Chapter 495 – 495. Hogwarts et-up

At Buckingham Palace, Magnus invited the graduates of Hogwarts to the dining hall. Draco and Harry were there too, both of the boys had graduated from the school in 97 and now worked around.
Draco was a good potioneer thanks to having a great potioneer father. Plus Narcissa was his mother, she was very strict about his studies. By now, Draco had already found out about his father from various sources that were not his mother. In fact, Draco asked Severus about it.
Magnus rembers that day when Draco, Narcissa and Severus ca to his office to talk to him. Draco wanted to talk to Magnus. He asked him right away why he killed his father and was there no way to stop him.
Instead of talking, Magnus went ahead and showed him everything in the pensieve. "You want to know about your father? Why did I kill him? Why did your mother stay silent? Here, look at all my mories then. But first of all, tell , do you know who Voldemort was and what he did?"
Draco nodded, "He was a blood supremacist terrorist who killed innocent wizards and tried to rule the wizarding world, enslave the muggle population."
"True, now look at all this. From my first to the last encounter related to Lucius Malfoy," Magnus poured a mory strand into the water in the basin.
Draco subrged his head in it. mories started to show up. From the first day Magnus t him, when Lucius bickered with him on the train, then tried to woo him to join him. Then trying to recruit him for Voldemort led to the first magical battle and Magnus destroyed his bones.
Then Lucius' father died while trying to enter rlin's vault. Then Lucius tried to kill Magnus multiple tis. After school, he joined Voldemort, went on many raids to kill muggles and wizards, tried to kill Magnus again and got served by Severus after he kidnapped Severus' mother.
Then finally, there were short snippets of scenes that Magnus originally saw in Narcissa's mories, where Lucius assaulted her on the first night. Of course, it was not as graphic this ti. But the ssage was clear, Lucius treated Narcissa like his bed slave and only wanted a son so Voldemort could use him. Then finally, Lucius tried to kill Magnus, in return, he got killed. The story ca to an end with Narcissa pleading with Magnus for help.
Magnus showed all things that could make Draco hate Lucius, it was important. *SPLASH*
When Draco got up, his face seed angered, he cursed, "He was such an asshole and… THAT BASTARD! He hurt my mother and grandma(Severus mother),"
Draco turned to Narcissa, her eyes tearful. He quickly hugged her. Then glanced at Severus, "Thank you. I couldn't have lived with Malfoy as an addition to my na. It disgusts ."
He hugged Severus too. The entire group hugged, including Severus and Narcissa's daughter, Magnesia, which they nad to honour Magnus, their friend, the one who changed their lives for the better.

Back in the dinner hall, Magnus noticed a ginger-curly-haired girl being particularly excited about eting him. She was supposed to be Harry's girlfriend, Hermione Granger. She was also called big sis by Athena. He knew about her because Emma inford him, that a muggle-born girl who was at the top of school grades was helping Athena study in the school.
So he let her sit beside himself, "It's an honour to be eting you, your majesty. I have been waiting for this day for so long now."
"Haha, I am glad people are still as excited about this. So, what made you want to et ?" He asked her.
"I… I admire everything that you have done. From the ti you were just nine years old and saved your school friends until now when you went to Mars. You have changed the whole world with your strategies, bringing countries together. I heard you were also behind the fall of the USSR, stopping Israel and Palestine, India and Pakistan tensions. You are the one who has made the UK so powerful and rich. You are behind everything that the world is today.
"I want to be like you soday." She babbled nonstop and by the end, she was panting, she probably felt this was the last ti she would see him.
He passed her a glass of water, "Calm down, child. What is your plan? How will you bring a change to the world?"
"I will beco the first muggle woman minister for magic." She revealed her plans.
"But it's a position that's always under my influence, why would you want to beco soone who can't make all the decisions on her own?" Magnus interrogated her.
"Umm… why would I complain? Your leadership has been great all this ti. If I beco the minister under you then that ans I will get all the experience from you, the way you make decisions and such. You even brought rights to goblins, elfs, werewolves and vampires. That's so noble of you," she went nonstop about his achievents.
"You and Harry are 20, right? Are you two planning on getting married in the future?" Magnus asked her, imdiately shutting her up. It was a technique he had learned from watching his mum shut Ragnar and other siblings. After all, the triplets were 27 years old at this stage.
She went red in embarrassnt, "We have decided to get married at the age of 25. For now, we both want to focus on our work, I want to beco the Minister For Magic and Harry wants to beco the captain of the English quidditch team."
"Well, Eugenia is going to retire next year, if you can sohow gain enough influence in the Ministry, you have my blessing to beco the Minister. Take my advice, go after Moody, there is no one who has more influence than him." He advised her. But what she didn't know was that this was as good as the final seal of approval to her becoming the Minister. She was already working in the Ministry under Eugenia, who has asked Magnus to evaluate her.
Hermione beca excited, "R-Really? Sir? But I will just be 21."
Magnus chortled, "Age is nothing, Miss Granger. I beca King at the age of 18, had a daughter at 23 and so much more that happened behind the scenes. If anything, you being young and having enough talent to beco the minister shows how promising you are.
"Today, becoming the Minister for Magic is just the first stage. Next, there are agencies like the European Wizarding Federation, International Confederation of Wizards. You can beco their chiefs if you do good. So, good luck and I hope you achieve greatness.
"Now, let go and embarrass Harry about you," he patted her head and skipped to another table.
The table Harry and Draco sat at was shared by two more boys, who seem older and were twins. Both had mischievous smiles on their faces.
"Hello, kids. Are you enjoying the evening?" Magnus took a seat.
But, the four boys had a shocked face. Especially the twins. Magnus smirked, "You two must be the twins, Fred and George. Do you think that old fart prank will work on ?"
George's eyes widened, "H-How did… Ugh!"
"It was advance version… Ah!" Fred's face also contorted like his brother's.
Suddenly so poop slling greenish goo fell from their mouths. They quickly spit it on their plates.
Magnus smirked, "There's a line in a book by C.S Lewis. "Do not cite the Deep Magic to , Witch! I was there when it was written." It basically ans in this case as "You tried to prank ? God or pranks?" Haha…"
At that, Magnus got up to leave, "Enjoy the evening, now everything you will eat will taste like cat poop for the day. Draco and Harry, you better move if you don't want to sll cat poop."

Soon, the two twins were left alone as they blinked in defeat. Shocked that the old king fooled them, but again, they reckoned this was why he was the king and they were little peasants.

"So, what have you two decided on doing, sons?" Magnus asked Draco and Harry.
"I want to be a quidditch player, uncle," Harry responded.
"Hm, that's all good, I heard you were good at Quidditch. But, you need to make money, there is not much money on Quidditch unless you make it into the A group. I advise you to invest your money in so Gringotts sche. At least it won't just sit in your vault." He advised him, as he knew Jas Potter and his now-dead parents left a lot of wealth to Harry and Lily.
anwhile, Draco had bigger dreams, "I will join your Dragon Service, uncle. With this, I can help you manage the world and truly make a difference."
Magnus appreciated it, "Well, for that you will have to give an interview to your uncle Tonks. He's the chief of Dragon Service. I will call him and tell him you want to join. But rember, he will not go easy on you just because you are family,"
Sternly, Draco shook his head, "I don't want him to go easy. If I fail, I will just try to improve and try again. This is my dream, I will fulfil it no matter what."
Magnus ruffled his hair, annoying him a bit, "Good lad, that's the spirit. Now, let's go and enjoy the party."
