The three n present were all startled. However, when they saw a man who looked like a beggar appear before them, their initial surprise instantly turned to disdain and contempt.

"You stinking beggar!" Liu Shaoyang sneered. "Heaven has a path, but you refused to walk it; hell has no gate, yet you insisted on breaking in!"

Indeed, the newcor was Lin Xiao.

Liu Xianhe glared at Lin Xiao with a fiercely cold expression. Although it was his first ti seeing Lin Xiao in person, he had already seen pictures of him.

"Daoist Qian, the one I asked you to take care of is this piece of trash!" Liu Xianhe said coldly.

Daoist Qian’s face filled with disappointnt. "Mr. Liu, the person you want to handle is just a beggar?"

"Yes, it’s this piece of trash! He has repeatedly foiled our plans!" Liu Xianhe said, his voice seething with killing intent.

"I thought he was so kind of extraordinary figure, but it turns out he’s really just a beggar. Fine. Since you want to get rid of him, I’ll make an exception and kill him!"

"My thanks, Daoist Qian."

"Think nothing of it!"

As they spoke, Daoist Qian’s gaze fell upon Lin Xiao, his eyes instantly flashing with a ferocious killing intent. "Boy, how would you prefer to die?"

Lin Xiao paid him no mind, walking straight toward Su Qingning.

For Lin Xiao, dealing with these lowlifes would be effortless. The priority, however, was to sever the nine red threads devouring Su Qingning’s fortune and stop it from draining away.

Watching this, Liu Xianhe imdiately panicked.

"You brat, stop right there!" he roared. "Let tell you, this Daoist Qian is from the Ghost dicine Sect! If you dare touch those red threads, you won’t even have a grave to call your own!"

Lin Xiao sneered. "We’ll soon see who’s the one left without a grave today."

Liu Xianhe was even more infuriated. "Damn it, Daoist Qian! That stinking beggar is about to sever the red threads. Kill him!"

Even if Liu Xianhe hadn’t said it, Daoist Qian was well aware of Lin Xiao’s intention. Without another word, he pounced fiercely toward Lin Xiao.

Seeing this, Liu Xianhe and Liu Shaoyang were instantly ecstatic. This stinking beggar is finally going to get what he deserves.

Lin Xiao seed not to notice, having already reached Su Qingning’s side. Looking at Su Qingning’s deathly pale face, a result of her draining fortune, Lin Xiao’s anger hit its peak.

Just as he reached out to sever the threads binding Su Qingning, Daoist Qian lunged at him, as vicious as a starving wolf.

Lin Xiao let out a disdainful snort, not even bothering to turn his head. Just as Daoist Qian closed in, Lin Xiao suddenly executed a Dragon Tail Swing, viciously kicking him in the head.

BOOM!!!

The sound of an explosion erupted next to the ears of Liu Xianhe and Liu Shaoyang. Imdiately after, they watched as Daoist Qian’s head—the head of the man who had been so fierce just monts ago—suddenly exploded. That’s right, it exploded, as if soone had planted a TNT bomb inside his skull.

The scene fell deathly quiet.

The Liu father and son were completely shocked. Especially Liu Xianhe. He was so shocked his mouth hung wide enough to fit a bull.

He couldn’t help but be shocked. He had spent a fortune to hire Daoist Qian. Furthermore, he had tested the man’s strength. To say nothing of the fact that Daoist Qian was a Profound-Grade Martial Artist, his power was extraordinary. Yet such a powerful man had been killed in a single move by this stinking beggar before him.

Just how terrifying is this beggar’s strength? But he’s clearly just a stinking beggar. How could he possess such incredible cultivation?

Even having witnessed it with his own eyes, Liu Xianhe still found it hard to believe.

Without a single glance at them, Lin Xiao moved like lightning and tore away the red threads binding Su Qingning.

Su Qingning remained unconscious. Lin Xiao knew that more than half of her fortune had been siphoned away by the Nine Ghosts Transporting Fate technique. To awaken her, he had to kill Liu Shaoyang, the worthless culprit behind it all.

Lin Xiao turned to face the Liu father and son. He said, word by word, "Today, both of you will die."

Lin Xiao’s voice wasn’t loud, but to the Liu father and son, it bood like a great temple bell, deafening them. Lin Xiao’s gaze was particularly chilling. Though his face was devoid of expression, Liu Xianhe felt a bone-deep cold, as if he were being watched by the fiercest predator in the world.

However, he quickly ca to his senses. The Liu Family is a top-tier family in Jinling City, brutally powerful. How could a re beggar dare to provoke us?

At this realization, the fear in Liu Xianhe’s heart vanished. He even let out a scornful snort. "Stinking beggar, if you don’t want to die, get the hell out of here."

Lin Xiao didn’t even glance at him, nor did he say a word. With a flicker of his body, he was standing before Liu Shaoyang.

For so reason, looking at Lin Xiao’s expressionless face, Liu Shaoyang suddenly felt a sense of dread. A fear he had never known before. He scrambled to get off the bed, but Lin Xiao gave him no such chance.

With lightning speed, he seized Liu Shaoyang’s neck. The sensation of suffocation overwheld him, and Liu Shaoyang’s entire body trembled. He tried to struggle, but Lin Xiao’s grip only tightened.

BOOM!!!

The sight made Liu Xianhe’s scalp tingle with horror. He couldn’t help but bellow, "Stinking beggar, let go of my son!"

Lin Xiao acted as if he hadn’t heard. The hand on Liu Shaoyang’s neck exerted sudden force.

CRACK.

A soft crack echoed through the clubhouse courtyard. The next second, Liu Shaoyang’s eyes closed forever.

BOOM!!!

Liu Xianhe collapsed to the ground. His face turned ashen, and his eyes grew hollow and vacant, as if his very life force had been drained from him.

At that mont, streams of an invisible energy began to swarm frantically toward Su Qingning’s body. But Lin Xiao could see it. He knew this was her fortune returning.

He walked straight up to Liu Xianhe.

Liu Xianhe trembled inexplicably and snapped back to his senses. "Kid, what do you think you’re doing?"

"Sending you to et your son," Lin Xiao said, his voice glacial.

Liu Xianhe roared, "Damn it, kid! I dare you to touch !" He refused to believe this stinking beggar would dare to lay a hand on him, the head of the Liu Family.

"Fine!"

Lin Xiao’s foot crushed his head.

The world went silent.

Lin Xiao saw that most of the fortune siphoned from Su Qingning had returned. Moreover, the color was returning to her deathly pale face. He picked her up and carried her out of the clubhouse.

More than a dozen corpses lay at the entrance. Lin Xiao didn’t even spare them a glance. He simply placed Su Qingning in the car and drove away.

After they had been driving for a mont, Su Qingning finally opened her eyes.

"Where... where is this?" she asked weakly.

Looking at Su Qingning’s stunningly gorgeous face, Lin Xiao felt a mix of anger and heartache. He was angry because she had clearly promised him she wouldn’t co to the Rose Clubhouse, but she had co anyway. His heart ached for the ordeal she had suffered.

"Do you rember what happened?" Lin Xiao asked.

As soon as he said this, Su Qingning’s beautiful eyes instantly reddened. Of course, she rembered.

She had arrived at the Rose Clubhouse as agreed. She had just seen Liu Shaoyang when, before she could utter a single word, several large n jumped out from nowhere. Without a word, they tried to kidnap her. In her panic, she took out her phone to call Lin Xiao. But she had only managed to say a single sentence before her phone was snatched away. Afterwards, she was tied to a bed. No matter how much she struggled, it was useless. Then, she lost consciousness.

Now, recalling all this, Su Qingning still trembled with lingering fear.

Seeing her silence, Lin Xiao said, annoyed, "You clearly promised you wouldn’t co to the Liu Family’s clubhouse. Why did you co back on your word?"

Su Qingning heard the anger in Lin Xiao’s voice. Her eyes reddened with grievance. Her voice trembling, she said, "Because I didn’t want you to get into trouble!"
