Chapter 122: The Unusual eting

Three days had passed—

In the Human Domain, deep within the Church of Light, an unusual eting was unfolding.

In the underground chamber of the church, Solaris, Elizabeth, and Emily sat together around a round table.

The atmosphere was... weird.

Elizabeth’s silver-glowing eyes flicked between Solaris and Emily, back and forth, frowning slightly.

This had been going on for almost half an hour.

Finally, Solaris, ever the impatient one, sighed. "What’s wrong with you, Eli?" she said casually, using Elizabeth’s old nickna without a second thought.

"Don’t call that," Elizabeth snapped coldly.

But Solaris just smirked. "I’ll call you Eli if I want. What’ll you do about it?"

Her golden aura flared slightly, the room around her lighting up as though a miniature sun had ignited underground.

"Don’t forget — just because you’ve gotten stronger doesn’t an you’re stronger than , little Eli."

Elizabeth’s frown deepened, silver light gathering around her like a shimring veil. Her aura was different — it didn’t burn, it unveiled. Under its gaze, nothing could hide: thoughts, emotions, intentions — all laid bare.

Solaris grinned, about to provoke her further—

"Enough," Emily’s voice rang out, calm but thunderous. The two stopped and looked at her.

Clad in her regal robe, red hair gleaming, erald eyes sharp as a blade, Emily’s re presence commanded attention. She was as beautiful as before. "I’m here on a royal visit, and you know it’s not supposed to take this much ti. So, to avoid suspicion," she said coolly. "Let’s not waste ti. There are people waiting for us..."

She turned her head slightly. Solaris and Elizabeth followed her gaze.

A dozen n and won, shackled and kneeling behind them, waited in silence.

"Waiting to receive their judgnt."

Solaris sighed, withdrawing her aura. Elizabeth followed suit.

But Solaris couldn’t help herself. "So, Eli... are you going to tell why you’ve been glaring at us like that all morning?"

Elizabeth’s lips twitched. "Because I’m picking up a familiar scent on you two," she said flatly.

Solaris raised a brow. Emily frowned. "What do you an?"

"I’m an oracle," Elizabeth said sharply. "And not so lowly back-alley diviner. My senses — especially when it cos to Noah — are sharper than either of you can imagine."

Her eyes narrowed. "And right now, I’m sensing the sa threat from you that I sense in all the other won orbiting Noah. It’s faint, but it’s there."

She paused, lips curling slightly. Cold. "So tell . Do you two have feelings for Noah?"

Solaris and Emily exchanged a long glance.

Then, in perfect synchronization, they both sighed.

"You’re insane."

"You’re imagining things."

They spoke at the sa ti. But Elizabeth wasn’t fooled — she caught the tiny hesitation.

Turning to Emily, she murmured, "Your daughter is the first to be with Noah, right? Tell , how does it feel to desire the sa man as your own daughter? Tsk, tsk... degenerate."

Emily’s eyes turned glacial. Sparks of blue lightning flickered in the air around her. "Enough nonsense," she snapped. "He’s a child in my eyes. And my daughter’s husband. I have no interest in him."

Elizabeth smirked. "If you say so."

She turned to Solaris.

"Don’t say anything," Solaris preempted her smoothly. "As for ? I don’t know... but I wouldn’t say no if he ca knocking. Hell, I might even take the first step. Honestly, where else would you find a man like Noah?"

Shaless. Unapologetic.

Elizabeth’s eye twitched. She fought the urge to snap the woman’s soul in half, but no — she would be the bigger person. For Noah’s sake.

"Let’s focus," Elizabeth said coldly.

The air in the room shifted, turning sharp, serious.

Solaris nodded. "How’s it going with Ro?"

Emily exhaled. "He suspects nothing for now. But he knows Noah’s backing Sophie. He’s already sent Isaac and Albert to seek refuge with Elijah."

Her lips tightened. "Problem is, they’ve lost contact since three-four days ago. Ro’s getting restless."

Solaris shared a look with Elizabeth. "Elira told Isaac and Albert reached out to the demons," Solaris explained. "They have lost Elijah’s support so they did that stupid thing. Maybe that’s why Ro can’t contact them."

Emily’s eyes widened in fury. "The demons? How dare they?"

"How did they even lose Elijah?"

"Sophie, of course," Solaris muttered. "But that’s not our concern now. Noah’s handling things on the demon continent."

"Our job," Elizabeth said calmly, "is to prepare the stage here. When the ti cos, the Emperor will fall in an instant. Sophie will ascend. The human domain will be ours. Noah will get what he wants. That is Sophie being the Empress."

They all nodded in agreent.

"First," Solaris said, turning to the shackled prisoners, "let’s cleanse the Church of this so-called goddess’s influence."

She snapped her fingers, releasing their voices.

"Any last words?" Solaris asked lazily.

"You’ll regret this!"

"The goddess will avenge us!"

"Divine punishnt awaits you!"

Their voices rose in a furious chorus.

The three won watched in silence, eyes cold, unmoved.

Elizabeth smirked, chilling and rciless. "Goddess?" she sneered. "That bitch is no goddess. You’ve all been fooled."

"And even if she was," Solaris added, "we wouldn’t care."

"Because to us—" Elizabeth’s silver eyes glead.

To all three, a slow, wicked smile curled on their lips.

"Noah, my love, is more like a god than any of them."

"So—" Elizabeth raised her finger. Solaris and Emily mirrored her, united.

"Die, you wretched things."

BOOM—!

CRACKLE—!

"ARGHHHH!!"

"NOOO!! STOP!!"

A miniature sun ignited, searing them alive. Blue lightning danced, striking with perfect, ruthless precision. Elizabeth reached in, seized their very souls — and crushed them into oblivion.

A true death. No reincarnation. No second chances.

That was the price of standing against them.

That was the price of standing against Noah.

Elizabeth turned, walking away. "Let’s finish this today," she murmured.

"Let’s tear this church down from the inside... and build sothing new."

She smiled darkly.

"This ti, we won’t worship so false goddess."

"We’ll worship a real one. Well for us, he is real."

"We’ll worship my love, Noah."

Elizabeth smirked.

"And I will be his Oracle."

Solaris laughed softly. "Then I’ll be his Saintess."

Emily looked between them, shaking her head with a wry smile — but the anticipation in her chest was undeniable.

A new human domain.

A new church.

A new world.

And all of it, sparked by the little boy who once blackmailed her...

She couldn’t help but admit —

She had greatly underestimated him.

That boy was no monster.

He was an abomination.

And truthfully...

Her daughter was lucky to have him.

But even as she thought this — another whisper stirred in her mind.

If only...

Yes.

If only...

Emily sighed. She looked at Elizabeth and Solaris and saw their happy and contented expression.

And she can’t help but thought.

I too want to be happy.

I too want to be loved.

Thats why—

Sorry dear daughter...
