The robot soon left, rolling down the hall and disappearing around a corner.

Zain stood there, ready to explore, but before he could take another step, soone appeared.

It was Neuro, the top AA-rank hero Blazren had ntioned.

Right behind him walked Skybrand, her eyes bright and watchful.

Neuro stopped in front of Zain.

His eyes scanned him calmly.

"Welco, Heavenly Demon. This is your first ti here, right?"

Zain nodded once.

"Yeah, it is. The bot told about the rules and the facilities here."

Neuro’s expression didn’t change.

"Good. Hope you can rise to be a good hero."

Zain smirked and nodded.

"Thanks for that."

Neuro’s eyes didn’t blink.

"You’re welco."

Zain turned and walked away, heading toward the mission board.

His steps were steady, his mind already focused on the next challenge.

Skybrand watched him go, her eyes narrowed.

She turned to Neuro.

"Neuro, is his hero na really Heavenly Demon?"

Neuro nodded, his face still calm.

"Yes, that’s his na."

Skybrand frowned, her fingers tapping on her sword’s hilt.

"That na... it’s the sa as that Heavenly Demon Sect that recently appeared."

Neuro kept his eyes on Zain’s back.

"I know. I already asked him when we t at the branch."

Skybrand raised an eyebrow.

"And?"

Neuro’s voice was quiet.

"He said he wasn’t from there. Even seed angry that his na is the sa."

Skybrand’s eyes widened a bit.

"Is that so?"

Neuro’s fingers twitched slightly.

"But still, I think he must have so connection to them."

Skybrand’s wings flexed slightly as she looked at Neuro.

"Should I follow him? From the sky, maybe? See what his real identity is?"

Neuro nodded slowly.

"Yes. Keep an eye on him."

Skybrand nodded back.

"Alright, Neuro. I’ll do it."

Neuro’s eyes didn’t leave Zain’s path.

"Heavenly Demon. Let’s see if you’re really a hero or not."

Skybrand’s eyes locked on Zain.

"Ti to find out."

---

Zain walked into the mission room.

He didn’t feel like wasting ti looking at every mission on the screen.

He walked straight to the robot at the front desk.

The robot’s eyes glowed.

"Welco, Hero Heavenly Demon. How can I assist you today?"

Zain folded his arms. "Just give a mission."

The robot paused. "What kind of mission do you want?"

Zain leaned forward, a smirk on his face. "Hunting. I want a hunting mission."

The robot’s head tilted. "There are quite a lot of hunting missions available."

"What kind of hunting mission are you looking for?"

Zain cracked his knuckles. "Where there are a lot of strong enemies."

The robot’s eyes blinked. "Understood. Let check."

It paused for a second, then continued.

"There is one monster that has been causing headaches in BF-4."

Zain’s eyes glowed. "Interesting. Tell more."

The robot continued. "This monster is classified as AA-rank. Its na is Sporelord."

"It is a spawner-type monster that can create many A-rank monsters and even so AA-rank monsters."

Zain raised an eyebrow. "A spawner-type monster, huh? Sounds like fun."

The robot’s voice was steady. "Yes. That is why it is so troubleso."

"It keeps increasing its army, making it hard for heroes to clear the area."

Zain leaned closer. "So, what do I have to do to finish the mission?"

The robot’s screen blinked. "Your objective is to bring back the giant eye of Sporelord."

"Only then will the mission be considered complete."

Zain smirked. "Got it. I’ll handle it."

The robot’s screen flashed.

"Mission accepted. Good luck, Hero Heavenly Demon."

Zain turned and started walking away, muttering sothing.

"Luck has nothing to do with it."

The robot’s voice followed him.

"Be cautious. This monster is highly dangerous. Many heroes have failed."

Zain laughed. "Then it’s a good challenge for ."

As he walked down the hall, he felt his [Heavenly Demon Ether] simring in his veins.

The thought of facing so many enemies excited him.

"Spawner-type monster, huh?"

"That ans I’ll be fighting waves of A-rank and AA-rank enemies. Just the way I like it."

Zain left the AA-rank lounge and headed to the teleportation platform.

Skybrand stood near the entrance, her arms crossed and her eyes narrowed.

"A new AA-rank hero taking on the Sporelord mission?"

"Is he brave or just stupid?"

Skybrand tilted her head, watching Zain.

"Or maybe he has sothing that makes him able to defeat it..."

"Like the Heavenly Demon Sect."

She clenched her fists lightly.

"Let’s just see what you do, Heavenly Demon."

"Just hope you don’t have any connection to that sect. If you do, you’re done."

Zain vanished as the teleportation pad activated, his body dissolving into a beam of light.

Skybrand waited for a mont before using the teleportation pad too.

Zain landed in BF-4.

The ground was cracked, blackened by the Sporelord’s influence.

He looked at the map on his wrist, his finger tracing the path to the target.

"Right," he said. "Ti to hunt."

Skybrand also arrived at BF-4 and activated [Skybrand Shift].

Her wings grew from her back, spreading wide.

She shot into the sky, locking her eyes on Zain.

Zain started walking through the dead forest, each step deliberate.

Skybrand hovered high above, her wings steady in the wind.

She watched Zain with a keen eye.

"He’s moving fast," she said. "Looks like he knows where he’s going."

Zain paused and looked around.

The trees were twisted, the ground covered in patches of green sli.

A low growl echoed in the distance.

"So this is the Sporelord’s territory," he said.

"Looks like a good place to fight."

He clenched his fists, his [Heavenly Demon Ether] burning around him.

"Co out, Sporelord," he called. "I’m ready for you."

Skybrand watched from above.

"He’s calling it out? That’s bold," she said.

"He doesn’t seem afraid at all."

A rustling ca from the bushes.

Zain turned his head sharply, his eyes scanning.

"Good," he said. "The warm-up begins."

A pack of Broodlings crawled out, their bodies dripping with green sli.

Their eyes glowed red as they hissed.

Zain grinned. "Let’s get started."

Skybrand narrowed her eyes, her wings adjusting.

"He’s strong but I’m still not sure. Is he really just a hero?"

She watched as Zain moved, his body flowing like water.

The Broodlings lunged at him, claws raised.

He dodged, his movents precise.

Zain swung his fist, his [Heavenly Demon Ether] crackling.

The nearest Broodling exploded in a burst of black-green fluid.

"One down."

More Broodlings charged, but he was faster.

He weaved through them, his ether leaving trails of smoke.

Skybrand watched every move."He’s... good but I’m not done watching."

She spread her wings wider and climbed higher, her eyes never leaving him.

"Let’s see how far you can go, Heavenly Demon."
