Gu Shiting glanced sideways at his sister, Gu Shiyan pretended not to see it.
"No plans after dinner, heading straight ho." Sheng Tang answered Gu Shiyan’s question, breaking the silent tension between the siblings.
Gu Shiyan: "...."
As expected, Gu Shiting hadn’t even planned any follow-up activities, yet he dared to call it a date!
Luckily, big sister is here!
Sister will help you, even though you’re such an ungrateful brat.
"It’s rare to go out, and you’re dressed so beautifully today, let’s go out and have so fun." Gu Shiyan said, "How about going to an amusent park?"
Sheng Tang: "In the middle of winter, we’re going to an amusent park to suffer?"
Gu Shiyan: "..."
Completely oblivious to any charm. Sheng Tang is really sothing.
"Then how about watching a movie?" Gu Shiyan asked again, "There’s a film festival going on recently, it ends tomorrow, and filmmakers from all over the country are here."
Sheng Tang: "Crowded places, senior brother can’t stand it, so forget it."
Under the table, Gu Shiting kicked his sister, signaling her to hurry up and leave, not to co up with more bad ideas.
Trying very hard, Gu Shiyan couldn’t think of anything that would satisfy both Sheng Tang and her brother, so she had to give up.
At the next table, Zheng Weiwei and Shi Yunjun had been eavesdropping on their conversation the entire ti.
As it was about to end, Shi Yunjun ca over to say hello, and the two tables settled the bill and left together.
"Miss Lan Fei, let’s have tea another day." Shi Yunjun handed over a business card.
Gu Shiyan took it and smiled, "Sure."
She’s quite good-tempered in public.
Zheng Weiwei also handed her a business card, "Miss Lan Fei, if there’s an opportunity, I’d like to collaborate with you on a film."
Lan Fei knew of this well-known Screenwriter Zheng, who had co to S City from Beijing, looking to leverage Lan Fei’s local fa.
She accepted it as well, saying, "Screenwriter Zheng, I’m honored. Let’s have a al and discuss it further soti."
She also gave them her manager Dai Ning’s business card.
Frank and straightforward, Zheng Weiwei imdiately took a liking to Lan Fei upon eting, and they chatted all the way out.
"Is this your sister?" Zheng Weiwei interjected, glancing at Sheng Tang beside him.
Gu Shiyan smiled very happily, "Yes, don’t we look like sisters?"
Zheng Weiwei looked carefully, they didn’t look particularly alike but both had very beautiful faces.
However, the young boy next to them bore so resemblance to Lan Fei.
"Not particularly." Zheng Weiwei said honestly.
Gu Shiyan laughed, "Not my real sister, she’s my future sister-in-law, just like my own sister."
Zheng Weiwei and Shi Yunjun understood.
Shi Yunjun then rembered the young boy saying his household chef was better than the restaurant’s chef, he thought the boy was bragging, but now realized he might have been telling the truth.
Lan Fei’s family background suggested this boy must be from a top elite family.
The most prominent elite family in S City was none other than the Huishi Gu Family.
Shi Yunjun glanced at Gu Shiting again.
Gu Shiting didn’t look at anyone else, his gaze focused solely on the girl, sincere and gentle.
Aside from Sheng Tang, his eyes held no one else.
At this mont, Gu Shiting finally thought his sister was a bit cuter and didn’t feel the urge to kick her away.
And Sheng Tang, understanding social norms best, knew outsiders wouldn’t care about their relationship; any explanation would only make Lan Fei embarrassed.
She smiled silently.
Seeing this, Gu Shiting assud she had tacitly agreed and lightly held her hand.
Sheng Tang thought he was scared in the elevator, so she let him hold it.
Hand in hand, the two were the sweetest little couple.
