I was tired, maybe even exhausted. Still, there were truly important things to do. Mina and Yasmin had their legs shaking and were completely exhausted, so they stayed behind chatting with Lilith. The three had naughty minds, so they could get along very well.
Lila, as always, was responsible for cleaning up everything. anwhile, Isabel wanted to have a quick talk with , this ti, more serious and direct.
She told to be more responsible, even though she understood how I could lose track of everything around when I focused on sothing. Then she concluded by saying I could count on her to scold if I wasn’t taking proper care of the harem.
I sighed deeply with a twinge of regret, but what was done, was done. Now I had things to do. We had two targets for that day: Thomas and Michel.
At first, I thought I would only need to go after Michel, but apparently, the short-tempered hothead was also involved to so extent. At least Lucia had uncovered so things about him. Moreover, neither of them was acting alone, and to get to the groups behind all this, we had devised a grand plan.
Well, as much as I call it that, it was quite simple. By the end of the holiday, there would be a big party for university students and young adults. We were going to take control of its organization, cause a bit of chaos, and finally use the mont of distraction to corner these people.
The groups backing Michel and Thomas would undoubtedly make their moves at this party, making it a pri opportunity. The only issue in this entire situation was that most of the information I had gathered had co from Lucia. At the ti, I didn’t believe she was scheming against , after all, the contract prohibited it, but with that woman, you could never be too sure.
"Hey, how’s everyone doing?" Clara asked with a friendly smile.
"Good, why don’t you sit down?" Lucia offered her a chair.
As a way to protect myself and also on Lucia’s suggestion, I ended up letting my favorite reporter take over the rest of the investigation. Conveniently, Thomas was working with people she was already after.
The group in question was the Funny Corporation. A company that actually existed and worked on organizing events such as parties, among other things. Or at least, those were its front-facing businesses. Clara had been after them for quite so ti since they seed to be involved in several cris. The most basic one was selling illicit drugs at their parties, which was pretty standard.
Furthermore, they apparently managed secret brothels; however, the won working there seed to be prisoners or sothing similar. Beyond that, they were involved in various other highly suspicious activities. The problem lay in their connections, shielding them from the police. Moreover, they operated so carefully that they avoided public attention. However, their plans were finally about to be thwarted.
"They have many connections and seem to be powerful people, but if we can create enough commotion, there’s no way they can cover it all up," I said confidently. "Besides, it’ll be good for you, it’ll draw a lot of attention to your news site," I added, smiling at Clara.
"Yes, leave it to . Now do your part properly, hero!"
Lucia nodded solemnly and then seed lost in thought for a mont. She was likely calculating the next best steps.
In the end, there was only one conclusion she could reach.
"I think we can stick to our original plan. Maybe things will turn out even easier than we expected."
"It’s not good to let our guard down, but I agree," I replied with a smile.
Since we had already confird the information we needed, the next natural step was to go after Thomas. Regarding taking control of the party, Lucia had assured she’d handle it, so I decided not to worry much about that.
"Do you know where Thomas is now?" I asked the reporter.
"Yes, actually... look, I know exactly where he is at any given mont." She showed her phone, which displayed a small map with a stationary red dot.
She had placed so kind of tracker on him. I wasn’t going to complain because it was incredibly convenient, but I couldn’t deny it was a bit unsettling to see how casually she did it. Also, it was probably illegal!
While I was processing these thoughts, Lucia glanced briefly at her phone and ntioned she had to make a quick call. I found it slightly suspicious but couldn’t ddle too much in her business, so I simply let her step outside the restaurant to talk to whoever it was.
Taking advantage of the mont alone with Clara, I turned to her and asked sothing I had been curious about for a while:
"What’s your opinion on Lucia?"
The girl seed lost in thought for a mont, making the face of soone who had stumbled upon a very difficult question.
"My first impression is that she’s a stunning and admirable woman." Clara was honest, and I couldn’t help but agree with her. "She has an incredible body, always carries herself with perfect posture, and is sohow both intimidating and seductive at the sa ti."
She continued with her praise for a while. And indeed, I couldn’t deny anything she was saying, Lucia was remarkable in so many ways.
"But I can’t help but find her quite dangerous," Clara finally said, breaking the chain of complints. "I tried to investigate her after you asked , and I couldn’t uncover a single thing. That’s honestly terrifying. I feel like it’d be easier to secretly investigate a powerful politician than her."
"Actually, about that, it’s better to stop. She told she already knows about your attempts to investigate her."
Clara was caught off guard by what I said, but after thinking for a bit, she shrugged, saying that if Lucia already knew, things made more sense. Then, she apologized for not being able to uncover anything.
"You don’t need to apologize. You’ve already helped so much. I can only thank you; you’ve done so much for ."
"Not at all. I’m the one who should be thanking you," she said, looking to the side, a bit embarrassed. Then she looked into my eyes with great passion. "Ever since I t you, things have been going right for , and I finally feel like I’m moving toward my dream. I’m serious, you’re the hero of my life."
Her small eyes stared at with such seriousness and passion that I could hardly bear to look back. At the sa ti, her lips seed to call to sohow.
"So never hesitate to call if you need anything. I’ll always be grateful for what you’ve done for , and I also consider you very important to ." She looked deep into my soul. "So, you can ask for anything."
"Anything?" I repeated, a bit awkwardly.
"Anything." She repeated it, but this ti, I had the impression that she leaned forward slightly, giving a glimpse of her bra through her neckline.
Looking at her small breasts and that lovely neck, a powerful desire grew within . However, before I could say anything, the redhead walked in, catching off guard.
Noticing the situation, she looked at , then blatantly glanced toward my waist and smirked ironically. She had definitely noticed she’d killed the mood, but she didn’t seem to care in the slightest.
"I think we can go now. Can you send us the target’s location?" Lucia turned to Clara, completely unbothered.
The girl blushed slightly and quickly sent an address through Google Maps to both of us. Apparently, the boy was at the mall again. It was a bit too public of a place, but I could figure sothing out easily enough.
Lucia kindly offered to pay the bill, and we started walking ahead. At that mont, Clara leaned close to whisper in my ear:
"About Lucia..." Hearing those words, I felt a bit disappointed, I had hoped she’d bring up a different topic. "I don’t know if it’s relevant, but I noticed she seems to be walking a bit unsteadily today. Normally, her posture is perfect, and she disguised it well, but it looks like her legs are a little weak. Also, a few tis, she seed to adjust the position of her pants in secret."
Clara pulled back with a serious look on her face. She was definitely observant, missing no detail. Even so, I couldn’t help but smile ironically at what she said because I knew exactly what was causing the redhead’s unusual behavior: .
Just then, the demon approached us, and I couldn’t help but notice she was slightly flushed, her gaze montarily shy. Still, those emotions lasted only a second, she quickly returned to her usual inscrutable smile.
"Well, I have to go. It was a pleasure eting you." Clara said her goodbyes, ntioning that she had to start a stream with Amber soon. "Oh, one more thing, it would be good for you to call her soon. That girl won’t admit it, but she’s missing you."
I shuddered, realizing how long it had been since I last spoke with Amber. I’d already learned my lesson about how upset won could get over such things. I sighed deeply, it was going to be a headache to deal with that.
"Did you happen to overhear sothing you shouldn’t have, Miss Wobbly Legs?" With Clara now out of earshot, I decided to tease the redhead, smirking ironically.
My hand slid over to lightly caress her rear, my fingers brushing just slightly against her pussy through her clothes. Lucia couldn’t suppress a small moan, though she quickly composed herself. She always did her best to appear as dignified and flawless as possible.
"I didn’t hear anything about what you two talked about while I was on my call, but at that distance, it was impossible not to hear her whispering."
Surprisingly, she admitted it, still blushing a little as she continued to speak:
"You’re truly insatiable, aren’t you?" she remarked, a bit defensively. "You’re surrounded by so many beautiful won, yet you’re still chasing after that little reporter and showing such lust for my body."
"Of course, because both of you are stunning too," I tried to tease her a bit more. "Maybe you’ll be the next beauty I win over, you know?" I smiled with a certain confidence.
"Keep dreaming," she replied with an equally smug grin before striding ahead.
I couldn’t deny how much I enjoyed my exchanges with that fiery redhead.
We made our way to the mall, and finding our target turned out to be surprisingly easy. As usual, Thomas was causing trouble in a store. Honestly, I almost felt a sense of déjà vu seeing him, but this ti, things would go very differently.
"Hide sowhere. I’ll lure him to a place without people so we can interrogate him."
Smiling confidently, I approached the person who once filled with fear.
"Causing trouble again?" I said, flashing an ironic grin.
"You again? What do you want?" He grabbed by the collar.
I kept my smirk, provoking him even further as I ruffled his hair.
"Wait, wait, hothead. If we fight here, it’ll be a problem, don’t you think?" I glanced toward the approaching security guards.
"You’re really confident, huh? I’m going to wipe the floor with you." He was so easy to rile up, like a fool rushing straight into an obvious trap.
"Then follow , idiot." I began walking toward the exit.
Fueled by his rage and eagerness to fight, he followed close behind, his steps hurried. I could barely suppress the urge to laugh.
Soon enough, we found ourselves in an alley, far from prying eyes and out of range of any caras. As soon as we arrived, the hothead lunged at , aiming for a hit, but I managed to dodge. We exchanged a few blows after that.
Of course, if this were a serious fight, I’d likely lose. He had trained in martial arts for far longer than I had. Yet, compared to my sparring sessions with Lila and Lucia, this guy was laughably weak. Maybe even a rookie like could take him down.
But...
"I’m here." A demon erged from the shadows. Her frightening gaze was enough to make Thomas freeze right there, scared to death.
I didn’t need to win the fight, nor did I really care, because the checkmate had already been decided a long ti ago.
"Can I leave him with you?" I asked.
"Sure, I’ll be sure to interrogate him."
