Two months before entering the academy, Saruto climbed to the top of the tower in the Luwen family mansion, where his father office was located. He stood before him and said firmly, "Father... when I go to the academy, I don’t want anyone to know I’m from the Luwen family. I don’t want to receive any support or protection from the family. I want to be self-reliant, not dependent on my family na."
The king was silent for a few seconds, looking into his son eyes, then smiled slightly and said, "As you wish, my son. The Luwen family has always been self-sufficient, not dependent on its na. But rember, if you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask for my help. You are not alone."
After leaving his father room, Saruto went to the family vast library, as was his custom, to read. Among the thousands of volus, an old, dusty book caught his eye. Its title was: "The Secret Room of the Luwen Family."
He began to turn its pages eagerly. The book spoke of mysterious tests, of the three founders, and of a secret hall beneath the palace, accessible only to mbers of the Luwen family with Luwen blood in their veins.
His eyes sparkled with excitent, and he hurried to his father, book in hand.
Saruto entered his father study, clutching the book. "Father," he asked, "do you know anything about these rooms ntioned in this book?"
His father took the book and sighed. "I see you’ve uncovered a secret yet to be fully revealed... Saruto."
The king then stood and gestured for his son to follow. Together, they descended through a secret passage behind the study until they reached a vast hall beneath the palace. Its walls were covered in ancient carvings, and its stone pillars emanated a mysterious energy.
His father stood before the stone door and said, "This is the Luwen Family Heritage Room, built by the first founder."
As they entered, his father began to explain, "This is the Ti Room. Here, ti flows more slowly than in the outside world, and gravity is stronger. It possesses another power that you will discover in ti."
Herein lies the secret of our family power. There is also the skill of Total Concentration, which can only be practiced in this room. This skill allows you to et the first three founders of the Luwen family.
"The first founder, Jivan."
"The second founder, Nosferatu."
"The third founder, Thalos."
He paused, his voice rising. "You will begin with the third founder. Once you enter his world using the skill of Total Concentration, you will fight him. The purpose of this battle is to test you, after which he will teach you his skills. Once you have mastered them, you will face him."
When you defeat him, you can move on to the second founder. It is done in stages.
"You must defeat one founder to move on to the next." He paused again, his tone firm.
"No one has been able to surpass the second founder for the past thousand years... not even , Saruto. Will you be the one to break this rule? The one to defeat him?"
The king turned to his son to see his expression. Saruto eyes were shining with intense excitent. Saruto answered with a bold smile:
Taking this a direct challenge from his father, Saruto replied, "Yes, I can do it, Father."
The king paused for a mont, then smiled a hidden smile of pride and whispered to himself, "Saruto... I hope you succeed. Don’t disappoint ."
The giant stone door to the Ti Chamber slowly opened as Saruto stood with confident strides, ready to begin his journey, having just completed his training under one of the family’s founders.
