I let out a deep sigh after finishing my testimony for the jury. The entire defense process had been extrely draining. Still, Seraphina told I could leave the rest to her, so my days would be easier moving forward.
"Finally, you learned how to behave properly," Seraphina said in an almost complintary tone.
I smiled back and moved on, replaying in my mind what I needed to do. First, I looked at my phone, I needed to, at least, say hi to the girls... No battery? I was surprised to find that it wouldn’t turn on, but it made sense. The last few days had been so intense that I hadn’t even rembered to charge my phone.
"There should be a charger at my mom’s house..." I murmured to myself.
"You look tired, need so energy drink?" Vanessa, holding a can of Red Bull in her hand, approached with a cheerful smile.
"Better not. I think my body can’t handle staying awake any longer."
"Welco to adulthood," she gave a playful pat on the back. "And let tell you from personal experience, it’s always possible to stay up longer."
We exchanged a few more words in a lighthearted tone as we walked toward the parking lot. My mind wandered, recalling the last few days and considering what I needed to do.
After negotiating with Vanessa and Seraphina, they agreed to help out; in return, I needed to prove myself worthy of their trust and investnt. In short, Vanessa asked to help her with the managent of a store she was opening.
Seraphina, on her end, said I could move into her house. It would be cheaper than keeping paying rent, but I would have to take on the household chores. With no other real options, I ended up accepting.
By the way, living with Isabel wasn’t really an option. First, I had already asked her to take in Eva and Lila. Then, I sent yet another girl (Lilith) to stay with them, and I didn’t want to push for more. On top of that, being close to the two of them would help with work and earning their trust.
Beyond all that, I doubted I would be productive living in a harem of four gorgeous won.
Of course, my plan was to one day live comfortably with all of them... Maybe even with more girls in the future. However, for that future to be possible, I needed to solve certain problems first.
After everything that had happened, the negotiations with Lucia and the two business won, my plans were: save Helena, deal with Zack once and for all and pay my debts to both of them. After that, I would finish helping Lucia and with that the pact would be over; I would also finish Amber’s quest and live peacefully for the rest of my life.
That is, of course, if things went according to plan.
Still, I felt a chill in my stomach that told that nothing would be that easy.
Most importantly, I still had my obligations in the present. Regarding my promise to level up, I was doing my best, I had already reached level 7, however I still had two missions left to go to level 8:

Not only did I have to "win over" three won this ti, but I didn’t even know who the third one was. In truth, everything about this quest felt strange, especially since the ultimate goal was to establish a company, not necessarily seduce them.
In any case, it was quite convenient because completing this quest would probably also serve as a way to repay my debt to Vanessa and Seraphina. Still, I sighed, noting how difficult it was to earn the trust of those two, especially the beautiful and icy princess.
With Vanessa, though, I had the impression that as long as I made the store successful, I would fulfill the mission. The problem was that making the store successful wasn’t easy at all, and the establishnt hadn’t even officially opened yet.
"We’re here," the girl’s calm voice brought out of my thoughts.
I had a slight headache just thinking about what I would have to do from now on, but complaining wouldn’t solve anything.
I smiled at Vanessa in gratitude as she had kindly given a ride to my destination. I got out of the car, and she drove off, likely with a lot of work on her own plate.
Slightly nervous, I rang the doorbell. How long had it been since the last ti I visited? Probably almost a year.
"Son," a woman in her 50s, who looked 30 or younger, greeted cheerfully. "You finally arrived," she said with a wide smile. "Co in, I’ve prepared dinner."
I smiled faintly; it truly felt good to see her after so much ti. My mother’s smile was always comforting, and her excessive energy seed to recharge my own.
I set my phone to charge and followed her lively pace as nostalgia began to restore my spirit. I felt relaxed there in a way I hadn’t in a long ti.
The food was delicious, and nurous happy mories from my childhood filled my soul. Smiling, I savored that brief mont. Still, I had a clear reason for this visit, and I didn’t have much ti to spare. I made a ntal note to try to visit my mother more often.
"Mom, I got a new job that pays really well, so..."
I fabricated a small lie before finally giving her a significant amount of money. I had sold my furniture, and with the money I earned, I bought equipnt for Eva, but I still had so left over.
It wasn’t even close to enough to pay off my debt, but it was enough to make my mother’s life a little bit easier. And I felt that I should give back to her for everything she had done for .
Additionally, I explained to her that she wouldn’t have to pay rent for anymore. She hesitated to accept all of that, saying that I didn’t need to worry about her. Still, I insisted. I didn’t want her to have two jobs and work so hard at her age.
Having accomplished my goals, I smiled deeply and said my goodbyes. I grabbed my phone and sent a ssage to the girls, but apparently Lucia had already t with them and explained the situation. In the end, I only said that I would visit them soon.
It was already quite late, but I went back to Seraphina’s house, which was located within a massive gated community for the wealthy.
On the way back, I took the opportunity to make a few important phone calls and speak with so people.
I had a quick conversation with Clara, who enthusiastically agreed to help investigate a certain redhead. Moreover, she seed very excited and happy to be working with Amber.
Apparently, the two of them were becoming famous on the internet. Unfortunately, I hadn’t had ti to check that out, but I was glad for them.
"We’ve arrived, sir," said the Uber driver.
"Thank you so much for the ride," I said as I got out of the car.
I showed my ID, and they allowed entry into the gated community. Seraphina’s house was near the entrance, so after walking for a bit, I could already see it from a distance.
I walked toward the house and took the key out of my pocket. Just as I was about to open the door, a feminine voice called to from behind.
"Do you happen to know the woman who lives in this house?"
Aa I turned around, my eyes t a beautiful milf, whose clothes did little to hide her ample chest. But my eyes didn’t linger for long at her chest, because soon I noticed her face was familiar.
She was a woman I hadn’t t in person, but I still knew her na. As many rich and powerful people lived at Seraphina’s apartant, and I didn’t want to be taken by surprise again, I morized so nas of residents.
And the woman beside was Charlotte Mattau, Zack’s mother.
