The following week passed by quickly. With Su Qing and Jiang Xinyi both gone, nothing much happened around Zhou Yuwen. He usually stayed over either at Zheng Yanyan and Lu Lin's place, or with Tao Tian and Qu Jing.
None of these four girls had much ambition. Aside from Zheng Yanyan occasionally getting a little jealous, they all got along quite harmoniously. Every now and then, Zhou Yuwen would even gather the four of them together for a family-style dinner.
This was an era of rapid internet developnt, but the career Zhou Yuwen was building could not be achieved overnight. Currently, the Fun Campus app was thodically acquiring users. Centered around convenience, speed, and serving university students, the app had added several sub-features. These included linking to a few food delivery platforms so users could order food delivery directly within Fun Campus, scanning QR codes to ride shared bicycles, and checking daily class schedules.
All of these simple, practical features were integrated right into Fun Campus.
In his free ti, Zhou Yuwen would also stroll around the school. After all, he was the honorary vice president of the Student Union, so he had to show his face slightly at so of their routine activities.
For example, the recently held freshman welcoming gala.
Every year's freshman gala was largely the sa. Although the cast of characters changed crop after crop, the performances were nothing more than passionate dances by the Arts Departnt, followed by soone playing the guitar, so cody sketches, and a bunch of other random acts.
Last year, as a freshman, Zhou Yuwen had completely stolen the show. This year, naturally, there would also be boys with nice singing voices erging.
There would also be girls with great figures and excellent dancing skills who would beco the center of everyone's adoration.
During a Student Union eting, Shen Yu half-jokingly asked if Zhou Yuwen wanted to go on stage to perform this year.
Zhou Yuwen naturally refused. This freshman gala was a place for the new students to shine; why would a sophomore senior male student like him join in on the commotion?
Did they expect him to perform for four years straight just because he was studying here for four years?
After Zhou Yuwen said that, several other students at the eting burst into laughter.
Shen Yu, however, felt a bit awkward.
After the eting ended, Zheng Yanyan pulled Zhou Yuwen aside and acted coquettishly. In a sickly sweet voice, she asked if he had any free ti.
Zhou Yuwen asked what was going on.
"If you're free, co sit in our Arts Departnt for a bit. You're the one in charge of overseeing us, after all," Zheng Yanyan said sweetly, playfully wiggling her little buttocks.
Zhou Yuwen was curious. "Since when was I in charge of your Arts Departnt?"
"Oh, co on, you still won't admit it? When Tao Tian was here, you took such good care of the Arts Departnt. How co you won't even visit now that I'm in charge?" Zheng Yanyan pouted.
Zhou Yuwen told her she was lying through her teeth.
"Wasn't I only going to the Arts Departnt before because we were dating? Now that you're the minister of the Arts Departnt, what's left for to do there?"
Zheng Yanyan said she had sothing to discuss with him.
And she coquettishly pressed him on whether he was coming or not.
Unable to withstand Zheng Yanyan's pleading, Zhou Yuwen finally agreed.
Around this ti, Shen Yu was searching everywhere for Zhou Yuwen after the eting. She wanted to explain that her suggestion during the eting for him to perform was really just a joke.
Of course, it would have been best if Zhou Yuwen actually did perform.
Because every ti he perford, a swarm of students from other schools would always flock over to watch.
But when she finally spotted Zhou Yuwen, she found that he was already leaving, his arm linked with Zheng Yanyan's.
Standing there, Shen Yu hesitated for a mont. Ultimately, she did not step forward to greet him.
She did not know when it started, but Shen Yu felt as though she and Zhou Yuwen were drifting further and further apart.
No, it would be more accurate to say they had never been close to begin with.
During their freshman year, Shen Yu only interacted with Zhou Yuwen because she was roommates with Zheng Yanyan and the others.
But right now, Su Qing had already gone abroad.
And Zheng Yanyan and Lu Lin had already moved out a long ti ago.
Last sester, Shen Yu was still acting disgusted by this and that, happily watching the drama unfold and thinking, 'What kind of twisted three views are these?'
Yet, she had never considered distancing herself from them.
But she realized that, before she knew it, she had beco the one being distanced.
Her relationship had only ever been decent with Su Qing.
Now that Su Qing was gone, Zheng Yanyan and Lu Lin had long since ford their own clique.
Who would bother paying attention to her anymore?
In the past, Shen Yu still thought she and Zhou Yuwen were friends.
But what were the facts?
They had not contacted each other for three or four months.
If they t again, even a simple greeting would probably be awkward.
The Arts Departnt was being managed fairly well by Zheng Yanyan. Currently, it was the school's only all-female departnt, and male students were no longer allowed in their activity room.
Zhou Yuwen was, of course, an exception.
Zheng Yanyan took Zhou Yuwen on a tour of the Arts Departnt's activity rooms. There was a yoga room and a dance studio.
When they arrived, there was a group of girls in yoga outfits stretching their legs.
Zheng Yanyan invited Zhou Yuwen to step inside and take a look, but he declined.
Since it was an all-female departnt, it was better to maintain proper boundaries.
Otherwise, it would attract gossip.
Following Zheng Yanyan into the minister's office, Zhou Yuwen sat on the sofa and asked what she had called him here for.
Zheng Yanyan first locked the office door and then pulled the window curtains shut.
Then, she collapsed softly into his arms. With wet lips, she gently bit his ear and asked if he had missed her.
Zhou Yuwen replied that since they saw each other every single day, how could missing her even be a question?
Zheng Yanyan let out a soft whine, saying it was different.
"It's not like you only see every day. You always see and Lu Lin together. We rarely get to spend any alone ti together."
Looking at her resentful expression, Zhou Yuwen found it amusing, thinking to himself that this was indeed true.
At least Lu Lin knew how to sneak in a little extra taste at night while Zheng Yanyan was asleep.
But Zheng Yanyan clearly lacked that kind of awareness.
"So you dragged all the way over here today just for this?"
"Hehe!"
Zheng Yanyan was wearing an apricot-white off-the-shoulder knit top today, leaving a beautiful shoulder exposed with a white spaghetti strap dangling from it. Below, she sported a pair of snow-white, slender beautiful legs. Since she was sitting on his lap, her long legs were splayed to the side.
Since the door was already locked, Zhou Yuwen knew exactly what Zheng Yanyan wanted to do.
Naturally, he obliged.
Of course, Zheng Yanyan calling Zhou Yuwen over was not solely for this reason either.
She wanted Zhou Yuwen to provide a sponsorship for the Arts Departnt.
She wanted to do sothing completely different with the Arts Departnt at this year's freshman gala.
Zhou Yuwen asked how it would be different.
Zheng Yanyan shared her vision. She didn't want it to be like the past, where they just wore cheap-looking little skirts every year to dance.
She said she wanted to put on a catwalk fashion show this year.
It would feature the girls from the Arts Departnt wearing all sorts of gorgeous clothes, strutting from the backstage to the front, with everyone radiating their own unique charm.
After listening, Zhou Yuwen thought it was a solid idea.
However, if they were going to do a fashion show, they definitely needed proper evening gowns. Even if they weren't haute couture, they couldn't look cheap. Furthermore, even though the students from the Arts Departnt all had a dance background, a runway show would still require so specialized training.
Zheng Yanyan giggled, resting her cheek against his thighs. "Which is exactly why I need your help!"
As for the gowns, Zhou Yuwen had plenty of wealth and resources, so that went without saying.
As for the runway training.
It was worth noting that Zhou Yuwen owned a cultural dia company. His office had a dedicated etiquette training room, and they regularly hired a teacher to co give lessons.
With such excellent resources at hand.
Why not use them?
Zheng Yanyan batted her eyelashes at Zhou Yuwen, practically shooting sparks.
"I knew you didn't call over for anything good," Zhou Yuwen said.
"Good hubby, please help out!" Zheng Yanyan begged, rubbing her small hands together.
Her position as the minister of the Arts Departnt had been heavily criticized by many, so she hoped to achieve so tangible results to thoroughly convince the skeptics.
Seeing her looking so pitifully at him, Zhou Yuwen felt helpless and agreed. "Fine."
"But I have my own conditions. This performance of yours absolutely must be title-sponsored by my company. Additionally, we will broadcast your show on the hopage of the Fun Campus app as a promotional event."
Hearing this, Zheng Yanyan grew even more excited. "Doesn't that an we can all beco famous!?"
"That's just your personal thought. Others might not see it that way."
"How could they not? Who doesn't want to be famous? Hehe, hopage exposure is sothing people would beg for and still not get. Hubby, I knew you treated the best!" Zheng Yanyan began acting coquettish once again.
Zhou Yuwen rely rolled his eyes at her.
Conscious that Zhou Yuwen was doing all this to spoil her, Zheng Yanyan was especially hardworking in the activities that followed.
The two stayed in the minister's office until quite late.
It wasn't until around eight o'clock in the evening that Zheng Yanyan finally erged from the office with Zhou Yuwen, wiping her small mouth with her hand as if she had sneaked a tasty snack.
They originally thought that since it was so late, everyone would have left.
Unexpectedly, as they stepped out the door, they bumped into Yin Songyue and one of her classmates who had just finished dance practice.
Yin Songyue had an exceptionally good figure. She was wearing a light green V-neck yoga outfit and had her hair tied into a single braid on one side. Since she had just finished practicing, her neckline was soaked with sweat, further accentuating her curves.
Bumping into Zhou Yuwen right as she walked out of the dance studio genuinely gave her a start.
However, because she already knew him, she wasn't too flustered, and blurted out, "Senior Male Student Zhou."
Zhou Yuwen actually did not have much of an impression of Yin Songyue. Seeing her greet him, he offered a slight, acknowledging nod and walked out with Zheng Yanyan.
Yin Songyue's classmate was completely surprised and asked, "How do you know Senior Male Student Zhou?"
Hearing this, Yin Songyue chuckled softly and replied with her own question, "Is that so strange?"
Her classmate thought about it for a second and realized it wasn't actually that strange.
"As expected of you, Songyue. Even Senior Male Student Yuwen treats you differently."
Yin Songyue was noncommittal towards that statent.
Yet, before she could even feel proud, her classmate offered a secretive warning. "Songyue, you'd better not get too close to Senior Male Student Yuwen~"
Yin Songyue felt confused and asked what she ant by that.
The classmate stated that all the girls in the Arts Departnt knew.
Senior Male Student Zhou Yuwen was Minister Zheng's boyfriend.
"Didn't you notice the look in Minister Zheng's eyes just now when you greeted him?"
Hearing this, Yin Songyue felt even more puzzled. According to the rumors she had heard: "Didn't Senior Sister Yanyan and Senior Male Student Yuwen break up a long ti ago?"
"They might have broken up, but they're still fooling around together, aren't they? Didn't you see them coming and going together?"
"With a guy like Senior Male Student Yuwen, who would be willing to just give up like that?"
Thinking about it herself, Yin Songyue figured it made sense.
It had been so ti since the sester started. To be completely honest, Yin Songyue disliked this arrogant Arts Departnt minister. She always felt that Minister Zheng was rather headstrong and capricious. Word on the street was that the only reason she had beco minister was because she was Zhou Yuwen's ex-girlfriend.
The other people in the departnt seed terrified of Zheng Yanyan.
But Yin Songyue had been a proud, favored daughter of heaven since childhood; she had never been afraid of anyone.
Her classmate's implication was that she should keep a low profile in front of Zheng Yanyan.
"You really shouldn't have greeted Senior Male Student Yuwen just now."
This was sothing Yin Songyue truly detested hearing. She retorted, "They've been broken up for ages. Does she really need to police a simple greeting?"
"No wonder Senior Male Student Yuwen chose to break up with her."
"Shush! Don't talk nonsense!" The classmate imdiately grew frantic.
Yin Songyue rely gave a disdainful pout.
Naturally, Zhou Yuwen and Zheng Yanyan couldn't hear any of this conversation.
With Zhou Yuwen's authorization, Zheng Yanyan announced the departnt's performance program during their next eting. She declared that this performance would be a collaboration with Zhou Yuwen's cultural dia company. All expenses for their runway show, including costus and makeup, would be provided by Xianlin Cultural Company.
"Not only that, but the performance will be featured on the official hopage of the Fun Campus app. When the ti cos, you'll all gain quite a few fans!"
As Zheng Yanyan spoke, she brimd with a profound sense of superiority.
Things went exactly as Zheng Yanyan had anticipated. The other girls were genuinely thrilled upon hearing this, chiming in, "It's all thanks to Older Sister Yanyan!"
"Without Older Sister Yanyan, where would we ever get such amazing resources!"
Zheng Yanyan found these praises incredibly satisfying.
After settling on a ti, during the departnt's activity period on Wednesday afternoon, Zheng Yanyan led a flocking of beautiful won over to Zhou Yuwen's company for training.
These girls had just graduated from high school and were still relatively simple. Where would they have ever seen such a modernly decorated, human-centric designed office?
Everywhere they walked felt novel to them. They gazed around in sheer amazent, like country bumpkins entering a grand estate for the first ti.
More importantly, the entire floor of the office building actually belonged to Zhou Yuwen's company.
The girls couldn't help but sigh in awe.
It had to be known that Zhou Yuwen was only a year older than them.
"Does Senior Male Student Zhou Yuwen normally work here?"
"Older Sister Yanyan, will we run into Senior Male Student Zhou Yuwen?"
Zheng Yanyan looked at these little virgins one by one, feeling quite a bit of disdain in her heart. She replied, "Zhou Yuwen is upstairs. This floor is used for training and dance practice for the artists of the cultural company. When the teacher arrives later, pay close attention. If you perform well, I'll discuss it with him and take you upstairs for a tour of the company. There's even a gym up there."
"Really!?"
The girls grew even more filled with expectation upon hearing this.
Thus, once the teacher arrived, they began learning proper posture and the specific details they needed to pay attention to while walking the runway.
Because these students had a foundation in dance, they learned extrely quickly, often grasping the concepts the mont they were pointed out. Therefore, they maintained so interest in the beginning, but as ti dragged on, they started to find it dull.
Yin Songyue, for instance, was sowhat absent-minded. She was thinking that, according to Zheng Yanyan, Senior Male Student Zhou Yuwen should be right upstairs.
So, what must Senior Male Student Zhou look like when he was working?
