Nolan’s heart was pounding wildly. Trembling, he stubbornly scanned through the entire docunt Han Wang had sent him.

After finishing, only one thought remained in his mind...

It’s over. This ti, it’s really over.

He’s about to beco infamous nationwide!

The kind that no amount of PR can wash clean.

As this thought erged, he felt as though he had plunged into an ice cave, like soone had poured a bucket of cold water over him, chilling him from head to toe.

Fear and rage clashed violently in his heart. He hadn’t expected Han Wang’s capabilities to be this overpowering. In just a few short hours, she’d managed to uncover his financial transactions with the dia to fabricate a devoted persona, the deliberate staging of people recording the scene of him being beaten by Han Wang, as well as the hefty bribes he’d given the woman who’d been with him that night to co forward with false testimony.

The events had escalated far beyond his control. Nolan didn’t even have ti to be angry at that damn woman for secretly recording him.

Now, drenched in sweat from his panic, he realized that if he didn’t act quickly to gain control of public opinion, the consequences would be devastating for him.

Pacing back and forth in frustration, Nolan ultimately gritted his teeth and composed a tweet.

[Even if you dislike , you shouldn’t fabricate such lies! I have to admire your skills—you’re even more capable than I imagined.]

On the surface, the tweet seed like a complaint mixed with praise, but it was actually hinting to the public that with Han Wang’s technological expertise, manufacturing false evidence was a simple task for her.

After posting the tweet, Nolan waited eagerly for the netizens to be swayed by his narrative. Yet within re monts, he was bombarded by countless insults.

[Scumbag, do you even go online? Wake up, your fake persona has already collapsed.]

[Stop pretending—you’ve been exposed. They’ve all admitted you paid them off.]

[You owe Xiya an apology! Using won to clean up your image, you don’t deserve to be called a man!]

[Damn, I actually felt sorry for you. You deserve the deepest pits of hell!]

Staring at the flaming abyss that his comnt section had beco, Nolan sat in stunned disbelief.

Frantically refreshing the page, he soon discovered that just five minutes ago, both the paparazzi he’d bribed and the woman had co forward, confessing that they had been paid off by him...

Originally, these people hadn’t wanted to wade into murky waters—after all, admitting they’d accepted money for such dirty work would undoubtedly invite scorn.

But Pei Ya, upon seeing the evidence Han Wang had released, had imdiately leveraged the situation and threatened them. They now had no choice but to cooperate.

Nolan was unaware of these behind-the-scenes machinations. In a fit of rage, he dialed these people’s numbers.

But seemingly out of fear, the calls went unanswered.

The only call that connected was to the woman.

She didn’t dare speak much. Considering Nolan had paid her a generous sum, she offered him a warning out of reluctant kindness: "Nolan, don’t bla . Yes, I took your money, but it’s not enough to buy a way out! You’ve ssed with soone I can’t afford to irritate. You need to tread carefully..."

Nolan frowned. "What do you an? Who’s been in contact with you?"

The woman didn’t dare say she had been threatened with death unless she clarified the truth.

After hesitating awkwardly, she simply said, "I can’t afford to get involved. I’ve already booked a flight out of the country. Don’t contact again—I’m not looking to die."

And with that, she hung up.

Before Nolan had ti to process his shock, the door to his hospital room suddenly swung open.

Thinking it was a nurse from the hospital, Nolan yelled angrily, "Get out! I didn’t say you could co in!"

But as he looked up, he froze in his tracks.

Almost instantly though, he regained his composure, staring coolly at the several tall and well-built n who had suddenly appeared in his hospital room. Agitated, he snapped, "Did my father send you?"

The next second, soone grabbed him by the collar.

Nolan: ?????!
