Chapter 354: One Man’s Loss, Another’s Opportunity
[A/N: Magnus and Shiroken’s conversation took place in Naruto fic’s chapter 177. On *******, these chaps of two fics ca together but there is so space between them on here.]
“And I hope you grow stronger and are able to bring peace and equality to the world.” Shiroken reciprocated and shook the hand.
*BAM*
As soon as they touched, the world blacked out and everything disappeared. Magnus opened his eyes and found himself in his bed. Morning sunlight was falling on his face from the window. Chad was still snuggling beside him and hiding his face away from the light, Sumr was sitting on his chest and sleeping.
~What a strange man. Did you see all that, rlin?~ he asked.
“See what? You were sleeping.” rlin from the bead inquired.
*Sigh* “Nothing, I just had a really strange and wholeso dream. Well, now I know what I must do to make the world better.” He got up excitedly. He had no idea if this Shiroken guy was real or just an idea of his mind, he still thanked for the wisdom he received from the guy.
“OWWW!” Chad complained to Magnus for moving too much.
“Boy, you’re getting too comfortable in the bed. And it’s morning, ti to wake up.” He patted Chad’s cubby head.
Getting out of bed, he rembered that from today, he officially had a girlfriend, but at the sa ti, he felt a huge dose of cringe and embarrassnt, ~Damn, how was I able to say and do all that yesterday? Love does make one blind and stupid I guess.~
“OYE! RAG AND SEV! Wake up.” Magnus kicked his best bros on the asses and went straight to take a bath in the luxury prefect bath. There, he was congratulated by other prefects and head boys for getting a girlfriend.
Well, today, all of them were heading ho as the Christmas holidays would start. Just after the morning breakfast, all would aboard the train.
“Mr Pendragon, I want to say sothing.” All of a sudden Lockhart ca and stood in front of him.
Magnus nodded, “What? You finally realised your foolishness and now want to apologise?”
However, Lockhart scoffed and pointed his finger, “I will show you. Next year, I will find a hotter girlfriend than you. You may be good at magic, but in looks, I am the best.”
“And I am the headmaster of Hogwarts,” Magnus replied.
Bewildered, Lockhart asked, “What are you saying?”
“Well, you think you are better looking than , a pretty good thing to dream about, so I also said made-up things. Oh wait, I can actually beco the headmaster if I want, but you? Bwahaha… you can’t change your face, it’s genetic.” Magnus taunted him back.
Lockhart decided to run away, but Magnus didn’t let him be at rest, “Boy, with that attitude, no girl in this life will ever get close to you. Change that attitude, or else, I will not be easy on you next year.”
Giving that warning, he headed to his room to pack the bags. Ragnar and Severus had already woken up and left the dorm for their peasant bathroom. He flicked his wand and imdiately all his stuff packed itself. “Ah, magic is so convenient.”
“It sure is,”
All of a sudden he heard a voice behind him and arms wrapping around his neck. He chuckled, “I half expected you to be doing this. But don’t do it so much that old Dumbledore changes the rules again.”
Emma laughed and released him, only to sit on his bed and pat Chad. “I was bored after packing my stuff, so I ca here.”
“So I am your pass ti?” Magnus sounded hurt.
She chuckled and licked her lips, “And much more.”
“You are one crazy girl.” He said and lifted his bags.
She also jumped on his back, “I thought that was why you liked ?”
“Yup, already regretting it.” He blurted.
“HEY!”

The Hogwarts express was fine. Although Magnus had the privilege to sit with the head boys and prefects in a different compartnt, he decided to be with his friends. Now, the Gryffindor four rarely travelled with them since they wanted to keep a distance. Still, Sirius and Remus would co to talk every once in a while.
“So, Emma, what’s your plan this winter? Ah… wait, you have not seen my other ho, right?” Magnus realised she had not been to Calot yet.
“What second ho?” She asked.
“Hehe, you should spend Christmas with . I will be going there with my entire family. Rag will be there too, not Sev though as he will spend it with his mum. Though all of us will et the next day and have a big family lunch.” Magnus invited her.
That was all it took to convince her as her mobile phone was already in her hand and she was calling her dad, “Dad, I and Magnus have started to date officially. I will spend Christmas eve with his family, the next day, you and mum are invited to his ho for lunch.”
However, her face suddenly turned red as soon as her mum took the phone and told her to use the right protection, “I’m not a fool, mum. And that’s not going to happen anyti soon.”
She hung up to find Ragnar cheekily eying her. “What’s not happening?”
Emma knew that the bastard had understood it. “Shut your mouth if you want my new broom.”
“It’s a deal, miss Vanity.”

So, Emma decided to tag along with them. Due to security reasons, Magnus apparated to his ho with her.
“MAG… RAG!”
The three little goofballs, Maximus, Aurelia and Clentia had grown 2 years old by now. They were able to speak in broken sentences.
“Awww… my munchkins.” Magnus picked the three into a big high as they giggled and kissed his face.
Then Ragnar did the sa, even giving them safe healthy candies to gain more browny points than Magnus. There was always a state of war between the two in this aspect.
Soon, the three eyed Emma curiously, but also seed a bit scared of the strangers. So they hid behind Magnus and Ragnar’s feet.
“You three, this is my girlfriend, Emma. You saw her last year as well. Say hello to her.” He tried to refresh their mories.
“WAH! CHOCOLATE SIS!” The three exclaid as they rembered she had spoiled them.
However, Grace ca out of the kitchen running at this point as she heard him, “YOU TWO ARE DATING?”
Magnus sighed and looked at her with puppy eyes, pleading to not embarrass him, “Yes, mum. Since yesterday.”
Grace chuckled and caressed Emma’s head, “Well, I always knew it was going to be her, I’m not even surprised.”
“What’s that, mother’s instinct?” Ragnar asked her jokingly.
“No, it’s stating the obvious. They already looked like couples.” Grace replied, shutting Ragnar up with her blunt answers.
“Okay, get fresh, take a bath and co to the dinner table. Lunch is ready, I will call your dad to give the good news.” She happily skipped away.
“MOM! We are going to Grandma Martha for Christmas.” He inford her before she disappeared.
The Mansion was huge, there were plenty of empty rooms, so Magnus showed one to Emma and let her occupy it, anwhile he went to his. But, as soon as he put his ass on the bed to take so rest, his muggle business-related phone ran up. He grunted annoyedly, “What, Ted? Have you placed a tracker on that tells you the mont I reach ho?”
Ted chuckled, “No, I just got the Hogwarts Express schedule. Anyway, I needed to inform you that a man nad Vladimir Putin from the Soviet Union has co to et you. He’s a KGB agent and refuses to tell anything to us. He’s got strong ntal shields, so I think only you can read it.”
“Fine, tell him to co to my office tomorrow.” he gave the timing and was about to hang up when Ted stopped him.
“I also have really juicy news from Japan. Magnus, are you interested in buying Sony?” Ted shocked him with this offer.
“Interesting, please elaborate?” Magnus was interested now.
Ted explained everything, “Well, my secretary received a call from a guy who works as the Chief Law advisor at Sony headquarters. The man had found out that the CEO and a few powerful Board mbers were using company money for personal expenses, like buying properties around the world through a shell company.
“So, the guy went ahead to tell this to the Board, as it was his job. But he was then demoted and transferred from headquarters to US operations. Mind you, this guy was up in the chain.
“Well, it was all fine, until he got a visit from the court and a few officers, who forced into his house, terrorised his family and kids, then took his personal computers, floppy discs and so diaries. There was no court-issued search warrant. Realising he was in a deep ss, he contacted us, and then I got the news.
“I went to Japan myself, and behold, we were being tailed by the Yakuza. I asked DA to get involved and after that, we not only got all the evidence back, the whistleblower is also safe. We now have the power to destroy this company or move all Board mbers like our pawns.”
Magnus thought about it for a second and asked, “How much did they embezzle?”
“The company is worth 11 Billion dollars. They have cheated 460 Million dollars by now.” Ted replied.
*Whistle* “Man they are good, but I guess not that much. Okay, get the sweetest deal possible.” He gave a green light and hung up.
