"YES!" Tracy exclaid said jealously. "Why are you so lucky with magical creatures? First it was Steve and then Dusk and now you are riding on a kelpie like it's a normal thing to do!" Tracy said in frustration. Nick chuckled "You probably want to add a manticore , unicorn and thestrals to that list." he said with a grin making her stare at him speechless. "You've t a manticore? Was it a boy?" Hagrid asked with interest. "There is a manticore acting as the guardian of my island but it's female , why?" Nick asked curiously.-
"Ah , it's nothing much just that I've been looking for a mate for the female manticore in the forbidden forest , Akasha. Still never'd have thought you'd have one working for ya." Hagrid said honestly impressed. "Hold up! You have an island?" Ron asked in astonishnt. Nick nodded "yeah It's got my ancestral mansion on it as well as a bunch of rare plants and magical creatures. I didn't think it mattered honestly." he said with shrug. "Bloody hell , that's nuts." Ron said enviously. "You do realize that Harry's got nearly the sa amount of stuff right?" Nick asked seriously.-
"What do you an?" Harry asked confused since he couldn't rember owning anything impressive at all save the contents of his vault. "You are the last mber of the ancient house Potter. A vault full of money is by no ans all that falls under your na. The Potters own no less than six potion shops and several ingredient farms not to ntion the ancestral ho that has been abandoned since your grandparents on your fathers side died." Nick explained sternly. "Really!?" Harry exclaid in astonishnt but Nick scoffed. "I have no reason to lie to you or keep such an easily findable thing secret." he said slightly offended.-
"Bliy Harry you're rich!" Ron said excitedly. "Sorry to break it to you Ron but literally everyone here other than you is rich , even Hermione." Nick said honestly. Ron looked at Hermione in disbelief but she rely looked away awkwardly. He then looked at Luna but she smiled and shook her head to show she was also included in that. It was only at this point Ron realized all of his friends were loaded and didn't care that he wasn't. Sure he technically already knew this but it had never been directly pointed out until now.-
After that Ron was a little more appreciative of his friends for the next hour until he forgot about this whole conversation during a heated ga of wizards chess. Nick anwhile hung out with his friends for the rest of the day in his workshop. The week following that was fairly normal with the regular town sacrifice being pretty much the only exception. 'Maybe I should take a look at Chronos's book to see if he knows sothing about what these sacrifices were for.' Nick thought after reading that headline about the towns being sacrificed again.-
Letting his friends know he was going to be busy for the weekend on Friday he waited impatiently for the system to show up again since today was the day. He hadn't crafted any rings in an entire week and was itching to get back to it as he felt like he was wasting ti. Celebrimbor had told him that he needn't be worried about crafting without the system since he had the knowledge and ability even without it but Nick didn't want to risk it. Instead of crafting he had been mastering his magical control with Helena who was already back to her peak according to her.-
After mastering the level of control necessary to light the candle with a thread of fla across the room he had to then do the sa thing with three threads of fire. This training would only increase in difficulty as ti passed and his skill rose since his magical power would never stop growing so long as he was alive. At the mont he had enough mastery of his mana to skillfully use his current full reserves which ant in his eyes that it was ti to assimilate the goblets energy that the Nazgul ring had long since finished extracting.-
'I have already taken care of three of the horcrux's and only need to get the ring and Harry assuming the slimy bastard doesn't push up the ti table for Nagini's addition to the list. The ring I can get over the sumr but Harry is much more tricky. If I don't do this just right he might die or worse go ntally retarded.' Nick thought as he waited for the system. Like promised the mont midnight struck a familiar sound went off in his head and a ssage was displayed. [System evolution complete!]
