For the first ti since he ca back in the past, Zack had no idea what the event was about. All he could tell was that it had sothing to do with mazes.
'So, any idea what will happen in this one?" Emma asked while looking expectantly at Zack.
"This ti, I have no idea what we have to do here," Zack replied honestly. "The only thing I am sure of is that the challenge is not going to be easy considering that it's sothing that doesn't include fighting."
"Then we will not have your usual insight on this event?" Emma asked curiously as Zack nodded.
"Well, it will be a fun thing to see how we do in the event."
After that, the duo logged out and appeared inside the real world.
They had gotten accustod to playing for long hours with the help of gaming pods. However, playing with the VR glasses was sothing completely different.
"Let's order so food. After all that happened, I am starving." Mia suggested and a few minutes later, their food arrived beside them.
While eating, Zack kept thinking of the scenes that had taken place in front of him.
'Was that sothing that happened in the past or sothing?' No matter how much he thought about the scenes, his mind would keep thinking that whatever he saw was an event of the past.
"Zack, why do you look as though you just saw a ghost?" Emma asked while eating her dessert.
"No, I am just thinking about what happened. Don't be too bothered by it." Zack then carelessly waved his hand before he rembered about the scene in Eva's office.
'Her lips were soft…' No matter what anyone said, Zack had to admit that the kiss was extrely good.
A few minutes after they had finished their food, Evangeline personally appeared in the room. Her expression was extrely calm though she avoided looking at Zack.
"You guys will be staying here for a few days. In the anti, I will get the sa explosion repelling material installed all around Doogle Mansions. Till then, you will have to make due by playing with the VR glasses."
Zack and Emma nodded as Mia raised her right hand.
"Can I get a pair too?" She asked before looking at Zack. "I don't think I would be able to study after what just happened."
"Sure, I will get you a pair too but for now, all of you should sleep." Eva could see that all three of them looked tired. She also realized that she probably looked like them so she should take a rest too. "Go to the 50th floor."
After saying that, Eva left the room to go to her office. There, she would work on a few more things and pull an all-nighter.
The trio on the other hand moved towards the elevator and moved to the 50th floor.
'So this is where most of the employees sleep if they are too tired to go back to their ho.'
The 50th floor only consisted of beds and Zack could already see a few workers sleeping on the beds.
All three of them took beds away in a corner before dozing off.
That night, Zack had a dreamless sleep.

"So, they got an announcer for the event," Emma muttered in an interested tone as she and Zack were currently at the avenue of the event.
Every single player on the eastern continent who allied with the light side could participate in the competition.
Currently, millions of players were gathered in a large hall while a man dressed in a black suit looked at them from an overhead stage.
"Ladies and Gentlen, my na I Johnny and I will be your host for the events," The man's voice echoed around the entire hall. "And just so you know, I am a player too."
After hearing his words, the crowd of players started cheering. It was the first major server-wide event that had been hosted by Hikari.
All the players were excited to see what the ga developers could have co up with to make the contest fun.
"The first round is called honeycomb maze," A small screen appeared in front of the players. "Wherein ten randomly selected players will be dropped off in a honeycomb-shaped maze while being chased by 3 hunters."
Suddenly, the group saw ten people bring teleported to the entrance of a very large honeycomb-shaped maze.
"The 3 hunters would be players as well. The goal of the ga is simple, the player that reaches the middle advances, and multiple players can advance in the sa round.
However, if the hunters catch you, you will be disqualified. As for how the hunters can pass, they just have to catch three people. You can watch the screen for a demo."
All the players glanced down at the screen to see the ten beings entering the maze.
As soon as they stepped inside, the maze seed to rotate and all of them were split apart.
Above their heads, a twenty minutes tir started ticking.
"There is also a ti limit. Those players who fail to reach the center under the given ti limit will be disqualified. The hunters who can't capture 3 people before the ti will also be disqualified.
Rember, anything is fair inside the maze but you can't kill or seriously damage anyone. All of your weapons and skills will be locked too."
Suddenly, nurous pillars of light started to appear around the hall. Players started vanishing alongside the pillars as Johnny smiled at them from above.
"A hundred maze rounds will go on at once and a team will moderate each round to ensure no one cheats."
As his voice rang around, Zack realized that soone like him and Emma could be targeted by both the players and hunters combined.
After all, capturing too many top players would be honorable and shaming for Zack and Emma.
"Now, rember to enjoy your playing ti. The real fun begins now. Good luck players!"
