On the wooden table, two bento boxes were opened.

Today, Enola had prepared Shiayar a breakfast of egg roll pancakes with winter lon and pork rib soup.

Such distinctive dishes were originally not found on the Western Continent. It was only because Enola knew Shiayar enjoyed these flavors that she went out of her way to learn to make these unique dishes from Shiayar's hotown.

Though she still had no idea where exactly this so-called hotown cuisine that Shiayar talked about originated.

"How does it taste?"

Enola didn't start eating herself but instead sat at the table, watching Shiayar take a big bite of the egg roll pancake.

"I know you don't like cucumbers, so I replaced the cucumber strips in the roll with lettuce, and also changed the condints to your preferred savory taste."

"Dude, I just love this strong flavor! You're the perfect magical little chef!" Shiayar said while eating, giving a thumbs-up. "Please make sure to prepare miso soup for every morning from now on."

The blonde girl tilted her head, her pale golden hair cascading over the edge of the table.

Having been with Shiayar for so long, she had gotten used to him occasionally uttering nonsensical words and even managed to catch most of his jokes.

For example, she understood the implied aning behind Shiayar's words, which was essentially another way of saying, "Please marry ."

She blinked her beautiful sky-blue eyes and nodded. "Okay."

She isn't running away blushing?

It seems that last night truly made this young lady grow up.

Now it was Shiayar's turn to be taken aback.

"On How Cute It Can Be When Tsundere Loses Pride and Keeps Just the Cute."

He quickly finished his egg roll pancake and, while spooning up the winter lon and pork rib soup, watched Ennie silently pull out a bottle of alchemy serum from her tote bag.

"What did you buy that thing for?"

Shiayar naturally recognized the item—labeled "Safety Secret dicine" but clearly understood as a "contraceptive potion"—and couldn't help but ask.

"Just a safety precaution," Enola replied stoically as she unscrewed the cap.

Just as she was about to drink it, she paused at Shiayar's voice and looked at him.

She suddenly rembered Shiayar's delirious sleep-talking, which she had captured on an Image Capture Crystal: "Ennie, let's have a whole football team!"

Could it be that it wasn't just so delirious dream talk, but his true thoughts?

But the number for a football team was just... too much.

The blonde girl hesitated for an uncharacteristically long mont before approaching Shiayar.

She was very clear about Shiayar's background.

Although they were both the last survivors from Northern Territory Ceylon, as the only child of the "Winter Flower" Ingritt family, she had led a relatively good life before the great fire that destroyed Ceylon.

As the daughter of the Count of Austere Winter, even though she couldn't speak of luxury in the small and remote area of Ceylon, she had at least never worried about food or clothing since birth and had also enjoyed a complete family and her parents' love.

But Shiayar was different.

He had been an orphan since his earliest mories, and the old hunter from the Northern Territory had only taught him for a few years before passing away.

From a very young age, until he t Enola, Shiayar had always been alone.

Although Shiayar never voluntarily revealed it... such a bleak childhood could very well have given him an excessive fixation on family.

Thinking this, Enola spoke softly, "If you really want that... it's not like it's entirely impossible."

"You've got the wrong idea, girl."

"I'm only eighteen and not that desperate, unlike that white-bearded captain."

With just a glance, Shiayar knew the girl had once again let her thoughts stray off course, and he spoke to interrupt her.

"Besides, I don't have any excess supernatural characteristics I urgently need to discharge to avoid losing control. As for offspring, let's at least wait until we both break through to the Legendary Rank, or even reach the Throne."

He helplessly rubbed his forehead. "I was talking about sothing else."

"Is there a possibility that what we did last night... wouldn't actually hit the bullseye, and therefore wouldn't result in any offspring?"

A blush that couldn't be concealed instantly appeared on the blonde girl's usually frosty cheeks.

After a long while, she finally spoke with feigned calmness, "I've read in many books that as soon as the fluid exchange for mana replenishnt is complete, conception is very likely."

"We exchanged fluids several tis last night..."

"What kind of strange little magazines have you been reading?"

Shiayar once again rubbed his forehead.

"While it's true that fluid exchange is necessary for reproduction, it also has to replenish mana in the right place; just using mouths isn't enough."

He touched his little wife's black-stockinged thigh and whispered by her crimson ear, "Actually, there's another, more common safety asure. Should we try it soti..."

...

WHOOSH.

Suddenly, space shattered.

Utilizing the cluster of Sands of Ti in his spiritual sea, which shone as brightly as a sea of stars, Shiayar clearly sensed the River of Ti in the surrounding area montarily ripple before returning to normal.

Following this, a letter brimming with radiant starlight quietly materialized before Shiayar, seemingly out of thin air.

Another letter?

Shiayar was slightly taken aback.

He was familiar with this thod of delivering letters. It seed similar to how his Golden Elf Instructor's Pet Beast operated, capable of traversing the Spirit Realm, the Astral Realm, and the Main Material Plane, ignoring worldly barriers.

However, compared to his Golden Elf Instructor's Star-Casting Beast, which could travel freely between the Spirit Realm, the Astral Realm, and the Main Material Plane, this letter sender's thod seed rather unrefined. Shiayar could detect certain clues even with his current Rank.

To move freely through the Astral Realm, one must be a Legendary. Judging by this standard, it was likely an ordinary Legendary...

Shiayar had just made his judgnt when the radiance of the Sacred Spear suddenly flared.

A colossal sense of mystery, carrying a sharp and cold spear light! The pure silver lance's gleam tore through the boundary, in an instant piercing both the Astral Realm and the Main Material Plane.

SHLICK.

That was the sound of adamantine light piercing flesh.

From deep within the Astral Realm, a muffled groan was heard, clearly from soone who hadn't expected Enola, a being whose aura indicated she had just broken through to the 6-Ring level, to unleash such a potent attack.

Empowered by the Sacred Spear, she had actually managed to directly injure him, a Legendary being.

And it was this montary pause, caused by the injury due to carelessness.

The next mont, a dim yellow halo dispersed.

The congealing twilight froze most of the sky, along with the cracks spreading out from the void.

Shiayar once again heard Silvia's ancient chanting, which sounded like the clash of steel and bronze.

The clear voice of a young girl echoed in the halted world.

The word ant: "Extinction."

Less than a ten-thousandth of a second later, the twilight's brilliance shattered.

Through the barrier between the Astral Realm and the Main Material Plane, which had briefly thinned in this location, Shiayar heard a desolate scream from the depths of the illusory Astral Realm.

A few breaths later, the thinned world barrier once again beca solid and thick, and the illusory Astral Realm also vanished from sight.

As the world barrier healed once more, the white-robed witch quietly materialized in the room, standing gracefully beside Shiayar.

Silvia looked out the window with her pale silver eyes, yet her gaze seed to transcend the two realms, landing directly in the distant Astral Realm.

Pale golden script erged in midair.

'The visitor was an ordinary Legendary. I have used a magic word to strip away all their life force. Under normal circumstances, they will die within ten minutes.'

'However, another ancient Demigod from the depths of the Astral Realm intervened afterward and took the corpse away. Perhaps there are thods to reinfuse the body with life and resurrect it.'

Silvia's delicate brows furrowed slightly.

'That Demigod felt very ancient to , quite possibly an old geezer left over from the last Era.'

'But no matter what, it will be at least ten years before they can recover their Legendary Rank combat capabilities.'

So, you two just incapacitated a Legendary in those few breaths?

The combat prowess of my leading lady and my little wife is a bit off the charts...

Shiayar couldn't help but wipe his sweat.

"I get the feeling... that apart from peeking at through the Astral Realm for a bit, they didn't seem to have much actual malice."

"Maybe, they were really just a ssenger..."

'rely spying without revealing oneself is already a sign of malice.'

'If they hadn't lacked killing intent earlier, their corpse would already be dust in the Astral Realm.'

Pale golden script appeared.

Silvia's gaze remained fixed in the direction of the Astral Realm, her pale silver eyes still icy.

She had been eavesdropping on the room next door since early morning. When she saw the Safety Secret dicine in Enola's hands, she was so angry she'd ground her teeth.

Although she later found out from eavesdropping that Ennie had just made a silly mistake due to her lack of biological knowledge, the frustration from being a sourpuss for a whole day and night had nowhere to go.

As luck would have it... she happened to catch soone spying on Brother Shiayar through the Astral Realm, so this unlucky soul imdiately beca the target for her pent-up frustration.

Shiayar felt sowhat embarrassed.

He himself actually preferred to plan carefully before acting and wasn't that keen on fighting. Dealing superficially with enemies to extract information and benefits... even infiltrating their ranks to wait for a chance to defect, were all routine for him.

But he found that the won around him, despite their various differences, were mostly the fiercely violent type—the epito of violent aesthetics.

Ennie, naturally, needed no further ntion—a 100% pure, iron-fisted main wife type, straight out of an apocalyptic tale.

As for Her Royal Highness, after their ti together in the Echo of History, it was clear this Sacred Sword wielder was also synonymous with charging headfirst into battle alone; her title of Knight King was no empty boast.

Not to ntion his Golden Elf Instructor... the only known combat record of the "Eternal Page" of the Black Tower was when she once tore apart a fully ford Stars Titan with her bare hands during the Calamity Land era.

As for Silvia, back when she was young, she still had so of the naive innocence of a young, inexperienced girl...

But before he knew it, five hundred years had passed, and his leading lady had turned into a walking Death Note. In front of outsiders, she had only spoken two sentences in total, and two Legendaries had died as a result.

The only one whose Intellect stat might be higher than her Combat Power stat was probably Su Lun.

But Shiayar carefully considered Su Lun's identity as a chanic and her strength, enough to secure the position of Dawn Saintess. If it ca to a real fight, she was probably a Black Star lineage chanic who'd put all her points into constitution and tanking ability.

What's with this damned, yet overwhelming sense of security?

Shiayar sighed softly.

Although he was very focused on improving his own combat abilities—his latest Black Knight Gundam form, achieved through "Colossal Armant," could even take on a Legendary head-on—sohow, it felt like he still couldn't escape the fate of being protected by a group of gung-ho wives and fierce won, comfortably living off them.

Lost in thought, Shiayar's gaze fell upon the letter on the wooden table.

Specks of starlight converged on the letter's cover, imprinting an emblem of the World Tree—half decayed, half flourishing.

Shiayar arched his eyebrows.

He recognized this mark; not long ago, Isadella and Silvia had just explained it to him.

"Golden Dawn."
