Yin Tian drove the car, following George’s directions, until they arrived at a street.

"Teacher, this is the Ghost Market,"

George said excitedly, "I don’t know why it’s called Ghost Market, since there are clearly no ghosts here."

"Just like there’s no wife in wife cakes,"

Yin Tian said as he parked the car by the roadside and got out with Murong Liuli.

George, with excitent written all over his face, led the way. "Co on, teacher, let take you to the shop I always visit. Their stuff is both good and cheap!"

Watching George’s excited deanor, Yin Tian shook his head.

He wondered whether bringing George along had been the right decision.

Soon, George brought Yin Tian to a storefront.

Through the huge glass, one could see a dazzling array of items on display.

"Let’s go, teacher!"

George pushed the door and walked right in.

Seeing this, Yin Tian also entered the shop with Murong Liuli.

The shop owner, who had previously been half asleep, imdiately perked up upon seeing George, a look of excitent appearing on his face, "Young Master George, you’ve arrived!"

"Got any new treasures recently? This is my teacher. I want to buy him a welco gift!"

George spoke with a relaxed air.

"Of course, of course!"

The owner nodded repeatedly, "Young Master George, you are in luck. Just yesterday, we received so excellent items!"

The owner went to one side, picked up a porcelain vase, and said, "See this? A genuine Tang Dynasty Celadon Double-Eared Jar. Look at these patterns, at its deep elegance. Placed in a ho, it’s like a family heirloom!"

George took the jar in hand with a discerning look, inspecting it closely, "Not bad, not bad."

Then, he turned to Yin Tian, as if showing off a treasure, "Teacher, what do you think about this jar?"

"I don’t think much of it,"

Yin Tian shook his head directly.

"What’s wrong? Don’t you like it?"

A look of disappointnt appeared on George’s face.

He truly liked that jar.

Yin Tian spoke indifferently, "If it was real, of course it would be quite nice, but a fake, especially one so crudely made, would be an embarrassnt to have at ho."

"What?"

The owner’s voice rose an octave, "Young man, I treated you with great respect because you are Master George’s teacher, but you can’t just slander my rchandise. That’s not acceptable!"

"Using a potassium permanganate solution with a hint of brown sugar, spread over the surface of the entire piece, focusing on the foot ring. Leave it in a cool place for two days, then wipe it off with a dry cloth to achieve the coloring. Such tricks are almost worn out from overuse,"

Yin Tian said calmly, "Such techniques might fool foreigners, but anyone with a slight understanding of antiques would not be deceived by you."

The owner’s face froze for a mont, turning rather unsightly.

"And this,"

Yin Tian picked up a bowl from the shelf, "The ’ox hair’ patterns here are well executed but it’s obvious they were artificially produced. Do you really expect people to believe that genuine ’ox hair’ patterns on porcelain are as regular, orderly, and nearly parallel as these?"

"And this..."

Seeing Yin Tian expose all the ’antiques’ he had painstakingly created, the owner’s face showed a furious expression, "Are you here to cause trouble? Do you know who owns this shop?"

"What? Can’t handle being called out and losing your cool now?"

Yin Tian chuckled, "Over the years, you must have swindled quite a bit of money from George’s hands."

"You motherfucker!"

The owner cursed loudly, ready to get physical.

But just then,

There was a jingle from the bell above the door.

Afterward, soone walked in.

"Geng, how’s business been..."

The person was mid-sentence but stopped abruptly upon seeing the people inside, freezing on the spot.

"Young Master!"

The owner cried out in despair, "We’ve got a troublemaker who insists all our items are fakes. Who does such a thing?"

The visitor raised his hand and slapped the owner across the face.

Smack!

The slap sent the owner stumbling to the ground, "Do you not know yourself that you’re selling fakes? Why are you acting wronged in front of !"

The owner sat there in shock,

Clearly unable to grasp what was happening.

Then, he saw the man he’d called "young master" walk straight up to the one causing trouble. "Mr. Yin, what brings you here?"

The owner’s vision darkened.

The young master actually knew that man!

Yin Tian looked at Yue Tao with a smile, "Is this your shop?"

"Uhm..."

Yue Tao shook his head embarrassedly, chuckling sheepishly, "Since the antiques business in Huaxia has been tough, I thought about expanding our sales channel..."

"Those foreigners are foolish with lots of money, like antiques, and can’t tell the real from the fake. Selling those goods to them seed like a good way to make so pocket money."

"Seems like your business is doing quite well,"

Yin Tian said with a smile while casually reaching for a fan nearby.

Then, Yin Tian paused slightly,

Turned his head, and looked very seriously at the fan.
