While Shuri personally diverted most of Wakanda’s intelligent system’s power to investigate Lin Rui’s background worldwide, Lin Rui, crouched in the restroom, discreetly sent a ssage to the outside world.
Ordinary communication equipnt would certainly be intercepted by Wakanda’s system, but Lin Rui was using a different system, so he had little to worry about.
The ssage Lin Rui sent was directed to SHIELD, and its contents were straightforward: he requested SHIELD’s intervention to extract N’Jadaka from the CIA’s custody.
Lin Rui didn’t go into detail about N’Jadaka’s identity; he simply asked SHIELD to keep a close watch on N’Jadaka and preferably keep him alive. Of course, if N’Jadaka happened to die accidentally, it wouldn’t be a problem either.
As for how SHIELD would react upon receiving Lin Rui’s ssage, Lin Rui couldn’t control that. After all, he was currently in Wakanda, and even if SHIELD were investigating from the outside, they probably wouldn’t discover much. Moreover, if Lin Rui’s plan went smoothly, he would soon bring Rogers and Tony so very good news.
“If the plot unfolds like this… Wakanda might continue to develop peacefully. So, if I were to reveal my identity now and communicate with T’Challa as one of the founders of the Earth Federation, what are the chances he’d agree to bring Wakanda into the world’s view?” Lin Rui contemplated his next actions after sending the ssage. Making Wakanda voluntarily expose itself was one of Lin Rui’s important objectives.
“Or, Wakanda could remain hidden from the outside world but agree to join the Earth Federation and be prepared to fight when necessary.” In addition to revealing Wakanda to the outside world, Lin Rui had another idea in mind.
However, Lin Rui’s plans were contingent on everything unfolding as he envisioned. Even if T’Challa wanted to lead Wakanda out of its long-standing isolation, the opposition from various tribal leaders would hinder this progress.
Bucky’s assistance alone wasn’t enough to make T’Challa unilaterally decide to reveal Wakanda to the world.
“If it doesn’t work out… then I’ll have to resort to so special asures.”
After spending about ten minutes crouched in the restroom, Lin Rui reappeared in the laboratory. By this ti, Shuri’s eyes had changed. Her initial deep-seated suspicion had beco more pronounced. Lin Rui seed to have underestimated Wakanda’s ability to locate individuals.
“Jackson Lin, that’s your real na, right? A genius young man from New York, already hailed by multiple dia outlets and corporations as a rising star in the new century’s science. You’ve been working alongside Tony Stark on various high-tech research projects since your freshman year of high school. Jackson, your real identity doesn’t surprise at all!” When Lin Rui calmly walked up to Shuri, she suddenly spoke at length, and she had indeed uncovered Lin Rui’s true background.

As Shuri spoke, a pale blue holographic projection appeared around her and Lin Rui. Within this holographic area, scenes of Lin Rui’s life and studies in New York were being played.
Although Tony and Rogers had taken many protective asures to ensure that Lin Rui’s life wasn’t disturbed, such as having SHIELD agents guarding his ho and even the entire neighborhood, Shuri had still managed to bypass Tony and SHIELD’s blockades to discover Lin Rui’s “real life” situation.
When Wakanda’s intelligence system finally located Lin Rui’s true identity by scanning his face, Shuri was a bit surprised. However, this surprise had been short-lived. Compared to Lin Rui’s claim of being Bucky’s nephew and the son of a rcenary, this real identity was undoubtedly more acceptable.
Upon hearing Shuri’s words and seeing the continuous playback of his life around him, Lin Rui couldn’t help but express so surprise on his face. However, even if his identity had been exposed, it wouldn’t greatly affect Lin Rui’s upcoming plans. After all, Lin Rui had co with good intentions this ti.

Upon hearing Shuri’s words, Lin Rui beca much more serious. Seeing the change in Lin Rui’s expression, Shuri also grew more serious. Moreover, she had quietly instructed the intelligent system to strip Lin Rui of his permissions, so if Lin Rui had any ill intentions, Shuri would have him apprehended in the next mont.
“Well, since you want to know, I’ll tell you. After all, you’ve already discovered my true identity,” Lin Rui said earnestly, his tone serious, after regarding Shuri solemnly for a few seconds.
“You’ve already found my true identity,” Lin Rui continued. “I must admit that I underestimated Wakanda’s network technology. My na is Jackson Lin, and I’m a student and assistant to Tony Stark. I usually follow Mr. Stark and assist him with scientific experints. Because of the collaboration between Mr. Stark and SHIELD, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in so of SHIELD’s experints, so I’ve learned things that ordinary people wouldn’t know…”
In Shuri’s earnest listening expression, Lin Rui calmly recounted various stories, including his chance eting and acquaintance with Bucky, the super-soldier who had defected from Hydra, and how he had helped Bucky transition into a normal life.
Later, Lin Rui obtained information about Wakanda from within SHIELD, including what the real Wakanda was like.
Naturally, all this intelligence had been obtained from the mouths of Ulysses and N’Jadaka. After all, if Ulysses could collaborate with the CIA, SHIELD would naturally have access to even more information.
Under Lin Rui’s careful arrangent, his and Bucky’s purpose in coming to Wakanda had been transford into simply assisting Wakanda in surviving this potential coup.
