While Zhou Yuwen was on the phone with Zheng Yanyan, Su Qing was half-reclining nearby, her fraless glasses adding a hint of icy elegance to her appearance. Zhou Yuwen grabbed Su Qing’s little foot, gave it a sniff to confirm it was odor-free, and only then let her be. After all, if she had athlete’s foot, wouldn’t Lu Lin and Zheng Yanyan be at risk too? Zhou Yuwen had to be responsible for their well-being.

It seed Zheng Yanyan had been deeply wronged over at Tao Tian’s place and was now seeking comfort from Zhou Yuwen. When he learned she’d been slapped, Zhou Yuwen felt a pang of heartache. He lowered his voice to console her, coaxing her to co over quickly. Hearing him speak so gently, Su Qing’s mood instantly soured. She leaned over, wrapping her arms around Zhou Yuwen from the front, attempting to kiss him, but he gently declined—he was still on the phone. Left with no other choice, Su Qing began kissing his neck instead.

This mischievous girl had a cunning plan—she was trying to leave a mark. Zhou Yuwen quickly noticed the ticklish sensation and pushed her away, but it was already too late. A faint mark had appeared on his neck. Zhou Yuwen gave Su Qing a dissatisfied look while continuing to chat with Zheng Yanyan.

After ending the call with Yanyan, Zhou Yuwen turned to Su Qing, who was clinging to him and sulking. “Zhou Yuwen, why are you so good to her?” she asked.

“She’s my girlfriend. What’s wrong with treating her well?” Zhou Yuwen replied.

“But I’m your wife.”

“Ex-wife.”

Zhou Yuwen sighed as he watched Su Qing pout, visibly upset. “Don’t think I don’t know what you were humming about just now,” he teased.

“I couldn’t help it,” she replied coyly.

“Yeah, right. Couldn’t help it, but you still left a hickey?”

Zhou Yuwen adjusted his seat upright, turned on the vanity mirror light, and checked his neck. Though the mark was faint, it was still visible. To avoid upsetting Zheng Yanyan, Zhou Yuwen rubbed the mark until it turned redder, planning to bla it on a bug bite. Su Qing, seeing this, was displeased. She had left the mark on purpose, hoping Zheng Yanyan would notice.

Frustrated, Su Qing climbed into Zhou Yuwen’s lap, her petite eighteen-year-old fra pressing against him. Without pants on, her soft, youthful curves were impossible to ignore. In a sweet but coquettish tone, she said, “Don’t rub it off! She won’t notice.”

“How can you be so sure?” Zhou Yuwen replied skeptically.

Su Qing was bewildered. Just monts ago, before Yanyan’s call, Zhou Yuwen was reminiscing about their shared past, but now he had turned cold and distant. Feeling that she might be at fault, she said, “Then wait a bit before rubbing it off, okay? We haven’t even finished yet. Let’s do it first, and then you can clean up.”

Su Qing’s desire had already been kindled earlier when Zhou Yuwen had reclined the seat and used his unique “technique.” At that mont, she had closed her eyes, her shirt loosely covering her enticing figure, while Zhou Yuwen’s touch sent shivers through her. Su Qing’s responses were always more intense than other girls’. Her body and heart were fully open to him, and the experience left her deeply moved.

Since their divorce, Su Qing found herself constantly missing the intimacy they once shared. Though they had been apart for a long ti, every ti she thought about it, she would co back to him. Unlike n, whose desire could be more casual, Su Qing’s longing was specific and unwavering. Each ti, she tried to suppress her emotions by picking fights or making cutting remarks.

But Zhou Yuwen shook his head. “Yanyan just got slapped. How could I be in the mood for sothing like that? Let’s do it another day.”

Su Qing, taken aback, protested, “Zhou Yuwen, I’m your wife! What is she to you?”

“She’s my girlfriend,” Zhou Yuwen replied bluntly. “Get your facts straight.”

“Zhou Yuwen!” Su Qing was so angry that her eyes brimd with tears. Zhou Yuwen chuckled, pulling her into his arms and gently coaxing her. “Alright, alright, you’re the main wife. Why get so worked up over her? We’ve been together for so long. Can’t you let her have this one? I just sent you twenty thousand yuan. Be good, okay?”

He kissed her on the cheek twice. Though Su Qing was still unhappy, she relented. “You’re just sweet-talking ,” she mumbled.

“Honestly, I just don’t feel like it right now. Co on, this is supposed to be our first ti back together in this world. You’d really settle for doing it in the car? There’s no space to move,” Zhou Yuwen teased.

Su Qing pouted, but she agreed reluctantly. Zhou Yuwen kissed her softly, promising, “When Yanyan isn’t around, I’ll tidy up the house and make sure it’s perfect for you.”

His gentle tone and touch left Su Qing weak in his arms. She leaned against his shoulder, murmuring her agreent. After comforting her, Zhou Yuwen drove Su Qing back to her dormitory.

Though the evening hadn’t ended exactly as Su Qing had hoped, it had still been a lovely date. She felt like the moonlight was brighter than usual as she humd a tune on her way back to the dorm. By the ti she arrived, it was nearly eleven. Zheng Yanyan had already gone to Zhou Yuwen’s place, leaving Lu Lin and Shen Yu in the dormitory.

Lu Lin, standing on the balcony smoking a cigarette, was soon joined by Shen Yu. The two began chatting, forming an unexpected connection. Their talk was interrupted, however, when Su Qing entered, clearly in a joyful mood. Spotting them on the balcony, she exclaid, “Hey, why are you all out here? What are you talking about? Take

with you!”

Removing her glasses, Su Qing cheerfully ran over and hugged Lu Lin and Shen Yu. “Did anything exciting happen in the cafeteria just now? Tell

everything!” she asked eagerly.

Shen Yu gave Su Qing an exasperated look and teased, “What? Did your classmate treat you well?”

Caught off guard, Su Qing coughed lightly and replied awkwardly, “Uh, cough!”
