Although this Venom, parasitizing Eddie, might be considered an underachiever within their peculiar community, even underachievers have dreams. Being brought to Earth by the Life Foundation marked the beginning of Venom’s dreams.
If Venom could truly control the Life Foundation’s spacecraft to bring millions of its kin from outer space to Earth, then this underachiever Venom could beco a hero of its kind. Perhaps Venom would “climb the corporate ladder” and reach the pinnacle of its existence on Earth.
However, hopes are one thing, and reality is another. The outco isn’t sothing Venom can predict at this mont. For now, Venom needs to get along with Eddie. Ensuring its own survival is the first step toward achieving anything else.
Yet, Venom’s bright aspirations were not aligned with Eddie’s hopes. Having witnessed the cruel experints of the Life Foundation and Venom’s parasitism on himself, Eddie couldn’t fathom the potential havoc that could be wrought when millions of beings like Venom, currently in hibernation on the Martian side, arrive on Earth.
“No! I won’t help you with this! Not only will I not help you, but I will also stop you! Stop the Life Foundation, stop Carlton Drake!” Eddie firmly expressed his stance after hearing Venom’s words.
“You…,” Faced with Eddie’s determination, Venom found itself without many options.
Subsequently, communication between Eddie and Venom reached a deadlock, with neither willing to yield. Eddie was concerned about the safety of the entire Earth, while Venom was driven by the fate of its entire species.

The sea breeze from below the sea bridge blew over Eddie, causing shivers down his spine. However, the peculiar circumstances he found himself in and the sowhat familiar figure standing before him kept Eddie in an elevated state of excitent.
Being a sowhat renowned journalist, Eddie was well-versed in various superheroes that had gained popularity in recent years.
Although the guy before him appeared sowhat different from previous encounters, Eddie quickly deduced, thanks to his self-introduction, that this sudden appearance was none other than the superhero Phantom Knight, who had been active in New York as part of the League of Defenders.
“Hello, I’m Eddie Brock,” Eddie chanically introduced himself, regaining his composure after the initial shock.
As Eddie introduced himself, Venom, which had previously extended a portion of itself from Eddie’s back, withdrew slightly. At this mont, the massive face floated above Eddie’s head, its two large black eyes fixed intently on Lin Rui, who stood quietly.
Venom sensed a threat emanating from the person across from them, a colossal threat that could lead to its utter demise.
“Yes, I know you. Eddie, you’re quite lucky. You see, the Life Foundation conducted nurous experints, all of which ended in failure. And you’ve already seen the consequences of failure on your friend.” Ignoring Venom’s wariness, Lin Rui continued, addressing Eddie.
Hearing Lin Rui’s words, Eddie’s expression shifted, and he glanced at Venom, still suspended above him. It was only now that Eddie truly regained his composure.
Considering Phantom Knight’s knowledge of the Life Foundation’s actions and everything Eddie had experienced, despite not knowing how he had this information, this situation seed more favorable to Eddie.
“As for you, Venom, what are you thinking now?”

Just as Lin Rui’s gaze shifted from Eddie’s head to address Venom, Venom had instantly retracted entirely into Eddie’s body. Following that, black, viscous fluid began to seep out from various parts of Eddie’s body.
The re glance from Lin Rui had already frightened Venom to the point where it imdiately ard Eddie and fled. Yes, fled. Just now, Lin Rui’s gaze had made it abundantly clear that Venom stood no chance against the person before them.
Though Eddie vehently tried to resist Venom’s attempts to arm him, he was powerless to withstand Venom’s control over his body at this mont. All he could do was watch in astonishnt as Venom swiftly ard him.
In the next mont, to Eddie’s surprise, Venom did not lunge at the Phantom Knight before them but instead leaped into the sea!
“Why so nervous?”
Faced with Venom’s swift arming and escape, Lin Rui spoke softly. Then, a deep azure radiance erupted from Lin Rui, quickly enveloping the entire area.
