If he could just latch onto a dical Immortal like that, wouldn’t the Tang Family take off imdiately? His own status would soar, and he could even ask about The Art of Health Preservation. Living past ninety would be no problem at all.

"Elder Mu..." The expert stamred, looking embarrassed after a few seconds of stunned silence.

"Spit it out," Mu Daochun said, clearly growing impatient.

"Old Master Tang’s grandson-in-law... his surna is also Qin," the expert said doubtfully.

He didn’t know who this "Qin dical Immortal" was that Mu Daochun spoke of, but Qin Long’s surna was indeed Qin.

"What!" Upon hearing this, the color drained from Mu Daochun’s face. He gaped at the expert as his heart sank and imdiately walked over to Old Master Tang.

If his grandson-in-law is also nad Qin and possesses such heaven-defying dical skills... could he possibly be *the one*? Mu Daochun fell into deep thought, growing more shocked the more he considered it.

The mbers of the Tang Family, including Old Master Tang himself, were utterly baffled and stood rooted to the spot.

"Elder Mu, may I ask the real na of that Qin dical Immortal?" Tang Sen asked eagerly.

"I’m afraid I don’t know," Mu Daochun said, shaking his head with a helpless sigh. He had only ever heard the title "Qin dical Immortal"; he had never t the man in person.

Hearing this, Wang Ming felt a sense of foreboding. He raised an eyebrow and cut in, "What’s this about Old Master Tang’s grandson-in-law? Are you talking about Qin Long?"

The specialist turned and gave a nod of confirmation. "Yes, his na is Qin Long."

"He was the one who saved the old master," several other specialists chid in, emphasizing the point.

Wang Ming stared in disbelief for a second, then burst out laughing. "Are you kidding ? What dical skills could Qin Long possibly have? The man needs a cane just to walk! How could he possibly know acupuncture? I, Wang Ming, will say this right now: if he knows dicine, I’ll take his surna!"

Wang Ming’s face was full of disdain, his lips curling into a scornful sneer.

"Young Master Wang, what do you an by that?" Before Tang Sen could speak, Mu Daochun turned to Wang Ming, his expression perplexed.

"Elder Mu, allow to explain," Wang Ming said. "For the past three years, that Qin Long has been a complete idiot. He wears diapers, for crying out loud! He has the intelligence of a child.

"On top of that, his right leg is disabled, and he can only get around with a cane. If he really possessed such incredible dical skills, why wouldn’t he heal his own leg first?

"There has to be a misunderstanding. The one who saved the old master could not possibly have been Qin Long."

This is ridiculous, Wang Ming thought. A damned cripple, and they’re treating him like so dical Immortal? That’s like mistaking a pile of dog shit for gold.

Hearing this, the Tang Family mbers began to murmur amongst themselves, quickly reaching the sa conclusion. Mu Daochun also nodded slightly. Wang Ming had a point. If Qin Long couldn’t even cure himself, how could he possibly treat others? He would have to heal his own right leg to prove his abilities. That being the case, Qin Long must only know so rudintary massage and acupuncture techniques; he couldn’t be the legendary dical Immortal.

"Li Huanhuan, you were inside assisting. Did you see anything?" a middle-aged specialist asked, turning his gaze to the nurse.

The nurse looked puzzled. "I helped the old master get cleaned up, but then I... I accidentally fell asleep. I don’t really know what happened."

Hearing this, Tang Yuxiang sneered. "Well, that settles it, then. Qin Long is just a freeloading clown in our Tang Family. I know exactly what that good-for-nothing is capable of. He doesn’t know the first thing about acupuncture. Grandfather’s recovery had absolutely nothing to do with him."

As soon as he spoke, anyone who might have defended Qin Long fell silent. The rest of the Tang Family imdiately voiced their agreent. Tang Yuehua opened her mouth to speak, but a sharp, warning glare from her older brother, Tang Sen, stopped her.

Even Old Master Tang felt a pang of disappointnt. Had Qin Long really saved ? Was I about to repay kindness with ingratitude? But now... it seems I must have recovered on my own. Qin Long just happened to be there at the right ti.

"If you’re saying Qin Long only had an alcohol lamp... and no silver needles or anything... then the old master’s illness really wasn’t treated by him."

Li Huanhuan rembered seeing a lot of dark blood when she was dealing with the trash bag. Just as she was about to ntion it, Wang Ming quietly stepped up beside her. "What were you going to say, pretty miss?"

The naive Li Huanhuan, seeing it was Young Master Wang, spoke without reservation. "I saw black blood in the garbage bag. Maybe it was from Qin Long’s acupuncture..."

Before she could finish, Wang Ming’s heart skipped a beat. I have to get rid of that trash bag, no matter what. He then quietly moved closer to Li Huanhuan and slipped a pearl bracelet onto her wrist.

anwhile, Old Master Tang had also co to a conclusion: Qin Long was just trying to take advantage of a lucky coincidence. He wanted to claim the credit to prevent the family from kicking him out.

When everyone heard Mu Daochun’s analysis, they all nodded in agreent. In the hospital room, only Tang Yuehua still had her doubts; she firmly believed Qin Long had saved her father. But it was useless. No one else believed it.

"Seeing that the old master is out of danger, I shall take my leave," Mu Daochun announced. "The wife of the new district’s warden is waiting for this old man’s acupuncture treatnt." With a slight wave of his hand, he swaggered away.

"Thank you, Elder Mu, for coming to help my father. This is a double-sided jade Buddha. Please, you must accept it!" Tang Sen imdiately took an antique brocade box from his pocket and offered it to him. This gift had originally been intended as a bribe for the attending physician—to alter or forge a will after his father died. Now that his father was fine, using it to curry favor with Mu Daochun was an excellent alternative.

"There’s no need. Young Master Wang has already compensated , and besides, I didn’t actually do anything today." Mu Daochun smiled, declining Tang Sen’s offer while making sure to put in a good word for Wang Ming.

Hearing this, Wang Ming shot a flirtatious wink at Li Huanhuan before jogging over to see Mu Daochun out. Once Elder Mu was gone, Wang Ming returned to the room.

"Go tell your director that Old Master Tang is my, Wang Ming’s, future grandfather-in-law," he ordered the attending physician with an air of superiority. "He is to receive the best imported dicine. Put all expenses on my account."

"Old Master, please just focus on your recovery. I’ll take care of everything," Wang Ming said, then warmly carried the gifts he had brought into the room.

In his heart, Old Master Tang felt that this Wang Ming was a fine young man. He couldn’t help but compare him to Qin Long, and this comparison only strengthened his resolve to kick that freeloader out by any ans necessary.

"Alright, I have matters to discuss with Young Master Wang. The rest of you may leave," Old Master Tang said, his cold gaze sweeping over the family mbers. Hearing his command, they retreated like an ebbing tide, leaving the two of them alone in the room.

"Old Master, how are the arrangents for the Tang family’s courtyard coming along?" Wang Ming asked as soon as he closed the door, casting a cautious glance toward the entrance.

Now, every ti he thought of Tang Xuewu’s perfect figure, an uncontrollable fire ignited within him. It had gotten so bad that he had to bring a different supermodel ho every day, picturing Tang Xuewu’s face while he fiercely vented his frustrations.
