Since Hannah's arrival as Selene's cellmate, the two of them always went everywhere together because Hannah was afraid to go alone.

Selene herself used the wound on her leg to protect Hannah by keeping the girl nearby to help her walk. She didn't really need Hannah, and could do everything by herself.

Hannah's age, which was still 2 years younger than her, made Selene feel like she couldn't leave her alone. It was like an instinct ca over her, a feeling she hadn't felt since the last ti she was finally caught in prison.

"Selene, when you get out of prison, what do you want to do?" Hannah asked her as she helped Selene comb her long brown hair.

"I don't know. Just getting out of jail seems very unlikely to ," she replied.

Hannah's hand movents stopped while she was still combing Selene's hair. Until now, she had not known that the woman before her was a serial killer who was quite feared in Southern Zondalian.

She might have heard about the Siren of Justice from the Zondalian news. However, her face was never shown to the public at all. So until today, all they knew was that the Siren of Justice had been captured but they never knew her true identity until today.

"What exactly did you do to end up here?" asked Hannah cautiously as she was worried that she might offend Selene.

At that, Selene imdiately looked back and smiled at her. "It's not sothing important. The point is that the cri I committed was so big that I was thrown into this prison for eternity. So your sentence when you asked, what will I do when I get out of here? It sounds impossible."

Hannah fell silent as soon as she heard that. However, Selene imdiately continued her sentence by actually answering the question.

"But, if I were given the chance to live a second life, then I would probably choose to be with soone who would accept . Together in peace," she replied.

She just wanted soone who would accept the scars and scratches she had made. Soone who would not be afraid of her, and would not look at her as a mistake.

"Enough about . What about you? What will you do if you get out of this prison?"

"About that... I don't really know what I want to do. Even if I do get out, everyone will rember in a bad light and my family will have thrown out," Hannah replied.

However, she had said that she wanted to get out of the prison together with Selene. Although she had only been there for a week, being with her was like having a big sister.

She actually wished he had an older sister like Selene. Hearing her words, Selene smiled. But it was a smile that showed pain.

"Don't say things you'll regret one day. Not everyone thinks the sa way," the woman said.

Of course, her answer left Hannah feeling very confused. Why would Selene say that?

However, she did not want to ask further because she did not want to make Selene feel uncomfortable with her questions.

"Oh yeah, where did you get so much candy and chocolate? Did the guards give them to you or other prisoners?" she asked curiously.

Selena chuckled as soon as she heard the question. "There are many things you should know about this prison. However, not everything you can try to do."

She wanted Hannah to keep from doing what the prisoners or the guards said. Whatever reward she would receive, Selene warned Hannah to refuse it or tell her about it.

She nodded in understanding, saying she would tell Selene if soone offered her sothing.

In the middle of their conversation, one of the warders ca in and said that Hannah had been called to the dical room by Doctor Smith because he needed her health information.

"He needs you right now to get your health information."

"Alright, I understand!" replied Hannah as she got off the bed and followed one of the warders who escorted her to the dical room.

As for Selene, her eyes sharpened as soon as she heard that Hannah was needed in the dical room by Doctor Smith. Ever since she was seriously injured, she had felt a great suspicion of the prison doctor.

He seed to be taking a chance on a woman like her. And it was this that made Selene feel worried about Hannah.

Moreover, the innocent girl had left alone, making Selene think sothing was bound to happen. She tried to stay calm and waited in her cell for even 15 minutes to pass.

"If I leave, sothing will definitely happen. However, I can't just go to the dical room to catch up with him," Selene muttered.

She just knew, she could not let this continue and had to do sothing imdiately. Because she was sure sothing must have happened especially since Hannah hadn't returned yet.

She then called one of the prison guards, saying that she wanted to go to the dical room to change her bandages.

"The wound on my thigh hurts a lot. I want to ask for a painkiller and also change this bandage," she replied.

"Are you sure? Don't co out of your cell with sothing you don't really feel!" the warden retorted.

"I an it. Are you saying that you won't let go out to get a painkiller and change this bandage? That's fine, I can tell Chief Rothwell later about your performance," Selene said again as if threatening him.

Knowing that, of course the prison warden was scared and she imdiately let Selene out of her cell room to go to the dical room.

"I can go by myself. There's no need to think that I'm going to escape in this wounded state across the ocean," she said as she walked with her cane to the dical room.

Despite her limp, Selene tried to get there faster.

And once she reached the dical room, she peeked through the crack in the door to find Hannah lying on a dical bed and Doctor Smith trying to remove her clothes.

Having killed 29 people, Selene could tell the difference between soone who was completely unconscious and those who just closed their eyes.

"He must have drugged her."

Smith began to unbutton Hannah's shirt one by one. Hannah looks motionless and still closes her eyes. A grin appeared on the doctor's face.

"Ti to enjoy a little of my hard work in this crazy prison," he said.

BRAK!

The door opened with a bang that made him jump in surprise.

"Over my dead body."
