Chapter 355: Holiday
21st December 1975.
It was the day when Sony’s Board mbers and the CEO realised that they fucked up big ti, no matter whom they hired, be it Yakuza, Russian mafia, Chinese mafia or even freelancing wizard assassins, nobody accepted the assignnt to kill the whistleblower, all saying that the man was under DA’s protection and they don’t ss with DA.
Next, Sony’s CEO got a call from the CEO of Toshiba, who told him about his own experience with Magnus when he ssed it up by fighting Adam’s battery patents and sent assassins. He just told the man, “You’re fucked.”
After that, everyone fell into their place and all beca a puppet for Ted to control.
However, it was also the day when an extrely violent man was assassinated. His na was Idi Amin, the de facto military dictator of Uganda. He took over in 1971 through a coup. He destroyed the constitution and the courts and gave himself the power to pass a decree.
His rise was violent, but his rule was more savage. Like every dictator, there must always be one part of their country on which they can put all the bla on. Like how Hitler did with Jews. Idi Amin declared that the reason Uganda was in a bad shape was because of Asians.
Most of these Asians were Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshi. Back during colonial rule, the British brought people as slaves from the British Raj to build roads and train tracks in Uganda. These people never left, and truly, nearly 60% of the influential businesses were owned by Asians.
It was easy for Idi to bla them. Then, one morning in 1973, he went to the national radio station and addressed the nation. In this, he said “I see Asians are milking a cow, and they are not feeding it. Asians are responsible for today’s Uganda.”
And then followed hate cris, r*pes and murders, eventually leading to the expulsion of all Asians. What happens when all the people who were experienced in running businesses are thrown away? Inflation. Yet, the west stayed silent mostly, including the United Kingdom. Idi killed hundreds of thousands of people in recent years, most caught up in vague accusations of being anti-governnt.
Eventually, the man received many nas, Butcher of Uganda, Butcher of Africa, Butcher of Kampala, Black Hitler and many more. Amin’s rule was characterised by rampant human rights abuses, including political repression, ethnic persecution and extrajudicial killings, as well as nepotism, corruption, and gross economic mismanagent.
Then, one of the most powerful n in East Africa, the Anglican archbishop was murdered by Amin. When people saw through it and didn’t like it, chances of an open rebellion beca clear.
So, to divert attention, Amin waged a war on Tanzania, for no reason at all. By now, Magnus had consolidated his control over most of southern Africa. South Africa was amazing now, with no ethnic tension like before. Greater Britain (Zimbabwe) was on the road to becoming an economic powerhouse.
To keep Zimbabwe safe, it was important to keep the neighbouring country safe, stable and under the pocket. So, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana and South Africa went through a process of getting their political sphere purged of all corruption and evil. They were now strongly affected by Greater Britain.
So, when Tanzania was attacked, a neighbour of Mozambique, an important country for Zimbabwe, the Dragon Service decided that the man had to go. They broke into Idi Amin’s palace at night, caught him and all his high-level supporters, brought in a few loyal n to announce that Uganda was saved, Idi Amin was caught and will be trialled for cris. A long list was given to the people.
Then, he was executed on 21st December. Like this, Magnus now controlled Uganda’s Politics as well. This was his agenda, he was not going to rule countries, only make sure their political circles stay free of any madness, were pro-democracy and pro-developnt.
Currently, Magnus’ Dragon Service had 4 Departnts. Each was responsible for one region.
1. The European Departnt was aid at making sure no new Dark Lord or Dictator rises.
2. The Asia Departnt was focused on bringing peace to India and Pakistan, tackling the Soviet Union and stopping Communism from spreading.
3. The Africa Departnt, this one’s aim was clear and most developed. It aims to turn Africa into an economic powerhouse.
4. South Arica was the toughest region to crack due to the United States. The plan was to do what Magnus was doing with Africa.
This was what he needed to fulfil his and rlin’s dream of a peaceful and happy world.

Magnus arrived at his office at Dragon Holdings. KGB agent Vladimir Putin was waiting for him there. He quickly called him in.
Magnus noticed that the man looked really young, most likely in his early 20s. It was strange for such a young man to be given such important tasks. It showed that this guy was promising.
Putin eyed him with a strange interest as if trying to read the mind of this young king. He took a seat and spoke in a Russian accent, “It’s a pleasure to et you, Mr Pendragon.”
“I don’t even know you, so I won’t say it’s a pleasure. I am on my holiday, so tell why I should listen to you?” Magnus asked him straightforwardly.
“I have co to deliver this to you, a statent from the General Secretary.” Putin gave him the envelope.
Magnus read it with no care at all, “Bla bla bla… do not damage our interests… bla bla bla… we will damage yours if you don’t stop. Sincerely.”
Magnus uninterestedly tore the letter apart, “Man, tell your Commie General Secretary, EAT SHIT! I am not afraid of the Soviet Union, and if you force , I will kill every single party mber of yours without you people even finding out. Oh wait, you guys are communists, corruption is second nature of your party workers. Hmm, I certainly have enough money to make you guys poison each other,”
Putin’s brows twitched, but he kept his patience, “I understand, Mr Pendragon, I shall tell them what you said word to word.”
“Nice, I’m heading ho then.” Magnus got up to leave.
Putin, however, stopped him, “Wait, Mr Pendragon, that was just official business, I ca here for sothing else. For more than half a century, we have tried communism, and we have failed pretty spectacularly.
“The current state of the Soviet Union is not good either, we have been defeated by the United States but don’t want to acknowledge it. Communism has failed nearly every country it took over as none are richer now. While Japan, South Korea and the likes are booming with economic activity. So I have a proposal for you.”
Magnus sat back with a smile, “Hmm… Interesting. Elaborate then.”

Well, the eting with Putin was surprising but good. But Magnus forgot about that as soon as December 24th ca.
The whole family dressed up and headed to Calot. For Emma, this was their first ti heading there. “Emma, this is the portkey, say the word with us.”
“Big brother Mag, pick …” Aurelia and Clentia requested him.
Lovingly, he picked them in his arms and hugged them tightly, “Okay, hold big brother tight. Mum, did you pack all the gifts?”
“It’s all ready and packed, honey. Adam, why are you locking the doors, we have so many security personnel outside.” Grace called her husband.
Adam scolded back, “Moody told to keep constant vigilance, I’m just doing that.”
“Ah, his madness is spreading,” Ragnar comnted tiredly.
“Okay everyone, put your hand on the Portkey.” Magnus hurried.
*WOOSH*
Imdiately, the big family appeared inside the enclosed portkey room in Calot. Until now, Emma was confused, but Magnus then grabbed her hand and dragged her to the highest balcony.
“WELCO TO CALOT! The secret Island of rlin and King Arthur. I own it all. A lot of different beast species live here with harmony, Goblins, Centaurs and Vela tribes are also prominent here and consider their sovereign. The outer world can not enter this place without my permission and nor can they see this place with satellites.” Magnus revealed excitedly.
Mouth agape, Emma looked at the giant city under, soon she realised it was not a city but just a part of the castle. *RAAAAA*
She scaredly grabbed Magnus’ hand, “What was that?”
Magnus chuckled and didn’t answer. To Emma’s horror, a giant dragon landed in front of them. “Wha… What… Run, Magnus.”
He laughed, “Hahaha… Emma, et Duck aka Annihilus Grant Emrys Pendragon. He is my son, my cute boy.”
“Who is she, dad? Her eyes are pretty.” Duck asked curiously.
“Well, this is Emma Vanity, I am dating her.” He introduced.
Duck, with interest, brought his big head close to her and sniffed, “Then… YOU ARE MY MOM?”

“Ah… n-no… Duck… don’t…” Magnus raised his finger to stop Duck from embarrassing him more.
“I LOVE YOU, DUCK!” but Emma, as if all her fear was fake, suddenly jumped and hugged Duck’s head.
Duck too enjoyed and giggled, “Hehe, I love you too.”
~What the hell… they befriended each other faster than puppies.~ Magnus muttered in his head and signed in defeat.
