Today, Zheng Yanyan wore a small tank top, which made it easier for Zhou Yuwen to act. He simply slid the strap to the side, imdiately revealing her fair skin. Of course, Zheng Yanyan still tried to cover herself with her hands; she couldn’t expose everything. But even so, in the dim light, she looked even more alluring as she half-covered herself.
Zhou Yuwen, without asking, pulled her tank top down further, which made Zheng Yanyan a bit unhappy. She shot him a glare, but Zhou Yuwen didn’t give her a chance to complain, imdiately silencing her with a kiss.
"Mm!" Zheng Yanyan couldn’t help but let out a soft moan. She wanted to say sothing, but Zhou Yuwen was too skillful, not giving her any opportunity to resist. He first kissed her lips, then moved to her neck. Under his kisses, Zheng Yanyan’s entire body felt weak, and she tightly pressed her legs together.
Though she was determined not to let Zhou Yuwen cross the line, she didn’t mind when he touched her legs. Zhou Yuwen took this as a sign and, through her shorts, began to explore further down. She didn’t stop him.
Zhou Yuwen continued, kissing her collarbone and then moving lower. The strap on her shoulder had long been pulled down, and though she tried to cover herself, Zhou Yuwen persistently kissed her soft skin. It wasn’t large, but it was definitely soft.
Zheng Yanyan tried to block his kisses with her hand, but Zhou Yuwen wasn’t about to give up so easily. When he got serious, he simply moved her hand away. In that instant, her tank top fell further down, leaving her exposed.
Now he could see everything clearly.
In his previous life, Zhou Yuwen had been on good terms with Chang Hao, who often spoke highly of himself and his background. Chang Hao was proud of being a native of Beijing and was particular about everything, from the brand of cigarettes he smoked to the skincare products he used.
Despite his pride, Chang Hao was devoted, having pursued Zheng Yanyan throughout their four years in college without dating anyone else. When asked why, he would explain that his family wouldn’t allow him to date a girl from outside Beijing.
"If my grandmother knew I was dating a girl from outside the city, she’d break my legs with a rolling pin!"
"Is it really that serious?"
"You wouldn’t understand since you’re not from Beijing. But I’ve only ever pursued Yanyan, and if I can’t get her, I’ll just marry soone from Beijing. After all, it has to be soone local."
Chang Hao’s constant praise made Zheng Yanyan seem untouchable to everyone, but now, Zhou Yuwen saw her up close, her youthful body perfectly ford.
Without further ado, Zhou Yuwen leaned in and took her into his mouth.
"Mm..."
When Zhou Yuwen bit her, Zheng Yanyan couldn’t help but let out a soft, involuntary moan. It was a sound that couldn’t be described with words, one that triggered the most primal urges in a man. At that mont, her body went limp, collapsing onto Zhou Yuwen. She realized they had crossed a line—they had only been dating for a day, and she was nearly taken by him. Yet the tingling sensation from Zhou Yuwen’s head buried in her chest was sothing she had never felt before.
Her body was responding in unfamiliar ways.
"Zhou Yuwen..." Zheng Yanyan, her eyes half-closed, spoke with a slight sob in her voice. She wanted him to stop, but at the sa ti, she didn’t want this feeling to end. She held onto his head tightly, allowing him to continue.
At this point, Zhou Yuwen was also struggling to control himself. He had been back in this life for a month without touching a woman, and now, driven by youthful desire, he didn’t hold back. He laid her down on the seat and, before she could react, leaned over her, continuing to press his head against her chest. His free hand moved to the sa level, with his index finger playing as if it were strumming a guitar string.
"Mm, stop, Zhou Yuwen... stop," Zheng Yanyan couldn’t hold back her voice, and tears began to well up. Zhou Yuwen’s finger continued to tease her, and the sensation was so overwhelming that she was no longer the confident girl she usually was.
"Yanyan is different, just like —she’s from Beijing. Girls from Beijing are different from those from other places!" Chang Hao’s proud words echoed in Zhou Yuwen’s mind, but he found nothing special about her now as she begged him to stop.
At this point, Zheng Yanyan was completely overwheld. Her breathing was erratic, and her eyes were hazy as she looked at Zhou Yuwen. He held her close, his hands moving to undo her denim shorts.
"No..." Luckily, Zheng Yanyan had a sliver of rationality left. Though she lacked the strength to overpower him, she held onto Zhou Yuwen tightly, pressing their bodies together to prevent him from continuing.
Zhou Yuwen whispered in her ear, "I just want to look, I won’t do anything else."
Zheng Yanyan ignored him.
Zhou Yuwen held her like this, unable to resist making small moves, while Zheng Yanyan’s grip on him only tightened.
After several failed attempts to remove her shorts, Zhou Yuwen finally gave up and simply held her, saying, "Alright, alright, I won’t do anything."
"I really didn’t an anything by it, I just wanted to look."
Zheng Yanyan, still wary, held onto Zhou Yuwen tightly and refused to let go. Her tank top had slipped down to her stomach, and she knew that if she let go, she would be completely exposed.
Seeing how stubborn she was, Zhou Yuwen sighed and let her hold him. After a while, she finally cald down, releasing him and pulling her tank top back up over her shoulders.
Her eyes were red, and she looked at Zhou Yuwen with a mix of resentnt and sadness.
To be honest, Zhou Yuwen’s position had been uncomfortable. Now that he had sat back up, he felt a bit more clear-headed. He sighed, feeling a bit of his sanity return, but when he turned and saw Zheng Yanyan’s resentful gaze, he asked, "Why are you looking at
like that?"
"Take
back," Zheng Yanyan said coldly, her voice filled with a mixture of resentnt and detachnt.
She didn’t even look at Zhou Yuwen, staring straight ahead instead.
"What ti is it?"
Zhou Yuwen checked his watch—it was almost 11 PM.
"Take
back," Zheng Yanyan repeated, more firmly this ti, clearly angry.
"Oh."
It wasn’t hard to see why she was upset. Zhou Yuwen had clearly tried to push things too far. To Zheng Yanyan, this relationship might have seed like a bit of fun, but Zhou Yuwen had shown his true colors. And with his smooth moves, she couldn’t believe he hadn’t had experience with other girls.
As she thought about his skillful actions, she couldn’t help but grow colder towards him.
Zhou Yuwen drove her back to the dormitory, and without a word, she got out of the car, not even saying goodbye.
Zhou Yuwen watched her enter the dorm, not looking back once. He realized he had ssed up.
"Sigh, I guess I was too eager."
Just as Zheng Yanyan left, a girl in a black tank top approached Zhou Yuwen’s car.
"Hey, is this your car?"
"Yeah."
"So cool! Can I sit inside?" The girl winked at him with a smile.
"Not tonight, I’m not in the mood."
Zhou Yuwen wasn’t interested, so after a brief exchange, he drove away. The girl had wanted to ask for his contact information, but Zhou Yuwen didn’t give her the chance.
Zhou Yuwen wasn’t in a good mood after upsetting Zheng Yanyan. He admitted to himself that he might have been too pushy, but he was just a normal guy. After holding back for so long, it was hard not to get carried away. But he wasn’t a jerk—he could promise that he would be devoted to Yanyan in the future.
But now, it was too late for that.
He knew he was wrong, but he wasn’t about to admit it. Maybe they just weren’t ant to be together. Zhou Yuwen guessed that Zheng Yanyan might want to break up, and if that’s the case, so be it.
It was a pity, though—he hadn’t been able to fulfill Chang Hao’s wish.
It was late, and Zhou Yuwen didn’t feel like booking a hotel. He decided to just head back to the dorm and crash for the night.
By the ti he got back, Li Qiang had finished showering and was sitting on a stool, smoking a cigarette. Without a computer to use, he was just watching Chang Hao play gas.
As ti passed, Chang Hao’s mood grew worse. He couldn’t help but think that Zhou Yuwen wouldn’t just spend the night away after only one day of dating, right? Yanyan wasn’t that kind of girl, was she?
Li Qiang, bored of watching the ga, moved out to the balcony to smoke and play on his phone. anwhile, ng Lei created a small group chat for the students who were interested in the part-ti job and inford them that he had secured the job for them—90 yuan a day for five days.
Everyone in the group chat confird they had received the ssage and thanked ng Lei. Li Qiang, smoking a cigarette, also sent a ssage saying he had received it. Thinking about how he could earn 450 yuan in five days made him feel like money in the big city was easy to earn. If he could get similar gigs every month, he could make over 700 yuan just by working eight days a month. It felt like he was making decent money.
As the saying goes, "With a full belly cos the desire for love." This was exactly how Li Qiang felt. He was well-fed and content, and now he found himself wanting to date soone. But he didn’t really know any other girls, so he stared at his phone for a long ti, debating whether to send a ssage. Eventually, he decided to send a ssage to Lu Lin: "Are you there?"
His ssage seed to go into the void with no reply for several minutes, leaving him feeling frustrated. But then, suddenly, a reply from Lu Lin popped up: "?"
Li Qiang couldn’t help but feel a surge of happiness. He quickly put out his cigarette and, with both hands, typed a response, telling her that he had dinner with ng, the head of the External Relations Departnt, and that ng was a great guy who found them a part-ti job paying 90 yuan a day.
"Oh." Lu Lin had thought Li Qiang might have sothing important to say, but it turned out to be just the usual chatter, which made her feel a bit disappointed. She thought she had made herself clear before.
But even though things had been clear before, that was in the past. Li Qiang hadn’t really expected a reply when he ssaged Lu Lin, but when she did respond, he couldn’t help but overthink it. He wondered if it had sothing to do with Zhou Yuwen and Zheng Yanyan’s relationship. Lu Lin had been interested in Zhou Yuwen, but now that he was dating Zheng Yanyan, Lu Lin might feel hurt. And after feeling hurt, maybe she would think that Li Qiang wasn’t so bad after all. That could be why she replied to him.
In the past, whenever Li Qiang ssaged Lu Lin, she would reply the next day if he sent the ssage in the morning. But now, she replied within minutes. Could it be that his heartfelt confession had made an impact?
Look, as soon as he sent the ssage, Lu Lin responded. Even though it was just an "oh," Li Qiang was still quite satisfied.
So he continued chatting with Lu Lin: "Lao Zhou hasn’t co back yet."
"Oh."
"Zheng Yanyan hasn’t returned to the dorm either, has she?"
"Mm."
Excited, Li Qiang shouted to Chang Hao in the room, "Hao, I’m chatting with Lu Lin! She told
that Zheng Yanyan hasn’t co back yet, so she’s probably having a good ti with Lao Zhou!"
Chang Hao frowned, but then a thought struck him: "Why is Lu Lin still chatting with you?"
"Why shouldn’t she? Can’t we be friends?" Li Qiang grinned.
This made Chang Hao feel even worse. Not only had he failed in his one-sided crush, but now this guy Li Qiang was chatting with Lu Lin?
"Hey, Lu Lin, do you think Lao Zhou and Zheng Yanyan might not co back tonight? ??"
"She’s back."
"Huh?"
Lu Lin said, "Yanyan’s back."
"Oh, oh."
This caught Li Qiang off guard, leaving him unsure how to respond. After a mont, he sent another ssage to Lu Lin: "Lao Zhou still hasn’t co back."
But this ti, Lu Lin didn’t reply.
anwhile, Zheng Yanyan had returned to her dorm in a different mood. Normally, she would be loud and playful, bothering her roommates, but tonight she ca back with a cold expression and said nothing. She just grabbed her pajamas and went straight to the bathroom.
She definitely needed to change her pants. On the one hand, she was angry with Zhou Yuwen for his actions—it felt like all he wanted was to sleep with her. On the other hand, it was the first ti her body had reacted so uncontrollably. In fact, the lack of expression on her face was also because, if Zhou Yuwen had looked closely, he would have noticed a damp spot on the inside of her thigh.
Fortunately, no one noticed. In the dorm’s bathroom, Zheng Yanyan took a quick shower and changed into clean clothes. By the ti she was done, twenty minutes had passed.
She didn’t rush out of the bathroom but sat on the toilet, picking up her phone. She figured twenty minutes had passed, so Zhou Yuwen should have ssaged her by now.
She didn’t want to break up with him; she just wanted to leave him hanging for twenty minutes so he could realize his mistake. But when she checked her phone, she saw that Zhou Yuwen hadn’t sent any ssages.
In that mont, Zheng Yanyan felt an unexpected emptiness in her heart.
