After saying this, Vanessa jumped in front of the woman and stood between and her.

I couldn’t help giving a cough when she said this since the tone of her voice made it very clear what she was offering.
But since she wasn’t planning on giving up, I said, "I’m not soone that stays in one place for long and the things that I do are dangerous. If you want to follow , I can’t promise that you’ll be safe."
"I understand, but I still want to follow you." The woman said with a determined look in her eyes.
Seeing that I wouldn’t be able to convince her, I just said, "Then you can follow for now, but I have the right to send you away if it doesn’t work out."

Vanessa looked at as if she wasn’t sure about this, but I looked at her to show that I knew what I was doing and that I was planning sothing.
