Third person POV
Frustrated after everything he had been through, Zack imdiately grabbed his cell phone. And with a look full of hatred, he began to type his mother’s number.
If there was anyone who would take his side at that mont, it would be her, wouldn’t it? After all, the woman was the only one in the family who hadn’t found out the truth about what her son had tried to do to Eva.
"I’m going to show them all that they shouldn’t ss with soone like ," he smiled in a distorted way while listening to the sound of his cell phone ringing.
And, as usual, the woman answered imdiately. Even though she was having fun on the cruise, she would always stop whatever she was doing to answer her children.
"What’s wrong?" She asked in a gentle tone.
"Mom," the boy comnted while crying falsely. "I was in the final of the competition, but they set up!"
Then he began to tell a false story about how Eva had orchestrated everything to destroy him. Zack lied almost compulsively, and perhaps he even believed his own lies.
Charlotte, on the other hand, was a little skeptical. Despite all the unconditional love she had for her children, even she had already noticed that Zack was a rotten apple.
Noticing that the woman wasn’t buying his story, Zack replied quickly, trying to control his trembling voice,
"Mom, you don’t understand! I didn’t do anything wrong. She started it all! Eva humiliated in front of everyone, and I was just trying to defend myself. She’s a manipulator, a liar! You need to believe !"
"Zack, are you sure you didn’t do anything wrong? You know, son, sotis it’s important to own up to our part of the bla too..."
"No, I’m telling the truth, it’s all that woman Eva’s fault, and her boyfriend, Liam. They’re plotting to destroy ."
"Wait, Liam?" Suddenly, the woman’s mood changed completely. "Can you send a picture of him?" She asked in a slightly irritated tone.
Zack felt a montary relief, thinking he had finally gotten his mother’s support. Then he quickly hung up the call to find so pictures of the two of them together. Which wasn’t difficult, since Liam had an open profile on Instagram.
He quickly sent the photo and then called his mother again. And he quickly began to speak in a venomous tone.
"You saw the picture, that’s the boy who hit , he’s a terrible person. He was also the one who..."
Charlotte interrupted, and now her voice was filled with anger:
"Zack, stop lying. Why did you cause trouble with Liam’s girlfriend?"
Zack froze, not understanding his mother’s reaction.
"Mom, I... I was just trying to defend myself. They were the ones who started it all."
"Liam is an incredible and honest young man, unlike you," the woman used a cold and angry tone that Zack had never heard before.
The boy was sure that his mother would be on his side as always, but suddenly she was angry for no reason. Why? There was only one explanation: it was that man; once again, he had manipulated everything to destroy him.
Zack’s chest filled with rage, believing that he was the victim of a great conspiracy orchestrated by that damn couple.
"Whatever, I hoped that at least you would be on my side, Mom. But I see that I was wrong. After all, you never loved , did you? You always preferred Eric and Sophia, that’s why you always will..."
Surprisingly, Charlotte hung up. Normally, she would be so sad to hear those words that she would apologize and do everything Zack asked. But this ti, things were different.
Outraged by this, the boy tried to call his mother again, but she didn’t answer. To be more specific, whenever Zack tried to call, the line seed busy.
There could only be two explanations for this: either Charlotte had blocked her own son, or she was talking to soone. Zack beca furious, believing that the first option was correct. And, in a fit of pique, he decided to block his mother too.
However, the truth was that Charlotte would never do sothing like that to her son. In reality, she was so shaken by what she had heard that she decided to call Liam for comfort. And, for the next hour, she would be talking to him, trying to understand how things had reached this point.
Then he tried to call his girlfriend, with whom he had just started his relationship. But she also refused to answer. In this case, it was because she was too far from her cell phone and too busy having fun with soone else.
Extrely angry, Zack threw his cell phone to the ground, shattering the device.
And, almost as if fate were laughing in his face, an intense rain began right then.
Zack looked at the shattered cell phone on the ground, feeling a mixture of anger and despair. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing, and his mind searched for sothing to bla for his misfortune.
Then the rain began to fall harder and harder, soaking his face and clothes, as if the universe were laughing at his misfortune. He tried to wave down so taxis that were passing by, but none stopped. Without a cell phone and without money, he had no way to call a car or pay for a ride.
With a sigh of frustration, he began to walk towards his house. The icy rain soaked his clothes, and he couldn’t stop shivering from the cold. His soaked shoes made an unpleasant squishing sound with every step, and the cold wind seed to cut through his skin.
As he walked, his mind kept replaying the day’s events. He saw himself as the victim of a great conspiracy, betrayed by everyone around him. Eva, Liam, my own mother... they’re all against , he thought, feeling a knot of anger and self-pity form in his chest.
The streets were practically deserted, and the few people who passed him looked at him with disdain or indifference. Zack felt invisible, as if the whole world had turned its back on him.
And to make matters worse, on the way ho, he fell into a puddle of mud and dirty water, ruining his fancy clothes.
Even so, he dragged himself all the way ho, his body still trembling desperately.
By the ti he finally arrived, he was completely drenched and exhausted. With great difficulty, he opened the door, feeling the heavy weight of his own helplessness.
Hoping for a mont of peace, he went to take a shower, but his brief relaxation was soon interrupted by a court notification.
For the next few days, his father would be too busy to answer his calls. And his mother? He had blocked her himself.
Because of that, and his own stupidity, he ended up unable to even hire a lawyer to defend himself against the accusations.
And with that, his life was over the mont the sentence was given.

anwhile, Charlotte had just finished talking to Liam and was feeling better. The boy had also told her the whole story of what happened to Eva, which made the woman feel contempt for her son for the first ti.
She begged Liam for forgiveness, but he insisted that it wasn’t her fault.
In the end, they continued talking for so ti about lighter subjects. And after everything was over, Charlotte decided to ask one of the girls to borrow a bikini. Not that she didn’t have her own, but she wanted one that was quite provocative.
So she chose one with a thong design that barely concealed her body and took so photos that she sent to Liam.
