Iyeta had already appeared silently behind Diaberlic.
Her eyelids had dropped, shielding the weird light in her eyes.
Since she needed to show loyalty to her new master, she must perform... Helois had already won the Brave’s affection, and she couldn’t afford to be inferior even to Helois, who was sowhat clumsy.
Iyeta had many things to consider.
The Brave’s status among humans was unquestionable, his strength was absolutely formidable, and his appearance was handso; n like him were sure to be surrounded by beauties.
She was very confident in her own looks and figure, but she and Helois were Demons after all. It wasn’t easy to secure an important place beside the Brave unless sothing could make the Brave take a fresh look at her.
So, even though the task was sowhat dangerous, and the Brave had already said that she could give it up if there was no chance, prioritizing her own life, Iyeta still decided to act.
Of course, now was not the ti.
Seven traps, comparable to Super Order Magic, were detonated simultaneously.
Tens of smaller traps and nurous Prohibitions were also triggered due to Antia and the Fiery Fla Witch’s attacks.
All sorts of chaotic energy exploded at that mont, a wild flux of energy ravaged atop the collapsed mountaintop.
In the sky, flas fell like teors.
Huge ice cones were denser than raindrops.
The raging winds sliced the boulders into dust.
Lightning split like the branches of a tree.
A massive water dragon, with a mournful roar, crashed onto the ground.
An astonishing teor, wrapped in searing flas, traced a striking arc across the sky.
Qin Chu, right at the center of all the traps, rely supported by a golden light of Pseudo Absolute Defense, shivered slightly in his heart as he observed the rampaging powers around him.
Diaberlic’s gift for him was indeed lavish, and if he hadn’t learned about these from Iyeta beforehand and had unwittingly stepped into these traps, it was hard to say what his fate would have been.
Although Qin Chu’s strength had been continuously increasing, there were still powers in this world that could threaten him; he was not invincible yet.
Boom, boom!
An ear-deafening roar.
The rampage of the impacts battered against the Pseudo Absolute Defense, and the golden shield continuously emitted a series of sizzling sounds like tal scraping against tal.
Ripples quickly surfaced, and in so areas, fine cracks could even be glimpsed.
The Demons around could not withstand the force of the traps and Prohibitions they had set off themselves; their massive bodies were blasted away one after the other, and so were even torn into pieces by the storm, leaving no trace of their bones.
Even Iyeta and Diaberlic were forced to keep retreating.
These magic traps were crafted by the demons themselves, who were very aware of their power.
Thus, from start to finish, the Prince and the many demons stood outside of the traps; normally, they would not be affected by the explosive force of the traps.
But... the effect of one trap exploding after another compared to all traps exploding at once was incomparably catastrophic.
Because the surroundings were quite open, the energy from a single trap could completely disperse.
However, at least seven traps, each comparable to a super order magic, along with dozens of slightly less powerful traps exploding simultaneously, ant that even in the open area, the energy had no imdiate outlet and crowded together.
Iyeta had even sneakily mixed in several powerful amplification arrays, elevating the destruction to a new level.
Squeezing, colliding, rging...
The energy, chaotic and powerful, was compressed to the brink, and then suddenly expanded, exploding like a balloon stretched to its limits, sending shockwaves spreading in all directions, grinding everything on the ground to dust.
In an instant, the sky darkened, the ground shook, thick smoke obscured the sun, and the ascending shockwave almost turned into a bizarre colored beam of light, scattering the thick layer of clouds caused by the volcanic eruption.
It was unclear how much ti had passed, but the chaotic energy gradually subsided.
The originally collapsed mountain range was now completely gone, and this vast area was flattened, blending into the surrounding sand.
The Absolute Defense had ultimately held firm, though by the end, the intense friction sound almost ford a continuous line, and the protective shield was on the verge of shattering.
The figures of Phil and Antia floated beside Qin Chu!
After so ti, Diaberlic, looking disheveled, stood up from a cloud of dust; he was extrely unkempt, his mouth and nose filled with dust, coughing violently.
Only Iyeta was still behind him, vigorously patting the Prince’s back, apparently trying to ease his discomfort.
His face was grimy, almost to the point where his expression was unrecognizable, yet one could feel the extre distortion of his facial features.
Such a result was sothing Diaberlic had never anticipated.
In his calculations, Qin Chu would step into the trap, then get caught up in the successive traps in a state of panic, ending up utterly disgraced, and if he was still alive, Diaberlic would have been triumphantly torturing his dignity before killing him.
But who could have imagined, the myriad of powerful traps he had left behind were all turned against him by Qin Chu, and the destructive power of all the magic traps exploding simultaneously was unimaginably exaggerated; even though the demons knew the locations of the traps and stood outside of them, when the chaotic flood of energy swept through, they had no ti to dodge and were instantly engulfed.
Diaberlic even saw with his own eyes at least a dozen of his subordinates instantly turned into dust and bones.
He had no idea how many of his over a hundred elite subordinates had died; it was even possible that nearly all had perished in that recent impact.
Besides Iyeta, not a single subordinate appeared beside him.
Disheveled, mournful, even desperate.
Diaberlic’s body trembled, his gaze becoming sowhat murky, blankly looking around, desperately hoping to see even one subordinate crawling out of the ashy dust ford by the fine sand, to stand by his side and once again call him Prince.
However, his hope turned into disappointnt.
Not one of them could stand up anymore, and he didn’t know whether they had escaped under the recent impact or were already...
He didn’t even dare to imagine.
He knew that he, who had never lost before, had lost for the first ti.
He lost decisively and completely.
Diaberlic’s heart, never before impacted, endured an unprecedented torture. The light in his eyes gradually dimd and beca vacant.
It was over, all over.
So many loyal and powerful subordinates were dead, and the power of his territory weakened instantly.
He was utterly defeated before Mr. Brave, and his reputation had plumted.
Such a state made him a laughing stock among the demons and left him with no right to inherit the throne of the Demon King. His younger brother would definitely not miss this opportunity.
Rather than being mocked and ridiculed by many brothers and stepping towards destruction, it was better to fight a decisive battle here with Mr. Brave. Even if it ant self-destructing his body and soul, he would drag Mr. Brave down with him.
For beings like Diaberlic, powerful yet haughty, who had rarely faced setbacks in their lives, it was very easy to turn to extres.
His eyes beca hotter and crazier.
Yes, he still had one last chance.
To burn his body, to incinerate his soul.
The last attack would release an unprecedented energy, perhaps dragging Mr. Brave down to Hell with him.
If he were to die, at least he would leave a good reputation among the demons.
In a flash, the Prince’s gaze turned to the woman behind him, the only one who had stayed with him until the end, Iyeta.
Ha...
Iyeta was truly loyal to him.
Even though he was down to this point, and he no longer had the ans to control Iyeta, this Blood Elf still stayed by his side.
Though the Prince was a very selfish, self-centered guy, he was deeply moved at this mont.
His tears were about to fall. To have such a loyal subordinate was truly the greatest luck of his life?
Who the hell said that Blood Elves are very selfish? Isn’t this loyalty?
His dirty claws grasped Iyeta’s shoulder, his teary eyes tender: ’Iyeta, I didn’t expect you to be the one by my side at the end.’
"Are you willing to join in a decisive battle against that damned Mr. Brave?" he asked, his voice low and suppressed.
Iyeta took a deep breath, "Prince, I will always follow behind you."
Great!
That sentence made Diaberlic no longer able to hold back. Tears rolled down his dirty cheeks. He took a deep breath to maintain his last shred of dignity, and even a smile appeared on his face. With such a fiercely loyal subordinate, what more could he ask for?
He knew he would die, facing the Fiery Fla Witch and a petite lady whose strength was no less formidable than the Witch’s, as well as the most fearso, Mr. Brave.
But Iyeta gave him infinite courage, and there was no more fear in his heart.
For the pride of being a Prince, for all those who had died under his command...
Prince suddenly let out a roar. A dark fla began to appear over his body; his body and Divine Soul were burning. The aura around him expanded and grew stronger...
With Iyeta’s support, he feared nothing.
His body charged towards Qin Chu, ready to defend his last bit of dignity and honor with his life and soul, Iyeta faithfully following in his wake, accompanying him even in life and death.
But he remained utterly unaware of the increasingly weird look in Iyeta’s eyes behind him, her small hands gently crossing behind her back, her sharp nails’ ends quickly spawning nurous thin threads...
"Qin Chu... hand over your life..."
Hisss!
The ten threads almost all burrowed into the Prince’s back heart.
Only a sound was heard.
A large chunk of solid muscle was ripped from the Prince’s back, even mixed with white, gleaming bones, as Iyeta forcibly extracted a beating heart.
Poised in mid-air, Diaberlic’s body instantly froze, his face twisted in disbelief as his body stiffened like a wooden sculpture, slowly twisting to look behind him.
The still throbbing, dark red heart was clutched in Iyeta’s palm.
"Iyeta, you..."
On Iyeta’s lovely face, there was a gentle yet mocking smile: "Honorable Prince, I am very sorry... Mr. Brave is my new master now."
"This, was just a task from my master!"
The next second...
Crack!
The heart-wrenching pain!
