used the instant dryer.
He and Emma then t outside the house before they went ahead and reached Evangeline's mansion.
The guards led them in and made them move towards a room on the second floor. After pushing the duo inside the room, they closed the door and stood outside.
Inside the room, Evangeline Hayes was sitting on a chair while looking at the news in front of her screen.
"A leaked footage of the forrly number one and number 11th player's death had been released! People are trying to judge whether the video is real or fake. Watch a full analysis at 5 pm."
After hearing the words of the newswoman, Eva turned her watch off and turned to look at Zack and Emma with a smile on her face.
"Co sit here," She pointed towards the two chairs in front of her. "We have a lot of things to discuss."
Eva's smile was similar to that of a serial killer about to kill his victim. Zack and Emma sighed internally as they went ahead and sat on the chairs.
"Now, tell , did you guys kill yourself when spiders were about to overrun you?" Eva asked with a serious look as Zack nodded.
"We could have either done that or would have been chewed to death." He replied honestly before looking at Emma for so support.
"We had not expected the spiders to be this fearso but I guess our judgnts were wrong. And that was why we were forced to kill ourselves." The pink-haired woman finished as Eva started rubbing her forehead.
"You guys should be thankful that I don't care much about money or rankings otherwise I would have turned you both into slaves. Anyways, Ray and I still believe that you can climb up again so we are not pulling our investnt."
Eva's statent made Zack feel as though sothing was wrong. No way the cold and angry CEO he knew from his last life was going to be like this.
,m 'Well, many things are already different so why can't people be different? Plus, I never really knew her like the way I do know.' He sighed internally before looking at Emma.
He wanted to tell Eva that he had found Lisa but Zack wasn't ready to reveal his plan in front of the pink-haired woman just then.
However, Eva seed to know that Zack was trying to tell sothing to her as the next mont, she dismissed Emma.
"Emma, can you go ahead and check on Mia while I ask this dumbass to tell everything in detail?" Eva asked as Emma nodded and stood up.
"Sure, I will go check on her."
The red-head CEO then shared the location with her as Emma left the room.
"Now talk, dumbass." Eva glared at Zack who wanted to refute back but decided against it.
"Due to what happened, I managed to find Lisa and maybe Ken too. If it's Ken, they have a weird relationship in the ga." The black-haired boy then told her everything starting from him and Emma entering the dungeon to the mont they logged out.
"So you are currently on auto fight and farming exp?" Like the businesswoman she was, Eva imdiately took notice of the auto-fighting option.
It seed to goof of a thing without a nerf or anything like that.
"Don't worry, it will get nerfed soon," As though he had read her thoughts, Zack went ahead to answer her unasked question too. "But till then, I and Emma can farm large amounts of exp."
"Nice. Now that's sothing I will have to convince Ray to not pull out." Eva replied with a smile which made Zack raise his eyebrows.
"Didn't you just say that he was not pulling out?"
"I said that to make Emma have faith," She replied while staring at his face. "People need hope and faith."
"I highly doubt she needs that with the amount of money she has."
"Just wait for so ti, Zack. Money will beco more valuable than you think." She replied before standing up and sighing. "You are dismissed now."
Zack stood up and left the room with a grave expression. After all, he too knew what Evangeline was talking about.
