"To think senior sister Ming Yue would bring him to the sect"
one of the inner sect disciples said.
"With senior sister's recomndation,he might be able to easily join the sect"
another one pointed out.
"What are you guys even talking about? You guys haven't heard about his test results yet? With that result, he is already put on par with senior sister and considered the second supre genius,"
one of the disciples, who was a little calr than the others, said.
"How can that be true? For all we know, his spiritual roots might not be so good, so how can he be on par with senior sister Ming Yue?"
Throughout the sect, these types of discussions were going on, but none of these disciples knew where the person they were talking about was. Many tried to find him, but none were successful.
They only had one lead: he was with Elder Huan Caiyi when he left. Ming Yue might know where he was, but who had the guts or chance to go ask her that question?
Finding him in the whole sect was very difficult if they didn't know which peak he had joined. Every single peak of Mountain Sword Sect was as big as a small sect on its own.
In the main hall of the sect, all of the elders and peak masters had gathered today to discuss a very important matter. Many of the elders were in seclusion, but even they ca when they heard the news that Mountain Sword Sect had gotten a new supre genius.
Although not many believed it to be true, they wanted to see for themselves, so they ca to attend this eting.
Wei Qiang was sitting calmly, waiting for everyone to gather. Although almost everyone was present, there were still two elders, who had yet to arrive. No one voiced any objections because these two were special in the sect.
One was the peak master of the Sword Peak, Zhi Hui, and the other was Huan Caiyi, peak master of Alchemy Hall.
These two peaks were very special in the sect because the spirit peak, which was the main peak, contained the legacy of all other peaks except for these two. This was one of the conditions Zhi Hui and Huan Caiyi set when they joined the sect. Both Zhi Hui and Huan Caiyi were in the mid-stage of the Void Reversion Realm.
All the elders present here were in the Void Reversion Realm, and the sect master, Wei Qiang, was at the peak of the Void Reversion Realm. Even so, they still waited patiently for those two.
Finally, after 20 minutes, both arrived together and took their seats. Wei Qiang heaved a sigh of relief, as he wasn't sure if Huan Caiyi would co today. She was the most notorious of the two and didn't care for rules or etings.
"Let's start the discussion. We all know the reason we gathered today, so let's hear what you all think about the situation,"
Wei Qiang said, not wasting ti and coming straight to the point.
"Peak Master Huan, is it true that the new disciple you tested is a supre genius?"
the Peak Master of the Enforcent Hall asked imdiately after Wei Qiang started the eting.
"Hm... where did you hear about it?"
Huan Caiyi asked, surprised by his question.
Everyone was stunned, while Zhi Hui maintained her straight face, holding back a smile. She knew the whole truth and also knew that her friend would definitely hide the facts, but she still found it amusing when Huan Caiyi talked like this.
"Cough..."
Wei Qiang coughed and eyed the Peak Master of the Enforcent Hall. When the Peak Master saw that, he understood his intentions and didn't speak again.
He also understood from Huan Caiyi's tone that they wouldn't be able to get the full truth from her. Although he felt indignant about it, he kept quiet.
Wei Qiang thought for a mont and asked,
"Peak Master Huan, is the test result we all heard about true? Since you were present there, you must have seen it."
Huan Caiyi smiled when she heard him.
"Forget it. I will tell you guys everything you need to know so you won't feel sour-hearted. Listen carefully because I won't answer any of your questions after I am done speaking."
Everyone beca focused, even Wei Qiang, as he wanted to know the truth. Last ti, he wanted to take Ming Yue as a personal disciple too, but since Ming Yue was already personal disciple of Zhi Hui and Zhi Hui was the one who bought her together to the sect it wasn't possible to even think about it.
Now that another chance had arrived, he wasn't willing to give up this ti. Since Zhi Hui already had Ming Yue, she wouldn't fight for this disciple.
Huan Caiyi looked at everyone and spoke calmly,
"His na is Jiang Hao. You guys must have already known that because of those stupid, baseless rumors that had been spreading in the sect before he even joined.
And yes, the test result you all heard about is true—he touched the Pillar of Will directly."
Although everyone had heard it before, they were still surprised because hearing it from her was more believable than from disciples.
They all sighed in amazent. Everyone had gone through that test and knew what type of willpower was required to even cross the 60-ter mark, much less touch the pillar itself.
They could only imagine the amount of willpower required to do that. Even if Jiang Hao had Earth Grade Spiritual Roots, he would still be considered a supre genius in their eyes. Having such strong willpower at the age of 15 was almost impossible.
Huan Caiyi let them digest the information for a little while and then spoke again.
"By the way, he has already joined Alchemy Peak and is a Legacy Disciple of Alchemy Peak, so don't even think of taking him as a disciple. Other than that, you don't need to know anything else. I will take my leave now, as I want to try a new pill recipe I discovered recently. So don't disturb for the ti being."
After speaking, Huan Caiyi stood and left. Zhi Hui also followed her.
The others just sighed when they saw that. It was already good enough that she at least verified the test results. Asking anything else from her was impossible if she didn't want to disclose it herself.
The other Peak Masters looked at Wei Qiang, as they knew he had wanted to take Jiang Hao as a disciple. Although he looked calm on the outside, they knew he was feeling bitter inside.
Wei Qiang looked at each of them and spoke,
"Looks like Mountain Sword Sect has gained another supre genius. Even though we don't know about his spiritual roots, it won't matter. Since he has already cultivated to the peak of the Qi Refinent Realm at the age of 15, he must have extraordinary Earth Spiritual Roots, if not Heaven Spiritual Roots.
Although I would like to keep this matter confidential, I know it will be leaked eventually. We should prepare counterasures against any threats we may face.
We are one of the top sects in this world and shouldn't bow down to any kind of threats. Blazing Valley Sect will definitely cause so disturbance, as we got two supre geniuses in this era while they got none.
Thousand Petal Order won't make any fuss, as they love to maintain their image of peace, so we don't have to worry about those bald monks for the ti being.
But Blazing Valley is another matter altogether. They might not even hide in the shadows and may co at us directly, so we should be prepared."
Wei Qiang stopped and looked at everyone.
"Let's disperse for now. I have to report this matter to the Grand Elders and Supre Elder."
"As you wish, Sect Master."
Everyone left the hall, leaving Wei Qiang behind. Wei Qiang sighed once again and left for the ancestral land at the top of the main peak.
...
Zhi Hui and Huan Caiyi returned to Sword Peak.
"You should hold back a little next ti. You don't know how hard it was for not to laugh there,"
Zhi Hui said.
"Who told you to stop yourself? You could have laughed as much as you wanted. It's not like they would say anything to you."
When Zhi Hui heard that, she bonked Huan Caiyi on the head.
"Ouch... what was that for?"
"There are so places where you have to be serious, you know. When will you be mature enough to understand that?"
Zhi Hui sighed while saying that.
"Che... if I have to hold back myself, I'd rather not beco mature like you."
While bickering, they arrived at the place where Ming Yue was waiting for them.
Ming Yue bowed to them.
"Master, Aunt, why did the eting end so quickly?"
"Ask your aunt about that. If she knew how to hold back her temper a little, we might have stayed a little longer."
Ming Yue already knew about Huan Caiyi's nature, so she just smiled and let it go.
