Chapter 148: Just Want You to be Around
Yun Xiangxiang buried her face into Song Mian’s back. She was worried that she might co across soone familiar. This was where she grew up after all.
She led the way through so shortcuts and arrived at their destination after half an hour.
They were only released by the gate’s guard after Song Mian’s identity of a hoowner was verified.
“How did you get from the airport to my house?” Yun Xiangxiang only rembered to ask him about that then.
“I had my chauffeur pick up,” Song Mian answered.
“What about the driver?”
“It’s the New Year. I had him go back ho.

You asked him to pick you up so early in the morning of New Year’s first day, and then you asked him to go back right after he sent you to my ho. Yun Xiangxiang felt that Song Mian did it on purpose.
“Is it here?” Song Mian stopped at this mont. Yun Xiangxiang gazed at the mansion that towered before her. Having seen the Song Family’s manor before, she saw everything with calmness now.
“En,” Song Mian keyed in the password to unlock the door. He saw Yun Xiangxiang supporting the bicycle, yet she didn’t move.
“Make sothing to eat, and then catch so sleep. I’ll check up on you later. I need to hurry back now.” Yun Xiangxiang mounted the bicycle while she was saying that. “Or else my dad will be worried.”
“Alright, you go back then. I’ll be waiting for you,” Song Mian didn’t persuade her to stay.
Yun Xiangxiang didn’t bring her phone along with her. Her parents would worry if she went out for a long ti.
Since Song Mian was so obedient, Yun Xiangxiang stepped on the brakes of her bicycle before dashing forward to give him a big kiss on his face.
She ran away swiftly like a rabbit before he could react. She rode the bicycle while waving at the guy behind her, “Wait for obediently.”
Yun Xiangxiang rushed back as fast as she could. The round trip took her more than an hour. She didn’t even manage to return the bicycle to Song ng and just parked it at their apartnt’s parking lot and hopped upstairs.
She wanted to book a room for Song Mian to get so sleep in the first place. However, Song Mian wanted to go back to his own ho. Yun Xiangxiang naturally was fine with that.
It wasn’t easy to hail a taxi. Even if they could get a ride to go to Song Mian’s place, she was worried that she would have to wait for a long ti for the return ride.
It was better to ride a bicycle. She could also stay with Song Mian for a while longer like that.
She couldn’t let Song Mian go ho on his own to take a rest and call him to ask for his location after that. She could only torture herself like this.
The door of her house was opened just as she just arrived at it. Yun Xiangxiang unexpectedly faced Yun Zhibin.
“Where have you been today? You were out for so long. Look at you, sweating all over.” Yun Zhibin didn’t suspect that anything was off from her usually obedient daughter.
He only thought that she ran sowhere farther today. However, he couldn’t resist his wife’s nagging and was planning to go out to look for her.
“I jogged to Quanzhou,” Yun Xiangxiang disliked lying.
“Why did you run so far?” Yun Zhibin let his daughter enter. “Go wipe your sweat and have a change of clothes.”
Yun Xiangxiang took the dry towel that Yun Lin handed to her. She replied smartly, “I went to look at the houses.”
“Look at the houses?” Su Xiuling served the cooked dumplings. “Quanzhou’s houses don’t suit us.”
“You don’t have to live in it even if you bought it. You can keep it as an asset,” Yun Xiangxiang knew what Su Xiuling was thinking.
All of her friends were here now. If she moved to Quanzhou, she would worry that she would grow distant with the friends here.
Su Xiuling was a woman who was easily satisfied. She had never asked for riches and luxury. It was fine living the ordinary days.
“Do whatever you want to,” Yun Zhibin felt that her daughter knew the limits of what she should do.
Besides, it was the money made by her own daughter. Buying a house wasn’t an unnecessary expenditure. He didn’t interfere in that matter.
“Thank you dad. But I don’t have that much money now. I will ask for your opinion once I have that money,” Yun Xiangxiang smiled sweetly.
“Hurry up and change your clothes,” Yun Zhibin urged.
Once Yun Xiangxiang changed her clothes and finished having breakfast, Su Xiuling said, “Where are we going today?”
“I made an appointnt with my friends for howork stuff,” Yun Xiangxiang pulled Yun Lin up while she was talking. “I’ll bring Little Lin together with . Dad, Mom, why don’t you guys bring Yun Ting to the zoo?”
Since Yun Xiangxiang said that she would be with her friends and she brought Yun Lin, Yun Zhibin automatically interpreted her ‘friends’ as Song ng or Li Xiangling.
Yun Zhibin felt pleased when he thought that his daughter seized every second of her already little ti to finish her mounting howork without wanting to play.
He unconsciously listened to his daughter’s arrangents, “Okay, we will go to the zoo then.”
“What about their lunch?” They would only co back in the afternoon if they went to the zoo. Su Xiuling’s thought about it in detail and rembered her kids’ lunch.
“Mom, we will be having our lunch before going out.” She could let Song Mian sleep a while more like that.
Yun Zhibin took Su Xiuling and Yun Ting to the zoo. They had just left, and Yun Xiangxiang imdiately rummaged through the fridge.
She took out so fresh ingredients and started matching them. Her phone rang after her preparations were done. The caller was Song ng.
“Xiangxiang, where did you and your boyfriend go for your date? We will storm that place now,” Song ng asked aggressively.
“I cannot say that,” Yun Xiangxiang gave a four word answer.
She wouldn’t mind introducing Song Mian to both of them earlier if it was before. However, she thought about the fact that she had to start work on the sixth day!
These were her few hard-earned days of being alone with her boyfriend. Yun Xiangxiang wouldn’t bring the third and fourth wheel along.
“You hiberdating woman. I hate you,” Song ng hung up grumpily.
Yun Xiangxiang did her howork for a while and started making lunch at just the right ti. She stuffed them in the bentos after she made them and looked at Yun Lin with a smile.
“Elder sister, if you don’t bring along, how should I explain if Dad and Mom co back suddenly?” Yun Lin heard the alarm bells ringing in his head when he instantly knew what his sister was thinking.
“You’re so smart. How can you don’t know how to explain?” Yun Xiangxiang raised her eyebrow.
“Elder sister, I can cover this up for you. But Dad will know that sothing is off when you find an excuse to go out again tomorrow.”
Yun Lin’s bright eyes shifted around, “Take along with you. I’ll just quietly do my howork at one side. I won’t disturb the couple’s sweet mont.”
“Cheeky little boy,” Yun Xiangxiang knocked on his head. “Have your lunch, quick. We will go there after you finish your lunch.”
Yun Xiangxiang really had a lot of howork to do. She initially wanted to finish them at an insane speed over these few days. However, she couldn’t leave Song Mian who had co alone.
“I told you that I can only be by your side when it’s ti to do my howork.” Yun Xiangxiang looked at the computer and the stack of textbooks and shrugged at Song Mian.
“I just want you to be around. To be where I can see you as soon as I raise my head; to be able to reach you as soon as I extend my hand,” Song Mian’s srizing purple eyes gazed at her intently.
Even if Yun Xiangxiang didn’t say a word when she accompanied him all day, he would feel happy as long as he could see her once he raised his head and be able to feel that she was by his side.
Since Song Mian had said it himself, Yun Xiangxiang naturally wouldn’t hold back and lowered her head to finish her howork. She actually didn’t even say a word to Song Mian for the whole afternoon.
However, Song Mian would either serve her a cup of warm water or a plate of snacks every hour.
He didn’t affect her at all, yet he made her unable to forget or ignore his existence.
