"Now where should I go?"
After I finished gathering the goliath bones, there was no need for to stay here any longer.
At the sa ti, since we had already decided on splitting our roles, it was best for to leave this place as soon as possible.
I didn’t want to cause trouble for the hero of the wilderness by staying here longer than was needed as the villain.
There was no doubt that the goliaths wouldn’t just completely abandon this village. It was only a matter of ti before they ca back to gather more stuff and perhaps even turn this place into so kind of shelter.
It was the perfect place to do sothing like that since it was a hidden place under the ground.
If anything happened to the town, this could be where they evacuated the people.
The only reason that they hadn’t been back so far was because Conan had been taking care of it. He made sure that the goliaths were busy with fitting into the town, so they didn’t have ti to co back yet.
But sothing like that would only distract them for so long.
It was only a matter of ti before they ca back to this village, so I should leave as soon as possible.
The thing was that I didn’t really have a place to go in this wilderness.
"Based on what I rember, there are so places that I could hide out in and slowly build up my power. It’s just that there’s no point in going to those places since the developnt potential of those places are really low." I said with a sigh to myself.
It seed like there really wasn’t a good place for to go.
The only choice was to wander around and see if I could find a good place to settle down in.
"Is this how it feels to be holess?" I couldn’t help saying with a faint smile.
If Conan had been near, he definitely would have said that I had a terrifying smile.
But since he wasn’t here, it did feel a bit lonely.
"Crack!"
"Awoo!"
I was pulled out of these thoughts by the sounds of fighting that ca from the distance.
Since I had co out from under the ground and was back in the wilderness, it was only natural that I would encounter sothing like this. It was just that I didn’t expect it to happen so soon.
After thinking about it, I thought to myself, "It would be a good chance to get so fresh bodies."
There wasn’t a single mont where I thought about helping the people that were involved in the fight. After all, this place was different from the rest of the world, this place was the wilderness.
In this place, the only law was the law of the jungle.
People only cared about themselves and didn’t recklessly get involved with others.
After all, there was no telling when you would be stabbed in the back just for helping soone.
But when I went over, I was surprised to see who was fighting.
Or rather, I was surprised by what was fighting.
At the center of the fight were a group of young people, but they weren’t the ones that were fighting.
The ones that were fighting were a group of skeletons and so wolves that had surrounded this group.
I had co close enough that I was able to sense the mana fluctuations that ca from the youths in the center, so I could tell that they were the ones that were controlling the skeletons.
That ant that this was a group of necromancers.
"It really is a small world." I couldn’t help thinking as I looked at these necromancers, but I didn’t feel anything positive towards them.
After all, it wasn’t as if I had a good relationship with necromancers in the first place.
I already knew that there were necromancers that were in this wilderness, it was just that I didn’t expect to run into them like this.
But after thinking about it, I summoned a group of skeletons around .
If there are necromancers, that ans that they’ve found a place where necromancers could live.
If that was the case...
"It would only be right if I liberated those places from their hands, right? After all, it would be a sha to leave that kind of place in the hands of the Undead Society." A smile appeared on my face as I said this.
After coming to this decision, I waited a bit longer as I sent my skeletons around this group that was being attacked.
At the sa ti, I waited until they were in a position where it was life and death before making my move.
After all, it would be easier for them to feel gratitude if I waited until the last second.
Once they were in this position, my skeletons imdiately went forward to take care of the wolves that had surrounded them.
Unlike their skeletons, mine were far more powerful since they had my powerful mana flowing through them.
When these skeletons engaged the wolves, it only took a single slash of their bone swords to cut the wolves in half.
"What powerful skeletons!"
Since they were necromancers, it was only natural that they recognized the power that my skeletons possessed.
It would be a lie to say that I didn’t feel a bit of pride when I heard them admiring my skeletons.
After the skeletons took care of all of the wolves, the young necromancers called back their skeletons as they watched to see what my skeletons would do.
However, when they saw that my skeletons didn’t do anything...
"Thank you for saving us!"
One of them suddenly shouted out loud before the rest of them said the sa thing.
With the way that they said it, it was as if they still believed in the inherent good of people...
I shook my head seeing this, but I still went out to et them.
