Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

The blade reflected between the flas of the place, while its magical tal, created by the sick, imdiately shone. Snape positioned himself in a firm stance before the gigantic serpent.

The basilisk finally finished sliding its entire body out of the mouth of the Salazar Slytherin statue, raising its face in a threatening position as it entered combat mode.

Only the sound of small drops were heard at this mont while Snape's eyes glead blue and the serpent's emitted a glow of malice.

Then the silence was broken by the basilisk's tongue with a shrill noise from its hissing, Snape did not move a muscle with his eyes fixed on the creature.

[System detected external interference, trying to harm the Host! Threat nullified with the ability, Monarch's Immunity. All negative effects have been nullified.]

The system quickly activated its passive ability as the snake attempted to petrify Snape, but to no avail. Seeing this, it seed its rage had reached its peak and the basilisk arched its imnse body and lunged forward, opening its jaws in an attempt to swallow the intruder.

The snake moved like lightning advancing towards Snape, already accustod to dealing with monstrous creatures, as in the punishnt of the daily mission. With a quick impulse, he dodged to the side appearing as a blur, while the basilisk's jaws clamped shut with a bang, exploding and smashing the stone floor where Snape had been.

'Let's see if this sword lives up to what I've read.' Snape thought and did not give the creature room to recover. Moving his body with a fluid motion, he launched himself atop the serpent, his sword glowing as he raised it with his superhuman strength.

The blade quickly struck the creature's scales while the sound of air cutting was heard, and with a tallic sound as the scales resisted a little with its force, still, blood exploded, while the creature quickly emitted an agonizing sound of pain.

Snape took a few steps back while watching the creature trying to rise while bleeding below its neck. 'It won't be so easy, will it?' He murmured internally as he tried to distance himself, and the basilisk, even more enraged, swung its massive body, trying to sweep Snape away with its thick tail.

Snape placed the sword in front of him, to stop the attack, since he had no way to dodge while he was in the air, making him fly backward, but without serious damage while his body hit the chamber wall.

Snape quickly jumped to the side as soon as he looked at the basilisk attacking him swiftly, while the wall exploded with the snake's tail, but Snape appeared on the side unhard after dodging.

Snape drew his wand and threw a death spell with the other hand. "AVADA KEDABRA!" He exclaid as the green ray of death hit the creature's head.

The explosion lit up the chamber, before the basilisk appeared again, perfectly fine, while it seed to mock Snape.

Snape knew this would happen but wanted to make the test. "I wonder if its skin would make a coat immune to magical attacks...?" He couldn't help but wonder.

The basilisk did not like hearing any of this and quickly returned to attack Snape who sorsaulted upwards, while the fangs once again exploded the ground, as acid began to corrode there, with the poisons starting from its teeth.

"That poison would make a fine potion." The basilisk heard the human again, while feeling his weight on top of its head, it quickly raised its head shaking it, trying to throw Snape off, while the human quickly balanced with his legs spread from it.

The basilisk was becoming increasingly infuriated with this half-blood, who seed to be playing with it, a humiliation it had never had to endure in its thousand years. While it swung throughout the Chamber, trying to rid itself of Snape, he persisted atop it, moving his body to not fall while laughing at the snake's misery.

"Co on little snake, you are easier to lead than a broom..." Snape openly mocked it.

Hearing this, the basilisk then simply moved its neck with all its speed to the side, hitting its head on the wall, while Snape disappeared at that mont, reappearing on the ground a few ters away.

"You missed," Snape said, cracking a smile.

The creature quickly looked and advanced, but he disappeared again, reappearing beside it. "Missed again." He mocked a second ti.

He hadn't used his teleportation until now because he wanted to face the creature with brute force, but now he opted to do so, as it was a good jest. The creature looked at him, opening its mouth as wide as it could, with acid dripping again from its fangs. Snape was surprised when it released a gas from its mouth, an ability it normally wouldn't use, but which, due to the fury provoked by the human, ended up triggering to see if it would catch him.

Instinctively, he quickly took a few jumps back and fell into the water. The creature, seeing this, quickly stopped releasing the poisonous gas and also subrged in the water to finish him off.

In the next mont, the snake began to twist, with its body coming in and out of the water, struggling there against the human. Snape didn't seem afraid or desperate in that situation, after all, it wasn't the first ti he fought a monster in this environnt, as he had always faced the people of the Black Lake when he went swimming.

The fight continued and the creature kept thrashing. Snape suddenly reappeared on the other side in the middle of the surface.

"Sotis I forget that this system can make immune to poison too." Snape comnted while no longer caring about breathing the poisonous gas that the creature released, with system ssages saying he was immune.

While the basilisk searched for him with all its might within the water, Snape walked calmly up to it, while waiting for its tail to pass by him, grabbing it quickly. The basilisk was surprised when it felt its body beginning to lift.

Snape, with just his brute strength, managed to lift the entire basilisk, taking it out of the water, before throwing it near the statue from where it ca, hitting the walls and the statue, falling dazed and quickly getting up, searching for Snape. But he had already disappeared from that area.

"I'm here," Snape's voice was heard and the basilisk didn't even have ti to look down before feeling a cut on its skin, below the neck, again making the creature grunt in pain.

It tried once more to attack Snape, but he had disappeared once again with his teleportation, reappearing on top of the basilisk, causing another cut on the top of the head, but not deep enough due to the creature's extrely powerful skin.

"This way I'll be here all day..." Snape murmured as he distanced himself and analyzed the situation.

The creature was in a deplorable state, while its head and necks had lines of blood, mainly when the creature had not caused any damage to that human.

It tried to search for him, but could only see the entire chamber empty, while searching for the human. Snape was at a distance and in a blind spot of its eyes. He was studying the creature in the best way he could before ending it, snakes are generally deaf, but the basilisk, even if it were, didn't need that, after all, its eyes quickly spotted him, seeing him through a heat vision.

"Well, let's finish this once and for all," he murmured, preparing his magic with his wand.

Instead of launching a direct attack, he created a sphere of maximum light, "Lumos Maxima!" He conjured the spell and quickly generated a ball of light rushing towards the basilisk at more than 10 ters.

The ball of light approached it and in the next mont, exploded in light, making the sound of the creature heard throughout the place while it was blinded at this mont and in the next mont, felt an enormous pain, as Snape delivered a punch so sharp below its head, that resonated throughout the area.

While the creature was dazed, Snape reappeared on top of the basilisk's head. "I think you won't be needing this anymore," he said, delivering a cut to one eye, with blood gushing and disappearing. Before the basilisk could scream in agony, Snape had already reappeared a few ters ahead, cutting like lightning the other eye, making the creature completely blind this ti.

"RRRRRRRR!!!!" The creature roared louder than any mont and in its desperate state, the basilisk began to spew venom all around, trying to catch Snape in so way, unaware that he was immune to the poison.

Snape stepped back, positioning himself safely as he began to store his wand and sword in the system, disappearing as he was left with clean hands.

"Hey, you idiot, I'm right here," Snape exclaid.

The creature heard his voice and quickly charged again, its mind turning completely beastly. No matter how many tis it did this, as long as it could kill that human, it would vary.

Snape placed his hand in front while the head advanced toward him and the ground exploded; debris quickly fell and Snape reappeared at that mont, holding both fangs with his hands, which tried to crush him.

But Snape did not yield, holding them with his own strength, he began to try to lift it, with the basilisk moving its entire body to try to overco the human.

"Since external damage couldn't cause major harm, let's settle this with internal damage..." He murmured, competing with the creature in a battle of strength.

He made his sword reappear in one hand while continuing to hold the fangs with the other. The creature didn't have ti to react as it felt its mouth being pierced, advancing to the brain.

The tip of the Gryffindor sword reappeared on top of the basilisk's head, cutting it from inside out. This imdiately hit the creature's brain, causing instant brain death.

In the next mont, Snape felt the basilisk's jaw loosen. He removed the sword and pushed the huge head aside, amid all that poison smoke, while the body still thrashed, sothing normal for snakes, as its body kept moving even without a head, but this was temporary.

[Monarch's Immunity activated!]

[Congratulations! You have leveled up!]

[Congratulations! You have leveled up!]

[Monarch's Immunity activated!]

Snape's system notified him multiple tis that he was immune to the poison, as he breathed the corrupted air and about 2 levels that he managed to gain.

His gaze fell on the creature finally becoming motionless, while its body occupied half of the chamber.

"That was easy... But it still gave two levels..." He couldn't help but murmur as he looked at the chamber falling silent once again, but he heard an exclamation in the distance, looking toward the entrance, while Moaning Myrtle was there hidden with frightened eyes.

"What is she doing here..." He murmured, but then heard another scream from his side of the chamber, as if soone was crying.
