The dark red gigantic heart burst in Iyeta’s palm.
Viscous liquid cascaded through the crevices of her pale fingers, landing on the yellow-sand-covered ground.
Pu!
As the heart exploded, Diaberlic’s body shook violently, another mouthful of fresh blood spewing forth.
For a being like Prince Diaberlic, even having his heart crushed wouldn’t result in instant death; a demon’s life force is far more robust than one might imagine, especially for the Prince who inherited the superior lineage of the Demon King.
But, pain was still pain all the sa.
Yet compared to the physical tornt, the agony from within his soul was far more unbearable for Diaberlic, his face twisting into a grimace, filled with confusion, disbelief, shock, sorrow, and despair.
"Iyeta, you betrayed ..." his voice was filled with hoarseness.
And Iyeta’s response was an even heavier blow to Diaberlic.
All this ti, what he thought was his most loyal subjugate, had long been Qin Chu’s servant.
For the first ti, he understood what it felt like to be in absolute pain, to be utterly alone.
Diaberlic didn’t even have the energy to be angry, only staring blankly at Iyeta as if it was all just an illusion.
He couldn’t describe the emotions in his heart; at this mont, this powerful Demon Prince would rather wish he had never existed in this world than bear the heart-piercing pain.
He had thought that, since Iyeta was under Qin Chu’s control, but having spent many years by his side, there must be so affection, that there would be hesitance and pain in her heart as she acted under Qin Chu’s manipulation against him... But he was disappointed. In Iyeta’s eyes, he could not see such emotions, only a bone-chilling coldness.
A smile played on Iyeta’s lips as her body glided toward where Qin Chu was.
The Master’s task was to make Diaberlic suffer the pain of a broken heart.
Initially, Iyeta had thought the task sowhat challenging, for Diaberlic was strong, and to extract and crush his heart would surely not be an easy task.
Yet she had not anticipated that the Master had already ticulously planned everything, using traps laid by the demons to destroy them all, and the words taught to her had completely earned Diaberlic’s trust.
After that, she continued to stay by Diaberlic’s side, deepening the trust further.
His hatred and defeats made Diaberlic burn with rage, his eyes only seeing Qin Chu as an enemy, with no other demon by his side to warn him.
In such a situation, Iyeta’s betrayal was almost a certainty.
The Master’s foresight was impeccable, crafting such a ticulous plan against a re Diaberlic was truly impressive.
Iyeta’s respect and submission toward this new Master grew, and her loyalty to Qin Chu was beyond question.
At least until soone more powerful, more cunning, more ticulous than Master Qin Chu appeared, Iyeta’s loyalty was unwavering.
Qin Chu himself stood with his mouth slightly agape, looking at the blood-stained Iyeta in his hands, his expression strangely extre.
Good grief.
All he wanted was for Diaberlic to endure the pain of a broken heart.
He had pondered, letting Diaberlic believe that Iyeta was the only demon left by his side, the most loyal to him, then at the last mont have Iyeta betray him. Diaberlic’s heart would certainly be shattered.
But to his surprise, Iyeta literally dug out and crushed Diaberlic’s heart.
This... this...
For a mont, Qin Chu didn’t know what expression he should wear.
Looking at Iyeta beside him, who was tilting her head as if awaiting his praise.
Qin Chu could only helplessly smile and nod, "Hmm, Iyeta, you did well. I am very satisfied."
A wave of joy surged in Iyeta’s heart, sensing she had made a good impression on her new Master, a promising sign.
Her gaze shifted to the distant Diaberlic: "Prince... why such sorrow?"
"Shouldn’t you have expected this situation?"
"When you let go of Helois’s wrist, allowing her to be engulfed by the lava, did you really think we would remain loyal to you?"
"Today’s outco is completely of your own making and cannot be blad on us."
Diaberlic didn’t even bother to retort, rely laughing neurotically: "Iyeta... Helois..."
"Do you really think you’ll have it easy in the future? Don’t forget your identities, you are demons... No matter how much you resemble humans in appearance, that one fact can never change. Will the human Heroes truly accept you?"
"I will be waiting for you in Hell..."
Helois, having finally left Qin Chu’s embrace at so point, looked toward the bloodied Prince with a hint of sorrow and fear in her bright eyes, but the Snow Woman mustered her courage: "Prince..."
"Perhaps, following Mr. Brave might bring us unnecessary tribulations, but I believe that enduring those, even a hundredfold or a thousandfold, would still be better than staying by your side."
Helois’s response silenced Diaberlic.
Qin Chu didn’t plan on giving Diaberlic much ti, not because he was worried about unforeseen complications, or that Diaberlic might suddenly lash out and hurt soone... Diaberlic was already dood; even if left alone, he was certain to die.
But this was a super huge experience pack, after all.
Before Diaberlic’s death, Qin Chu was still ready to devour a bit of Strength.
However, just as Qin Chu was about to lift his leg and step forward, a sudden and inexplicable terror surged into his heart.
An alarm within his soul erupted suddenly.
The Little Tree Seedling inside him also shook violently.
That montary sense of fear made Qin Chu feel as if he were staring death in the face.
His pupils contracted sharply, and in that mont, he displayed a decisiveness that was beyond imagination, having no intention of exploring where that danger ca from, he imdiately uttered a low command, "Catch !"
Almost subconsciously, just as Qin Chu’s voice fell, Helois and Iyeta imdiately grabbed Qin Chu’s clothes. Phil and Antia went straight into Qin Chu’s body.
Thereafter, a Magic Scroll appeared in the palm of his hand.
The next second, with a buzzing sound, the three figures vanished.
In the instant before Qin Chu disappeared, his eyes clearly saw a streak of arc light scream across the sky.
It was like a giant Battle Axe tearing through the canopy of heaven, the entire sky splitting as if it were cloth bifurcated cleanly into two.
Pseudo Absolute Defense shattered on cue.
This power, which was nearly impossible to break, had withstood so many traps and Prohibition attacks but now shattered like a mirror struck by a sledgehamr, turning into countless golden fragnts vanishing into thin air.
The arc light tore through the earth.
Just as the heavens above split into two halves, on the ground below, a humongous Grand Canyon more than a dozen kiloters long ford, its depth unfathomable, like a terrifying Abyss trying to swallow everything.
Fine sands cascaded down on either side of the canyon.
The brutal impact also brought up howling gale winds, filling the sky with sandstorms.
Although Prince was not the direct target, he still couldn’t withstand it at such a close range, his body was instantly sent flying.
Just on the verge of being crushed into fragnts by the shockwave, suddenly, a gigantic palm appeared in mid-air, seizing Prince’s body in its grasp and imdiately flying toward the deepest part of the Demon King Territory.
There lay the Demon King Palace!
Demon King Nage once again left his laboratory.
Today’s Nage seed sowhat different from usual days.
His body rolled with a thick scent of bloodthirstiness, filled with an overbearing madness and arrogance.
Anyone who saw the Demon King at this mont could only think of two words to describe him.
Brutality, strength!
His otherwise handso face bore a sinister smile, his weird gaze looming over the distance, his hand still holding a massive Battle Axe.
The arc light that just split the sky was unleashed by Demon King Nage, and this place was the Demon King Palace, at least several hundred kiloters away from Fla Mountain.
With just that single blow, one could glimpse the tip of the iceberg of Demon King Nage’s monstrous strength.
This was a real Demon King, a true Demon King.
"Hahahaha..."
He let out an arrogant laugh, "Haven’t moved my body like this in a long ti, feels great."
In the sky, the giant palm was already returning Prince.
Seeing the Demon King standing atop the Demon King Palace and the arc light that had just split the sky, an untold number of Demons throughout the Demon King Territory kneeled on the ground, trembling, loudly praising the invincible Demon King.
This strength could truly be described as unrivaled in the world.
However, Demon King Nage paid no attention to the Demons’ worship; he was only looking at Prince Diaberlic’s battered body... or rather, corpse...
The heart had been removed, crushed to pieces.
Because of his bloodline advantages and formidable strength, Diaberlic could survive for a while without dying imdiately, but that didn’t an he could endure his heart being crushed.
Death was inevitable.
But as the soul had not yet departed, Nage clearly saw a shadow moving on the corpse, seemingly trying to escape the body’s restraints and regain freedom.
With a snort, Nage casually waved his hand, slamming the soul back into Diaberlic’s body.
Imdiately after, he carried the body of his eldest son toward the direction of the laboratory.
"Damn it, for this experint, I even sacrificed my own son, my most beloved son," muttered Demon King Nage.
"Are you sure you’re not talking nonsense? You’re telling about love? Do you even know how to write these two words in your mind? What significance does a son have for you?" a sowhat emotionless voice suddenly ca out of his mouth.
"It seems not... but that doesn’t change the reality that I’ve sacrificed even my own son..." After a brief pause, the dispassionate voice seed to regain the Demon King’s deanor, "So..."
"This experint must yield enough results for , or else don’t bla for driving you out of my body and then crushing your soul..."
"Heh... you know full well, without , you can’t do anything. Moreover, we are equally matched; neither can do anything to the other, no matter how much it irks you... Cooperation is our only way out."
