Chapter 1148: Shoulder to Shoulder
Approaching the Milano and the Earth Spaceship, Dormammu didn’t imdiately consu the two insignificant entities before him. The Milano’s various evasive maneuvers and the Spaceship’s recent space-tearing escape had piqued Dormammu’s interest.
Though Dormammu was now very close to Earth, he didn’t mind taking a little ti to engage with these two small beings.
“The Ancient One is injured. Even if he manages to suppress his injuries, if he dares to oppose while wounded, I will make him understand that the fa of his title as the Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supre, ends here.” As Dormammu retracted the black mist that had crossed over space earlier and blocked the path in front of the Milano, he gazed at the cosmos and Earth’s position, lost in his thoughts.
In his cross-dinsional ventures, Dormammu’s most feared adversary was the Sorcerer Supre, the Ancient One.
Despite Earth being a planet still in its ordinary developntal stage and not yet part of the Interstellar Great Voyage era, the individuals safeguarding it had always been exceptionally formidable, renowned throughout the universe and even across other dinsions.
Firstly, Earth was one of the Nine Realms, and during the height of Asgard’s power ages ago, Earth received Asgard’s protection. At that ti, Odin’s might was so imnse that he could have conquered the entire Nine Realms.
With Odin’s leadership, along with several hidden figures in history, Asgard gained a significant reputation in the cosmos and various dinsions. Even the Asgardian warriors could receive high praise and treatnt within the central civilization of the universe.
Apart from the mighty Asgard, before the era of the Ancient One, Earth’s Sorcerers boasted a legendary figure, the most potent sorcerer in the sorcerer line – the initial and mighty rlin.
The Sorcerers on Earth had risen and propagated from rlin onwards. They have silently guarded Earth against threats from other dinsions or cosmic anomalies.
Following the passing of rlin the Great Sorcerer, the new Sorcerer Supre, the Ancient One, upheld the prestige of Earth’s Sorcerer Supre. The Ancient One’s limited actions had been swift and forceful, ensuring that the title of Sorcerer Supre continued to shine throughout the cosmos and its myriad dinsions.
Otherwise, Dormammu would have had Kaecilius injure the Ancient One when he accepted Kaecilius’ summons to cross dinsions and devour Earth. This was because Dormammu wasn’t entirely confident in facing the peak power of the Ancient One.
As for Asgard, Odin had grown old. He belonged to the sa era as the Great Sorcerer rlin. Due to the long lifespans of the Asgardian, Odin had lived until now. However, his strength had significantly declined, and Dormammu no longer regarded him as a threat.
Therefore, with Kaecilius’ successful operation and the Ancient One’s injury, Dormammu didn’t mind taking a little extra ti on this journey. Moreover, the individuals within the two small spacecraft in front of him seed unusual to Dormammu. His interest was growing.
Under Dormammu’s gaze, the two spacecraft unable to engage in Warp flight were like caged birds. At any mont, he could crush them. Currently, Dormammu was contemplating whether to crush the silver-red spaceship that had exploded twice near him. It appeared that the spaceship was already close to being scrapped anyway.
With this thought in mind, a tendril of black mist extended from Dormammu’s main form toward the two spacecraft. Regardless of his curiosity, he decided to toy with them first. If he could easily eliminate them, his desire to continue playing would dissipate.
Though the tendril of black mist was just a simple thought for Dormammu, for Star-Lord and his group within the spacecraft, the approaching mist posed an undeniable, lethal threat.
However, realizing that their two spacecraft were unable to escape their situation, they didn’t accelerate to flee as the mist advanced. They continued to drift forward at a “leisurely” pace.
As the mist was about to envelop the two spacecraft, several small figures shot out from within them. These figures were people, each wearing the latest Iron Man suits produced by Stark.
Additionally, several individuals erged from the Milano. Apart from their jet thrusters, the ones from the Milano had no visible defensive equipnt on their bodies. However, they were enveloped by a transparent energy shield, protecting them from the space environnt.
Facing the overwhelming expanse of incoming mist, these individuals erging from the spacecraft seed minuscule. Nevertheless, they had to step forward.
“Jackson! Be careful!” Inside the Earth Spaceship’s cockpit, Peter, who was also in an Iron Man suit, shouted loudly.
Besides Peter, Rogers and Tony’s eyes remained fixed on the outside scene. Although Lin Rui had instructed them to trust him, given the imnse disparity, everyone felt uncertain.
“Jackson, this ti is different from before. Hopefully, you won’t disappoint us all!”

Outside the Milano and the E-Grade Spaceship, Lin Rui’s group had already joined forces with Star-Lord’s team. Among Star-Lord’s group, aside from himself, Gamora and Drax the Destroyer had also co out.
Rocket and Groot were still controlling the spaceship from the Milano. On Earth’s side, apart from Lin Rui, there were three others, all ard in Iron Man suits: Iceman Bobby, Dr. Banner, and Thor.
Lin Rui had already confird with Iceman Bobby that his abilities were still operational in the cosmic environnt. For so reason, Bobby felt that his Level 5 abilities were even more stable in space, and he could tap into greater strength.
Lin Rui was eager to witness the capabilities of a Mutant with a Level 5 mutated power in an elental series.
Naturally, Dr. Banner’s Hulk form had almost limitless strength. However, it remained unknown just how much power Hulk could unleash in this environnt. Lin Rui had coordinated with Jack, ensuring that Jack would work in harmony with Hulk.
As for Thor, being an Asgardian, he could survive in the harsh cosmic environnt even without an Iron Man suit. Joining the battle was his way of contributing to Lin Rui’s cause. Moreover, before Thor had set out, Lin Rui had assigned him a specific task. Now, they only needed to face Dormammu head-on.
“Jackson, who would have thought we’d be fighting side by side so soon! However, this might also be our last battle.” As the mist ahead was about to engulf them, Star-Lord’s voice ca through Lin Rui’s earpiece.
“Don’t worry, this probably won’t be the last. You haven’t seen what Earth is like now!”
