Chapter 885 – Disasters

"I knew this would be a disaster," Lux muttered, eyes locked on the mirror.

Because there was absolutely no way this counted as normal clothing.

He stood there in his room staring at himself like a man witnessing the collapse of civilization in real ti.

The "outfit".

No.

The cri against professionalism.

Consisted of black fitted pants so tight they should legally count as emotional manipulation. The material stretched against every line of his body, low on his hips, thin enough to hint at muscle and shape underneath without technically exposing anything.

Technically.

Which honestly made it worse.

There was no shirt.

At all.

Only black cuffs around his wrists attached to decorative silver chains that definitely existed for aesthetic reasons and not because Sira was a nace.

His chest was completely bare.

His abs exposed.

His collarbones visible.

And because the pants sat criminally low...

Lux closed his eyes.

"I can literally see the outline."

[Correct, sir.]

"The pants are almost transparent. They’re stretchy. And I can see my d*ck size!"

[That does appear to be the intended design philosophy.]

Lux stared at the System window with betrayal.

"That’s not fashion. I’m literally naked!"

[Counterpoint: you are wearing pants.]

Lux looked down at himself again.

The System had a point.

Technically.

Barely.

But technically.

He dragged one hand down his face slowly.

"This isn’t casual. This is a stripper party."

[You are an incubus.]

"And apparently I’m the entertainnt."

[Also correct.]

Lux groaned quietly.

The worst part?

The outfit looked good.

Infuriatingly good.

The black fabric contrasted perfectly against his skin. The silver accents highlighted his wrists and shoulders. The low waist emphasized the sharp V-line of his hips. His hair was still slightly damp from the shower, falling loosely around his face in a way that made him look less like Hell’s CFO and more like a luxury sin wrapped in confidence issues and expensive cologne.

Lux hated it.

Because the girls absolutely knew what they were doing.

The System flickered again helpfully.

[Incubus pheromone amplification detected.]

[Current Increase: 20%]

Lux sighed and adjusted the waistband slightly.

"Great. Fiera and Ariel are coming. They are not my harem."

[Yet.]

Lux imdiately pointed at the floating screen.

"See? That right there. That’s the problem. You keep saying yet."

[Statistically, your concern is unsupported by historical evidence.]

Lux stared. "What do you an?"

[You accidentally emotionally adopt won at an alarming rate, sir.]

Rude.

Accurate.

But rude.

Lux exhaled slowly and grabbed his composure the sa way businessn grabbed collapsing stock markets, with denial and expensive confidence.

"It’s fine," he muttered. "Just casual party."

He opened the door and walked downstairs.

And imdiately regretted having eyes. Or no.

Because the living room looked like soone combined luxury lingerie advertisents with supernatural seduction and then added emotional attachnt issues for flavor.

The girls were already there.

Minus the guests.

Which sohow made this worse because it ant they prepared this deliberately.

Lux stopped walking.

Very slowly.

"...Oh."

Silence.

Then Naomi smiled sweetly from the couch.

"Hi."

Lux blinked once.

She wore dark red silk that wrapped around her body in soft layers, elegant but dangerously fitted. Thin straps over her shoulders, the neckline low enough to hint without fully exposing, the fabric hugging her waist and hips like it was personally loyal to her. One leg crossed over the other lazily while she sipped wine like she hadn’t just attacked his remaining professionalism with fashion terrorism.

Then there was Ely.

High elf elegance remained unfair.

Black lace.

Long translucent sleeves.

Silver embroidery like moonlight stitched into fabric. The lingerie looked less overtly seductive and more like so ancient forbidden elf noble sleepwear designed to ruin kingdoms politely.

Lux looked away imdiately.

Too dangerous.

Rava, anwhile, chose violence.

The kraken woman lounged across an entire sofa wearing deep ocean-blue silk that barely qualified as clothing. Gold chains decorated her thighs while one shoulder remained completely exposed. Her hair spilled around her like dark waves and every tiny movent made the fabric slide against her skin in ways Lux absolutely refused to analyze for his own survival.

Sira noticed him looking.

And smirked.

Pride’s daughter wore black and crimson.

Sharp.

Elegant.

Deliberately provocative without losing that royal dominance. Corset-style silk wrapped around her waist while translucent fabric traced her thighs. Long gloves climbed her arms almost to the shoulders, and her fan rested lazily against her lips while she watched him like a predator evaluating a particularly entertaining prey animal.

"Ah," she purred softly. "There’s our incubus."

Lux pointed at her instantly.

"You started this."

"Yes."

No hesitation.

No sha.

Mira looked up next.

Because unlike the others, Mira’s lingerie wasn’t trying to seduce openly.

It was intimate.

Soft pale gold silk. Loose upper robe slipping slightly off one shoulder. Short silk shorts beneath. Bare legs. Damp hair from her earlier shower falling freely around her face.

Comfortable.

Natural.

Like this was how she looked when she belonged sowhere.

And for so reason that hit Lux harder than the lace and exposed skin.

Which was deeply unfair.

Then there was Yue.

The ancient dragon sat near the window.

Still trying to act calm.

Failing horribly.

Her outfit was simpler than the others. White silk with black trim, long sleeves hanging loosely around her hands, the neckline modest compared to the others but still exposing enough collarbone and shoulder to make Lux’s brain short-circuit slightly after everything that happened last night.

And she wouldn’t look at him directly.

That was the problem.

Because every ti she accidentally did, her ears turned red again.

Lux imdiately knew.

She rembered everything too.

Every sound.

Every touch.

Every embarrassing emotional mont.

Wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful.

Lullaby yawned from the corner wrapped in the fluffiest oversized sleepwear imaginable.

Pink.

Soft.

Dangerously adorable.

She looked at Lux once.

Blink.

Then imdiately gave him a thumbs up.

"Would cuddle."

Lux put a hand over his face.

"This isn’t pajamas."

Naomi looked innocent. "Technically, so of these are sleepwear."

"So of these are criminal."

Sira laughed softly. "You’re one to talk."

Lux looked down at himself.

Right.

The pants.

Damn it.
