Chapter 377: Yunxiang Clothing
She t Little Fairy here, and it had been a year since then.
“You can bring it over if you want.” Song Mian poured her a glass of water.
“Forget it. I’ll leave her with Little Lin.” If she — his sister — took Little Fairy away on top of being unable to spend ti with him, she thought it was a bit too cruel. When she ntioned Yun Lin, Yun Xiangxiang put her cup down. “I’ll tell my family that I’ve arrived safely.”
There was a twelve-hour difference between them. As it was nearly midnight where her family was, Yun Xiangxiang only sent them a ssage, as she would only call them later at night.
“Do you need to take a break to cure the jetlag?” Song Mian asked with concern.”
Yun Xiangxiang shook her head. “I want to see Sister Deng Yang.
She had slept soundly on the plane. It was already the first in China now, so she had little ti left before the university reopened. She must go back for that, so she would et up with Deng Yang first before going for the appointnt with Austin and Percy at night to send them the diamond.
“Shall I go with you?” Song Mian asked Yun Xiangxiang.
Yun Xiangxiang was apologetic. “I grab quite a lot of attention right now, and I want to see Sister Deng Yang’s shop...”
The shop was sothing where she was a nominal shareholder. She might not interfere with Deng Yang or ask her how she handled the business, Yun Xiangxiang still had to pay attention to it sotis. She could be excused since she usually wasn’t here, but now that she was, she had to visit Deng Yang, so she would also look at their workshop’s size.
There was no need for further explanation. That place was a public spot, so it would be inappropriate if Song Mian went with her.
“You’re just going to leave alone at ho, my dear?” Song Mian pinched her waist, looking dejected.
Yun Xiangxiang knew he was pretending to be hurt, but she couldn’t get angry at him since she was in the wrong. “Be good. I’ll be back soon.” She held his face and kissed him on the lips.
Yun Xiangxiang ruffled his smooth, lustrous hair. When she tried to calm him down and was t with his gaze, Yun Xiangxiang noticed that she looked like she was patting him like how she would to a dog...
The already disgruntled Song Mian complained even more. “I’m not that easy to coax.”
“What do you want?” Yun Xiangxiang asked guiltily.
“I want to...” With his head tilted, he whispered sothing into her ear with a voice only they could hear.
Yun Xiangxiang beca scarlet at his suggestion. “Don’t even think about it, you pervert!” She pushed him away.
This villain wants to harass !
Song Mian did expand her horizons about a certain field, as she didn’t know a couple could do so many things.
Even though the fourth base hadn’t been breached yet, if her mother would ask whether they did the deed already or not, Yun Xiangxiang thought she couldn’t confidently deny it.
Yun Xiangxiang could feel that her face was scalding, so she quickly changed into another set of apparel before calling He Wei and asking him to pick her up.
Before she left with He Wei, she spoke nothing with Song Mian. Even after getting into the car, she could still feel that her face was blushing.
He Wei knew where Deng Yang’s fashion shop was. It was located in the busier part of New York, where large amounts of people would go around and about.
The shop was around fifty square ters, and Deng Yang called the fashion shop as: Yunxiang Clothing.
The na was based on Mandarin characters, but its English representation was interesting. The logo itself was a combination between the letter C and the shape of a cloud.
Deng Yang asked for her permission, but she thought she shouldn’t have the honor of having a fashion shop nad after her, so she would refuse Deng Yang.
Deng Yang told her she didn’t want anyone to know she was the sole owner of the brand, in case soone would attempt to sabotage her, so she had to display Yun Xiangxiang’s na.
Yun Xiangxiang was a celebrity, after all, so not anyone would dare to make a fuss. Besides, she needed Yun Xiangxiang to help her make this brand famous.
When Yun Xiangxiang thought of the possibility of Deng Yang’s ex-husband sabotaging her, she agreed to Deng Yang’s request, since they were collaborating, and she had Song Mian as a backer. To repay Yun Xiangxiang for her help, Deng Yang gave her a bit more shares.
The shop’s interiors were decked out with mainly rosewood furniture. It had the air of retro-style China, and even the rest area employed the style of China’s tea ceremony.
When Yun Xiangxiang walked in, she was greeted by a young Chinese lady. She looked like she was in her twenties, obviously not recognizing Yun Xiangxiang.
“Are you here for so bespoke pieces, sir, miss?” He Wei and Yun Xiangxiang were welcod politely. “What kind of event will you be attending, sir, miss? Our suits and dresses mainly employ Chinese style...”
As she noticed Yun Xiangxiang and He Wei were also Chinese, she talked with them in Mandarin. The lady spoke with a moderate, comfortable pace.
It wasn’t noisy, nor did it sound desperate. There were a few staff mbers in the shop, and all were wearing a set of clothes with the shop’s logo on them.
They didn’t welco them altogether, as everyone was working on their part. If Yun Xiangxiang went to another staff mber’s side, they would smile politely at her.
The staff mber didn’t take over just because they were in charge of this area. In other words, everyone here was trained by Deng Yang to be familiar with every area.
Yun Xiangxiang took off her sunglasses. “I want to see your boss.”
“Oh my, you’re...” The staff mber recognized Yun Xiangxiang once she took her sunglasses off, and she beca excited. “Please give a mont. I’ll get Sister Yang here.”
Yun Xiangxiang was led to the rest area, while soone served her tea and snacks.
She noticed so people kept on glancing at her. Perhaps they did it out of curiosity, or perhaps they wanted to talk with her.
They were young people who looked like fresh graduates who were in their twenties. Even so, they could still keep themselves in check, not leaving their place of duty just because there were no custors there.
“Fancy seeing you here. I thought you were still in Venice.” Deng Yang made the dress Yun Xiangxiang was wearing in Venice, so of course, she paid attention to Yun Xiangxiang’s every appearance.
“I ca here because I have sothing to do. Since I’m here, I had to visit you.” If Deng Yang knew Yun Xiangxiang didn’t visit her when she was in New York, Deng Yang might complain about her.
“Since you’re here for a few days, do you have so ti?” Deng Yang sat down and brewed so tea for her.
“Do you need for anything, Sister Yang?” She wouldn’t be asking this question otherwise.
“Look around the shop and tell what are we missing?” Instead of answering, Deng Yang drew a circle around the shop.
Yun Xiangxiang looked around as Deng Yang’s finger circled. “I don’t think you lack anything...” She thought everything was okay.
Deng Yang imdiately glared at her. “Look again!”
Yun Xiangxiang obliged, but she still thought everything was fine, so she looked at He Wei imploringly.
He Wei coughed softly. “Billboards,” he answered silently.
Yun Xiangxiang finally realized what they were saying. She looked again and found no billboards. “I thought high-end fashion shops that made custom pieces don’t need billboards...”
She noticed that there were no billboards, but she thought sothing like that shouldn’t appear in front of a fashion shop.
They were going the haute couture path, so they had to be different.
