"Chief, are you sure that you want to do this?"

The villagers were naturally confused when I made this proposal, but this was not sothing that I would back down on.

The village had grown since I had taken over as chief.

It had grown to double the size and there were countless more undead that were under our control now. As long as we wanted, it would have been easy for us to sweep through this entire area just with the undead alone.

After all, the undead were hard for the living to deal with.

As long as they couldn’t get to us, the undead would be able to co back endlessly.

There was a limit to how much stamina the living would have and it wasn’t sothing that was endless.

As such, there really was nothing to fear from the living.

But now, I was proposing that we fight those that controlled the undead as well.

What I had proposed was for to lead a group of necromancers out of the wilderness and lead an attack on the Undead Society.

From the stories that I had told them, the necromancers of this village knew about the power that the Undead Society possessed. Though the thing that they cared about the most was the amount of necromancy knowledge that they possessed.

They knew that the Undead Society had been around for a long ti now and possessed a lot of knowledge about necromancy that they wanted.

Still, it wasn’t as if they would risk their lives for this.

Or at least they wouldn’t risk their lives now, they would wait until they were much stronger before doing sothing like this.

I knew that it would seem reckless in their eyes to do sothing like this, but it wasn’t as if I didn’t have a plan. If I didn’t have a plan, then I naturally would have never proposed sothing like this.

"It’s not as if we’re going to attack the main forces of the Undead Society. The place that I’m planning to attack is a small outpost of the Undead Society, so it won’t be as dangerous as you think."

The villagers started to waver a little when they heard this.

After all, they were being tempted by the possibility of new necromancy knowledge.

Seeing this, I continued by saying, "This is an outpost where they exchange different things between different mbers. As such, there should be a storage space there that has plenty of what we want."

Their eyes started to light up when they heard this.

After all, what I had said really was tempting to them.

Still, they couldn’t help but hesitate since the other side was a necromancer union that had existed for many centuries now.

Seeing this, I said, "I’ll be coming along and I’ll be bringing Draco along. We’ll finally be able to see him in action."

That was the straw that broke the cal’s back.

The mont that they heard this, they imdiately agreed to go along with .

After all, this was their chance to see Draco in action.

Draco was the Bone Dragon that I had raised with their help, but since it was too big to bring out on raids on the surrounding villages, no one had ever actually seen Draco in action.

For these villagers that were obsessed with necromancy, it was only natural that they would want a chance to see a Bone Dragon in action with their own eyes. At the sa ti, they knew that it was different since a Bone Dragon was being involved.

A Bone Dragon was anything but weak after all.

With Draco going, it was much safer to deal with this Undead Society outpost.

I knew this as well, which was why I proposed this in the first place.

Thanks to the report that I received, I already knew what kind of defenses would be waiting for us if we were to attack that place. So even if I didn’t bring in Draco, I knew that it would be safe for us to attack this place.

The act of bringing in Draco was more of a demonstration rather than anything else.

As for who I received this information from...

It was Rothchild.

Since he was dealing with the underground world, it was only natural that he would co in contact with the Undead Society like this. As such, it was easy for him to find the information about this outpost.

Once he received this information, the first thing that he did was send it in my direction.

I knew exactly what he wanted to do by getting this information to , but there was a part of that hesitated when I received this. By doing this, we would be exposing this village to the Undead Society.

They would know that there was another group of necromancers out there.

For the strongest group of necromancers out there, they naturally wouldn’t tolerate sothing like this. There was a reason why they had beco the strongest group of necromancers in the first place.

It wasn’t by allowing competition like this.

Those that tried to compete would all be crushed and turned into undead by the Undead Society.

Still, this was a good chance for to take a small bit of revenge on them.

That was most likely what Rothchild thought as well when he sent this information to .

"I need to take the first step anyway, so I might as well do it while taking a bit of revenge."

It was impossible for us to avoid the Undead Society, especially after all that I had done to them before. Even before taking revenge, the key thing was taking what they had for ourselves.

We had to reach the peak of the necromancer world.

Since all of the villagers were motivated, there was nothing left for to say.

The only thing that I had to do now was pick the ones that would co with .

The way that they looked at ...

"Village chief, pick !"

They didn’t say this out loud, but the looks on their faces made it very clear what they were thinking.
