Lin Xiao was amused. It was the first ti he had ever heard her say sothing like that.

"Hmph, you sweet-talker!" Su Qingning chided playfully.
Despite her words, her heart felt as sweet as honey.
"Have you eaten yet?" Lin Xiao asked again.

When the group reached him, Cheng Shaoshang pointed at Lin Xiao and announced with a laugh, "Co, co, you animals! Let introduce you to a badass miracle doctor, Lin Xiao! He saved Xiang Xue's grandfather with a single needle. His dical skills are nothing short of divine!"
This was no exaggeration. Several of the rich kids imdiately began showering him with praise.
However, one person remained silent. A handso young man in the crowd did not join the chorus of flattery. Although he didn't answer directly, it was a tacit admission.
Lin Xiao didn't answer his question either, instead posing one of his own. "What is Huang Xingcheng to you?"
"He's my older brother. Why?" the other replied arrogantly.
Lin Xiao smiled. "No reason. Let's go in. The ladies are getting impatient."
Cheng Shaoshang slung an arm around Lin Xiao's shoulder, grinning. "Brother, Huang Xingdong is just a prick. Don't pay him any mind!"
Lin Xiao calmly removed Cheng Shaoshang's hand from his shoulder. He scoffed dismissively, "Why would I? He's just a piece of trash, not even worth my ti."
That remark struck a nerve. Huang Xingdong instantly exploded.
"Fuck! You stinking beggar, who the hell are you calling trash?"
"Whoever answers, that's who I'm talking to."
"Fuck, are you looking to die? So damn beggar from who knows where dares to act tough in our Shengjing? Who the hell do you think you are!" Huang Xingdong roared.
Lin Xiao shot him a cold glance. "You know, your words are really starting to piss off. How about this: get on your knees and kowtow a few tis. If I'm in a good mood, I might just let this slide."
Those words were like gasoline poured on the fire in Huang Xingdong's heart. He instantly looked like a cornered, enraged beast. Staring at Lin Xiao, his fury was palpable.
