Chapter 886 – Rain ASMR
Naomi whistled quietly. "Okay, wow."
Ely adjusted her wineglass slightly, gaze lingering on him longer than necessary.
Rava smirked openly.
Mira looked very pleased with herself.
And Yue?
Yue took one look at him.
Then imdiately grabbed her drink.
Too quickly.
Ancient dragon.exe stopped functioning.
Lux noticed.
Oh, he absolutely noticed.
And sohow that made the whole situation worse.
The System appeared helpfully beside him again.
[Current Room Status:]
[Collective Female Heart Rate: Elevated]
[Atmosphere Classification: Extrely Dangerous]
Lux ntally agreed.
Sira leaned back deeper into the couch, eyes slowly dragging over him without sha.
"You clean up nicely."
Lux huffed. "I look like expensive bad decisions."
Naomi raised her glass. "That’s literally your brand."
The terrifying part?
She wasn’t wrong.
A servant passed by carrying drinks and nearly walked into a pillar after seeing Lux.
The tray tilted dangerously.
Wine glasses rattled.
The servant recovered at the last second with the kind of reflexes usually reserved for battlefield veterans and people who worked around attractive devils professionally.
Lux watched the near-disaster happen.
Then sighed.
"See? Even the staff are suffering."
Naomi almost choked on her wine laughing.
Sira looked deeply pleased with herself. "You say suffering. I say successful styling."
Lux gestured at himself. "I look like a luxury escort."
Mira crossed one leg slowly. "A very expensive one."
"That sohow makes it worse."
Yue stayed suspiciously quiet.
Which honestly told Lux everything.
Because every few seconds...
Her gaze drifted downward.
Then imdiately snapped away again.
Ancient dragon.
Five hundred years old.
Terrifying sovereign-level being.
Currently losing a psychological battle against tight pants.
Beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful.
Lux eventually gave up pretending dignity still existed and rolled his shoulders once.
"You know what? Fine." He looked down at himself. "It’s not that bad."
A pause.
He looked lower.
"...Oh. Yeah. It’s that bad."
The girls burst out laughing.
Even Ely covered her mouth.
Lux huffed dramatically. "Oh well. I’m an incubus. I should just rock this look."
"That’s the spirit," Naomi said while raising her glass.
Lux pointed toward a servant passing nearby.
"Coffee."
Sira imdiately glared at him.
"He ans wine."
Lux looked offended. "I can multitask beverages."
"You already drank three coffees today."
"That sounds dically optimal."
Sira narrowed her eyes.
Lux imdiately switched targets.
"Wine. Bring wine."
The servant bowed respectfully while very carefully not looking below Lux’s waistline.
Smart employee.
"Also," Lux added, "put so music on."
The servant paused. "Classical, sir?"
Lux opened his mouth.
Paused.
Actually thought about it.
Because yeah, classy string orchestra music while everyone dressed like luxury lingerie catalog models and Lux himself looked one wardrobe malfunction away from scandal?
That would sohow make everything feel more dangerous.
He slowly turned toward the girls.
"Suggestions?"
Naomi imdiately answered. "Pop."
Sira said, "Jazz."
Rava humd lazily. "Sothing slow."
Ely tilted her head. "Instruntal could work."
Mira smirked. "Absolutely not. We need sothing fun."
Lullaby, half asleep under blankets, whispered, "Rain ASMR..."
Everyone looked at her.
Lullaby blinked slowly.
"Relaxing."
Lux nodded solemnly. "Valid contribution."
Then Naomi snapped her fingers.
"Wait. Play rich people music."
Lux frowned. "What does that an?"
"The songs where everyone brags about money."
Sira imdiately laughed. "That actually fits him."
Lux thought about it for exactly three seconds.
Then pointed dramatically.
"Okay. Pop it is."
A beat.
"But sothing with money lyrics."
The servant bowed again.
"Yes, sir."
A few monts later, music exploded through the mansion.
Heavy bass.
Smooth vocals.
Lyrics about wealth, luxury, power, expensive habits, and emotionally irresponsible spending.
Honestly?
Perfect.
Naomi imdiately started dancing in her seat.
Sira looked disgusted for exactly two seconds before secretly vibing too.
Rava’s foot tapped lazily against the floor.
Mira mouthed so lyrics.
And Lux?
Lux took one sip of wine and accepted his fate.
The intercom dinged.
Everyone looked toward the entrance.
Lux blinked once.
"That was fast."
Naomi grinned imdiately. "Probably Fiera."
The servant moved toward the doors.
The doors opened.
And there she was.
Fiera.
The fox demi-human stepped inside carefully holding a bottle of wine with both hands like she was trying very hard to arrive politely and not embarrass herself.
She wore casual clothes.
Actual casual clothes.
Simple cream-colored shirt.
Dark jeans.
Sneakers.
Soft cardigan.
Compared to the mansion currently radiating "elite seduction lounge," she looked painfully normal.
And adorable.
Her fox ears twitched once nervously as she stepped inside.
Then she saw everyone.
Saw Naomi.
Saw Sira.
Saw the lingerie.
Saw Yue.
Saw Mira.
Then...
Saw Lux.
And completely stopped functioning.
Because wow.
Her brain did not prepare for that.
At all.
The muscles.
The exposed chest.
The sharp lines of his waist disappearing into those sinful black pants.
And unfortunately, very unfortunately, her eyes accidentally dipped lower.
Oh no the pants were tight.
Her entire face heated instantly.
Fiera forgot how breathing worked.
Lux noticed imdiately.
Incubus instincts plus Hell CFO social awareness ant the man could probably detect emotional instability through walls.
He walked toward her calmly, wineglass still in hand, confidence effortless.
Dangerous.
Warm.
Relaxed.
Every step made the chains on his cuffs shift softly.
Fiera’s soul almost left her body.
"Thank you for coming," Lux said naturally.
For a mont, she genuinely could not answer.
Nothing ca out.
Not words.
Not thoughts.
Only the violent realization that this man was unfairly attractive and sohow even worse in casual settings because he stopped feeling like an untouchable CFO and started feeling like... Dangerous boyfriend material.
Which was sohow scarier.
Her fingers tightened around the wine bottle.
"Uh..."
Excellent response, Fiera.
Wonderful.
The girls watched with varying levels of amusent.
Naomi looked delighted.
Sira looked predatory.
Mira looked smug.
Yue watched quietly.
And strangely enough...
She understood exactly what Fiera was feeling.
Because yesterday?
She’d also stood there ntally buffering while Lux looked at her with that stupid calm confidence like he knew exactly what effect he had on won and chose to weaponize it responsibly.
Mostly responsibly.
Fiera finally found enough brain function to speak.
"I—I brought wine."
