First person POV - Liam
"Your power is incredible, Master!" the Succubi concluded, her voice echoing inside my mind.
I had to agree with her. The number of possibilities with this power was almost endless. I practically had the power of mind control and could even make anyone faint.
"Yes!" the Succubi answered excitedly. "But be careful. The dream must be believable. That’s why the punishnt exists. If the dream is too absurd and the person realizes they’re outside reality, it’s over."
"I see. And does this power have any other limitations?"
"Hmm... you won’t be able to put supernatural beings to sleep, unless they’re already extrely tired..." she murmured, thoughtful.
She went on to explain that there was a limit to how many people could be trapped in the dream at once, as well as a ti limit.
In general, the more people were caught in the dream, the shorter the duration it could remain active.
On top of that, the ability worked best if I had a clear image of what I wanted my opponents to see.
"And this," she said, appearing in front of as a tiny chibi doll.
Then she snapped her fingers and released two of the girls from their dreams.
"What was I doing?" Helena muttered in surprise, noticing the chess piece in her hand.
"Were we... playing?" Alice whispered weakly. "Oh my God... Clara, what happened to her?" At last, she seed to rember what really mattered.
"Don’t worry, you were only out of it for a few monts," I said in a calm voice.
I quickly explained everything that had happened. Lee Hua still didn’t know about the app, and to avoid having to explain it, I kept her trapped in the dream. The sa went for Max.
I was confident that with these powers, I could face whoever had captured Clara. Helena thought it would be dangerous, but I couldn’t wait any longer.
"I’m going to where Clara is," I declared with confidence.
With no other choice, Helena decided to trust and drive us there. I asked Alice to stay behind, since that would be safer.
Zoe would also remain, so she could protect the other girls. She said she wanted to co with , but I couldn’t take that risk.

We arrived at the abandoned warehouse shortly before midnight. The windows were boarded up, and the roof looked like it could collapse at any mont.
The car stopped a few ters away. Helena kept her hands tightly on the wheel, but her eyes betrayed her tension.
"Is this the place?" she asked, her voice low, almost a whisper.
I nodded, closing my eyes. Apparently, part of my power was being able to sense the people around .
More specifically, I could feel the number of targets available for my ability in the area.
As expected, there was no one nearby, just , Helena, and a few people inside the warehouse.
Focusing more carefully, I could sense two guards at the entrance, and eleven more inside. Seven of them were moving back and forth, while three remained completely still.
Prisoners, maybe? I could only hope Clara was among them.
Without hesitation, I pulled everyone into the dream. It was difficult to control, but I only needed to vaguely imagine what I wanted, and the succubus handled the rest.
Helena blinked a few tis, confused, and before she could react, I gently lulled her into sleep, keeping her trapped safely inside the car.
I also made everyone inside the warehouse believe they were just living through an ordinary workday.
I walked up to the door and froze in surprise when I saw two won guarding the entrance. Their intimidating stares weren’t what shocked the most.
Both of them were easily over two ters tall, with horns sprouting from their heads. Their shoulders were broad, their chests unnaturally large.
They also had short tails that looked like they belonged to a cow.
What were these won? They didn’t seem like demons.
The whole thing was bizarre, but I could figure it out later. Since they were under the effect of my power, I made them see as their boss.
Imdiately, they looked at with respect, their massive bodies trembling softly in fear. They stepped aside, opening the way for to enter the warehouse.
As soon as I crossed the threshold, I used my power to ensure none of the won inside would notice my presence.
As soon as I stepped inside, a heavy stench filled my nostrils. The air was thick with the reek of dried blood and the unmistakable scent of death. My stomach churned, but I held firm, keeping the illusion active over everyone around .
Looking at the people inside, I quickly noticed that they were all girls, yet none of them were ordinary.
I couldn’t understand the reason behind it, but every one of them was a hybrid, a grotesque fusion of woman and beast, as if soone had forcibly reshaped their bodies, splicing species together in an unnatural way.
What struck even more was that not a single girl bore a trace of joy in her eyes. Still, they worked in haste, as if driven by fear.
At the back of the warehouse, a disturbing sight made freeze. A half-horse girl, her back sared with bloodstains, was dragging lifeless bodies as though they were sacks of grain.
I didn’t recognize the n, but there were five of them, broad and heavyset, lying dead. It wasn’t hard to guess; they were Lee Hua’s agents.
The centaur girl lined them up as if she were dispatching rchandise, her vacant gaze betraying the fact that this was not her choice. Then, following the orders she had been given, she dismbered the bodies before tossing the pieces to starving chickens.
As I watched, I noticed sothing even more cruel. Almost all the hybrid girls bore scars carved into their flesh, long, deep lash marks slashing across their backs, arms, and thighs. So of them could barely stand upright.
Almost unconsciously, I altered their dream, letting them feel a little relief. At the very least, they would see the place as clean and pleasant.
Then I kept moving through that cursed place. I saw more horrors, but nothing could have prepared for what I witnessed next.
