"Qin Long bought this today. I was planning to tell you we should move imdiately."
Tang Xuewu’s incredible excitent left Zhang ilan perplexed.
After a stunned silence of about ten seconds, Zhang ilan finally stared at Tang Xuewu in shock. "This!"
Tang De also slowly set down the blue-and-white porcelain teacup in his hand.
"How could this be!" Zhang ilan kept waving her hands, refusing to believe it.
"I have the purchase agreent here, along with the key card and proof." As soon as Tang Xuewu finished speaking, she walked over to her purse.
"You must be lying to ! I don’t believe it! The Fish-Dragon King Villas... I’ve seen them on TV. A single unit costs at least nineteen million! If Qin Long really bought it, I, Zhang ilan, will walk backward from now on!" Zhang ilan shouted forcefully.
No sooner had she finished speaking than Tang Xuewu produced the docunts and handed them over.
"Here’s the agreent and the transfer records."
Tang Xuewu was beaming. This was the first ti she could prove Qin Long’s capabilities with hard evidence. She’d never dared to imagine sothing like this before—using a villa bought by Qin Long to put her own mother in her place.
Tang De imdiately leaned in for a closer look.
"This is the agreent..." Zhang ilan’s previous bluster vanished, and her expression soured.
"This is the purchase agreent for the villa, plus the transfer records and the property deed," Tang Xuewu said with imnse confidence, glancing at Qin Long.
She felt an incredible sense of pride. For so reason, seeing Qin Long’s capabilities was even more exciting and thrilling than when she had been appointed project manager.
Zhang ilan’s eyes widened, and Tang De was so stunned his jaw hung open.
Qin Long, in contrast, remained calm, clearly unconcerned by the whole affair. Besides, they would have to find out sooner or later.

Zhang ilan stared dazedly at the photos attached to the property deed.

This was why Zhang ilan and Tang De were suddenly unable to remain calm. They kept flipping through the agreent, scrutinizing every detail.

"Transaction price: twenty million!" After Zhang ilan counted the zeroes, her expression beca panicked. She hadn’t even noticed the paperwork for another property ntioned, a courtyard house worth thirty million.
This one property alone was enough to make her heart pound, feeling as if it might explode at any mont.
Twenty million! Not two hundred thousand.
Even the villa belonging to Tang De’s younger brother, Tang Sen, was only worth a little over five million. That alone had made Zhang ilan incredibly envious. Now, the Fish-Dragon King villa Qin Long had bought was nearly four tis as expensive. Zhang ilan could hardly believe her eyes.
"I must be dreaming!" Unable to control herself, Zhang ilan slapped her own face. A sharp, stinging pain followed.
Finally coming to her senses, she stared at Qin Long in utter shock before her gaze returned to the transfer records.
"So, how about it, Mom?" Tang Xuewu asked with a helpless smile.
Zhang ilan felt a wave of sha wash over her, but it quickly gave way to excitent. After all, she had always dread of living in a villa this grand. Now, a twenty-million-dollar house was right in front of her. How could she not be moved? How could she not be excited?
Tang De deliberately chid in, "Didn’t soone just say they were going to start walking backward?"
At his words, Zhang ilan imdiately stiffened. Seeing her reaction, Tang Xuewu and Qin Long shared a helpless smile.
Zhang ilan shot back through gritted teeth, "When did I ever say such a thing? Tang De, are you looking for trouble?" She refused to admit it, deliberately trying to argue her way out.
Neither Tang Xuewu nor Qin Long were going to argue with her about it, and they certainly weren’t going to force her to walk backward.
Seeing that no one was pressing the issue, Zhang ilan deliberately changed the subject, her eyes fixed greedily on the property deed as if she were afraid it would fly away.
Then, her expression turned serious as she stared at Tang Xuewu. "Xuewu, you didn’t pay for this, did you? Don’t you lie to us, young lady."
Tang Xuewu shook her head helplessly. "Mom, it wasn’t my money. You think too highly of ! Even after my bonus from the project cos through and taxes are paid, there wouldn’t be nearly enough. This was all Qin Long’s own money. I just provided a thumbprint," she quickly explained.
"But how could Qin Long have so much money?" Zhang ilan stared at him with incredible skepticism. "Don’t you dare tell it’s your own. The Audi cost six hundred thousand, the Rolls-Royce several million, plus all that jewelry, and now this villa... We’re talking about more than fifty million! Even if you’re on good terms with Zhao Ruoying, she wouldn’t give you that kind of money, would she? Spit it out! Where did you really get it?" she demanded, staring at the transfer receipt in her hand.
"It is my own," Qin Long admitted bluntly, unwilling to explain further.
