Silverpine City was dusted with a thin layer of snow, but countless lanterns kept the streets warm with a golden glow, even at night.

i Ling led the way, her breath visible in the cold air as Lin Feng and Huang Bei followed closely behind.

mbers of the Chen Clan moved in silence, led by Chen Shi, whose stoic expression remained unchanged as his sharp gaze swept the snow-covered streets.

The streets were still lively despite the late hour.

rchants packed up their stalls beneath wooden awnings, their faces red from the cold, while groups of pedestrians in thick winter robes strolled along the lantern-lit paths.

The houses they passed were a mix of old stone buildings and newer wooden structures, their sloping roofs heavy with snow.

Warm light spilled from narrow windows, casting long shadows on the frosty ground.

As Lin Feng and the others rushed by, conversations fell silent. People paused mid-step, their gazes drawn toward the group.

So wore curious expressions, while others quickly averted their eyes, sensing the tension in the air.

Whispers followed them—low and uncertain—while a few bolder onlookers peered from doorways, their faces half-hidden in shadow.

Yet no one dared to interfere, the oppressive aura surrounding the group enough to keep them at a distance.

Are those guys idiots? Why would they openly try to offend the Chen Clan like this? Do they really have soone backing them?

Could it be the Church of Heaven? But are they really that strong?

Feng had a variety of thoughts running through his head, yet all of them were slowly being pushed away by a single thought that consud his psyche.

It doesn’t matter. All I have to do is make sure that Yan Hao and Yan Li are safe—and make the people who caused this situation pay!

Huang Bei, who was right beside Lin Feng, suddenly looked toward him before speaking.

"Lin Feng, I know you’re stronger than , so just focus on dealing with the strongest person there. I’ll try to handle the rest. If I let you do all the work, this anger in my heart will never disappear!"

Lin Feng looked at Huang Bei and saw his expression. It was clear that he was even more angry and distressed than him.

Huang Bei is injured, so it’s probably not a good idea for him to get into a prolonged fight with anyone. He didn’t get all of his injuries healed like mine by the Heavenly Dao.

Feng looked toward Huang Bei and nodded before replying, "Anyone at the 8th level of Qi Condensation will be my responsibility. And even if soone at the 9th level shows up, I’ll probably be fine, so don’t worry."

Huang Bei nodded as Chen Shi and the rest of the Chen Clan mbers remained silent, focusing on the task at hand.

After a few minutes of running at full speed, i Ling—who already looked exhausted—finally spoke the words everybody wanted to hear.

"We’re here. This is the Silk House Brothel," i Ling said, panting from exhaustion. It was clear that her cultivation base, being only at the third level of Qi Condensation, made it hard for her to keep pace with Lin Feng and the others, despite their efforts to accommodate her.

As Lin Feng and the others arrived at the brothel, an unsettling silence greeted them.

Unlike the rest of Silverpine City, where lanterns still flickered and night markets bustled with activity, this area was eerily deserted.

The air felt heavy, carrying the faint scent of charred wood and sothing tallic—blood, long dried. Snow had gathered in uneven patches, undisturbed by footsteps, as if no one dared to linger here.

The brothel itself stood in ruins. The once-vibrant red lanterns that should have adorned its entrance lay shattered on the ground, their delicate silk torn and stained.

The wooden pillars supporting the front had deep gouges, as if struck by sothing imnse, and the windows were nothing but gaping holes, their fras splintered.

Chen Shi, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke, his voice cold. "Everything is basically destroyed."

He stepped forward and pressed a hand against the brothel’s door.

BOOM.

The weakened wood gave way instantly, the door collapsing inward with a deafening rumble. Dust and debris scattered across the snow-covered ground, revealing the devastation within. ]

Inside, broken furniture lay strewn across the floor, crimson cushions slashed open, their silk entrails spilling out like lifeless bodies.

The once-lavish interior had been reduced to little more than wreckage—a deliberate act of destruction, leaving nothing intact.

Huang Bei was the first to rush through the door of the brothel, shouting, "YAN HAO! YAN LI! WHERE ARE YOU!!"

His voice was filled with anxiety—it was clear that he was deeply worried about the well-being of the two brothers.

His shout sent a wave of panic through the people observing from afar, causing them to scatter into the night.

Unfortunately for them, Lin Feng had other plans as a powerful aura of dominance and suppression suddenly poured out of his body like a hurricane.

His spiritual energy, combined with his stronger physical form, made him seem less like a human and more like a mber of the spiritual beast race.

"If any of you make a single move, I will break every bone in your body," Lin Feng spoke with a murderous tone. Although he wasn’t as close to Yan Hao and Yan Li as Huang Bei, it was clear that he was still deeply enraged by the situation.

I need to make a scene. The more terrified they are of , the higher the likelihood of them telling us the truth.

As his voice echoed through the streets, all the people who had been trying to observe and take advantage of the chaos froze in fear, their hearts pounding.

Clearly, Feng’s thod of intimidation had an imdiate effect.

Chen Shi, seeing the powerful aura Lin Feng was releasing, felt massive waves of shock surging through his heart.

Although he had known from the information he received that this newcor—brought by their young miss—was strong, he had always believed Lin Feng’s battle prowess was, at most, at the 8th level of Qi Condensation—equal to his own.

Because of that, he had never felt intimidated by him. But now, standing face-to-face with the sheer pressure Lin Feng exuded, a chilling thought crept into his mind.

This Lin Feng is much more powerful than what I’ve heard! What 8th level of Qi Condensation? This guy’s battle prowess is clearly already at the 9th level—and I doubt his limits stop there!

As Lin Feng continued to release the powerful aura of his cultivation base, one of the people seemingly intimidated by his display suddenly stepped forward into the open.

It was an old lady with white hair and purple eyes. Although age had taken its toll on her appearance, it was still easy to tell that she must have been very attractive in her youth.

"Grandma Qing! What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be staying at the estate?"

i Ling, still catching her breath from the earlier run, suddenly spoke up as she looked toward the elderly woman approaching them.

Ignoring i Ling’s question, Grandma Qing focused her gaze on Lin Feng, narrowing her eyes before speaking plainly.

"Are you the person who ca with Chen i—the young man nad Lin Feng?"
