[Chapter Size: 2600 Words.]
Third Person POV
Diagon Alley.
...
...
The people there stared at them with curiosity and even a certain caution, while Severus walked ahead of his mother, with a posture that clearly said that anyone who ssed with them would be dead the next instant.
So rely watched them and lowered their heads, intimidated by his eyes that exuded power. Others simply hurried away, seeming to go warn soone about the mysterious man beside a fragile woman, with dangerously shining eyes, capable of intimidating the entire black market, where there would be all kinds of people more dangerous than those who walk in Knockturn Alley.
As they walked, Severus and his mother passed by the auction house and Severus did not fail to look at the potion shop as he passed it as well, it was open and it was where the smuggler with whom he did business stayed, who later helped him escape from Azkaban.
That made him rember his entire financial potion system, which had beco known worldwide and was beginning to turn into an empire, simply would not exist with him having returned to the past.
Severus already had all the machines ready. He was going to industrialize, for the first ti, magical potions using Muggle technology to his advantage.
If he wanted to return to that, he would have to repeat the entire process, but it would not be now. It would not be today. Perhaps in the future.
For now, he simply left the shop behind and moved forward, entering the place that separated Diagon Alley from the black market.
The man who acted as a lookout stared at him, narrowing his eyes. He certainly knew everyone who passed through there and Severus was not a familiar face, nor was his mother, but without a doubt, he felt that there was danger coming from that young man with purple eyes.
Obviously, it was not the sa man who guarded the black market in Severus's ti, but that did not matter. The lookout did nothing. He simply opened the gate for them to pass.
He knew that he could not deal with soone like that young man.
Eileen rely lowered her head and followed her son.
"I know you have many questions, mother, but first we will take care of you. I know people who can help, even in this ti.", Severus said.
She nodded, even feeling her heart tighten at the thought that her son would leave soon. She would be alone, would she not?
They entered Diagon Alley. It was the middle of the school year, so the place was not as crowded as at the beginning of classes, but still several shops were receiving custors.
They moved forward under a few curious glances because of Severus's peculiar appearance and went straight to Gringotts.
Severus's shadows could not be hidden from the goblins. As soon as he entered the bank, all of them imdiately stared at him, stunned. They could see more than six hundred thousand creatures hidden within Severus's shadows.
The goblins — guards and clerks speaking with clients — froze in place, staring fixedly at the entrance of Gringotts.
So pure-bloods who were there to request services or check their vaults looked away, imdiately turning their attention to the young man with purple eyes and the woman behind him, who, despite being well dressed thanks to the clothes created by Severus, still appeared fragile and cautious.
Severus did not care about the stares and moved forward, passing directly through the line of people waiting to be served.
"Who is he? And who does he think he is to cut in line?", grumbled a man.
Severus recognized him. It was Antonin Dolohov.
He was young at that ti, around twenty-five years old. Severus had killed him years later, in that Muggle town, when Voldemort attacked along with his Death Eaters and werewolves.
There was another woman with a child around 7-8 years old like Severus, he realized it was Lucas Rosier and his mother, a woman who tried to take revenge on Severus when he beat her son at Hogwarts.
Severus ignored him, but the man did not like that and took a step forward.
"What do you think you're doing?", he said. "Wait in line, like everyone else."
Severus could feel the tension coming from the goblins. They were nervous. A mysterious man, carrying enough monsters to devastate their entire race if he wished by releasing that amount of shadows, was being harassed by an ordinary human.
But they had no ti to react. Severus rely looked at him.
The man began to feel an uncontrollable drowsiness and fell to the ground, asleep, under the astonished gazes of the others. Even his mother watched him, stunned.
"Severus, he is a Dolohov!" she said worriedly. She had studied with Antonin Dolohov at Hogwarts and knew his family was dangerous.
"It doesn't matter, soon you will be a Prince." Severus replied to her.
Severus took another step forward, ignoring all the commotion, and stopped before the manager.
"I want to speak with Kargrom." He went straight to the manager responsible for the Prince account, and the goblin, upon hearing this, imdiately paled.
"Call the Prince manager!!", shouted the goblin ard with spear and shield, running inside.
Severus simply waited a few seconds while people murmured around, looking at the man lying on the floor and debating whether they should call the Aurors and whispering the na Prince.
"Eileen Prince?" Lucas's mother could not help but look at the woman with curiosity. His mother seed worried.
Then the manager appeared, hurried, and could not hide the shock when he felt the aura and power emanating from Severus.
"You must be Kargrom. Very well. I am here for us to have a long conversation," said Severus.
The goblin nodded imdiately, sweating at the thought of being locked in a room with that monster. He cast a glance at his colleagues, but all of them looked away. No one wanted to get involved with that being.
"Of course... co with , please," he said, with evident fear in his voice.
He walked stiffly toward the interior of Gringotts.
Severus looked at his mother and gestured for her to follow him, without needing to answer Mrs. Rosier, who shuddered when she suddenly saw, in front of her, a sea of monsters staring at her behind Severus.
"Mother?" Lucas saw the intimidating man, even to pure-bloods, entering with the woman and noticed that his mother was trembling. She fell, gasping, the next mont, never having felt so terrified in her life before.
Severus and his mother entered a private room. The goblin was so nervous that he trembled while serving tea after offering it.
Severus said nothing. He simply made the goblin freeze in place with a simple spell and placed a finger on his forehead just as he had done with his mother.
He transmitted mories of the future — the business they had done together, the expansion plans of Fortuna Prince, the growth that would reach one third of the monetary power of Great Britain, the industrialization of potions, the expansion into the international market.
When he finished, the goblin stared at him in shock, trembling, but in a different way than before. His mother watched the scene with curiosity and caution.
The goblin finally regained a bit of composure. "Lord Prince... what is happening?", he murmured.
He rembered the wars perfectly. The destruction in the cities of Japan. The army of shadows in Cokeworth. Severus buying the village before the final battles. The final chaos. And then, the light that took over the entire planet.
"I am in the past," Severus replied calmly. "I intend to fight my enemies who ca to this world and also those who are outside it. But I need to leave so that the battles do not happen in this world. Before that, I want my mother to beco the heir of Fortuna Prince."
The words shocked Eileen at his side. "Wait, Severus, you cannot do that. My brothers are still alive," she said.
But before she could expect an answer from her son, the manager was quick. "Yes, clearly we can make her the heir. I will place all the vaults in her na and change all the keys so that no other Prince may have access. However, there is the matter of magic. By magic, they are still Princes. That may cause so problems," the manager explained.
Severus nodded, understanding. "Do not worry about that. I will personally force the very magic of the world to recognize only my mother and my great-uncle as Princes. I will abolish my uncles from the family na and turn them into squibs."
Those words made both the manager and Eileen tremble. "Severus...", she murmured, worried.
He rely looked at her with a serious expression. "Mother, you were manipulated by your brothers out of envy and jealousy of your father's attention. They murdered their own father and placed you under an artificial infatuation with Tobias. They also used a Hatred Potion so that he would destroy you over the years. Do you truly think I will leave people like that unpunished? I killed them in my other tiline. Now I will take care of you. I may not kill them now, but I will make them deeply regret it. I will take everything from them and put them in Azkaban."
Eileen said nothing more, lost in thought.
Severus turned his attention back to the manager. They began to discuss the details. Gringotts itself would be doing sothing it would normally never do: removing soone's possessions to hand them over to another person of its own accord.
But what could they do? The one demanding it was soone capable of destroying the entire world. And the person who would benefit was precisely that being's mother — a woman who had been deeply wronged.
Gather all the forces of the world, all magical races, all the greatest Muggle military powers against Severus, and he would still erge victorious — even if the world were destroyed in the process.
How could they deal with soone like that?
"I only need an order from the Goblin King. It will be difficult to convince him, but I am sure I can do it," said the manager.
Severus shook his head. "Do not worry. I intend to speak with the Goblin King personally. You may already begin the transfer into my mother's na. I will go to your capital, underground."
The manager barely managed to react. Severus stood up and opened a portal right there, stepping into it and leaving only the manager and Eileen in the room.
"Well... I suppose we can begin, then," the manager muttered cautiously, imagining what kind of commotion would be happening in the capital at that very mont. Eileen remained there staring at where her son had disappeared, still trying to process everything that was happening.
Severus returned so ti later. He had a brief conversation with the Goblin King and needed to demonstrate a bit of his strength to do so — all the goblins in the capital trembled before him.
His demands were not absurd. He only wanted to protect his mother. He also revealed part of his plans to draw gold into Great Britain as never before seen. It was a business plan that would strengthen the bank more than ever.
The goblins possessed a military force of twenty thousand warriors, but before Severus and the tremor he caused throughout the entire underground capital, it beca clear that they could not oppose that being.
Severus returned to the bank, spoke again with the manager, and took his mother outside. First, he decided to take her to eat sothing, since she had not eaten anything. Money was no longer a problem, so he led her to the best restaurant in Diagon Alley.
Eileen was still uncertain and insecure. When she had been only a ghost, she seed calr, but now, in flesh and bone once more, emotions and traumas had returned with force.
She ate in silence until she finally broke it. "How long will you be gone?", she asked carefully.
Everything was happening too fast. In a few hours, they had gone from poverty to becoming the richest family in all of Great Britain.
"I do not know," Severus murmured in response. "I only know that we have a plan, to fight in another dinsion, ti will pass differently. I will be alone, according to the person who spoke about the plan... I may spend decades fighting, while here only a few years will pass."
"Do you really have to do this? And will you do it alone?!", she murmured, although she already knew the answer.
"If I do not, no one else can, mother. The beings you know as angels explained the situation to . The being who gave the powers I have today allowed to fight in his place. When he left, he asked to make a choice. And I chose to fight to save everyone. I will return soon, but it is necessary."
After that, Severus and Eileen left Diagon Alley and went to Prince Manor. A portal appeared in the middle of the main hall, frightening the Prince residents and the house-elves who worked there.
Severus stepped out first, followed by Eileen, who still seed slightly withdrawn.
Soon soone appeared. It was one of Severus's uncles. Cassian Prince. He was the one who died by the Juggernaut's shadow in Voldemort's trap.
He saw the portal close and the two figures standing before him. "Eileen...", Cassian growled, stunned to see his sister there again with a strange young man.
Others began to erge behind him — the rest, the second uncle, Voldimbler Prince, Severus's grandfather's brother, Alaric Prince, the uncles' wives, and the house-elves.
Voldimbler was the uncle Severus had killed in the other tiline, in the Muggle town during Voldemort's attack.
"Who are you?", asked the last of them, pointing at Severus.
Severus did not answer.
His eyes shone even more intensely, and an invisible force threw the man and the others against the ground. In the next instant, all the others were pressed against the floor, except for the house-elves and Alaric.
The won scread in terror. The n looked around desperately, barely able to breathe under the crushing pressure.
"Who are you?", Alaric murmured, taking a step back as he saw his nephews being subdued by a force that clearly ca from that young man.
He had no ti to react. He was paralyzed. The next mont, Severus was already before him, touching his forehead.
The mories were transmitted quickly. Alaric blinked a few tis, then looked at Severus — and embraced him.
"You truly returned!", he said, rembering the last conversation they had in the village, beside the families.
Severus watched as his great-uncle approached Eileen and embraced her, apologizing while she stared at him, stunned.
"I promise, Eileen, that you will never have to suffer again. If your brothers' envy attempts anything else, I myself will take care of it," Alaric said to his niece.
After that, Severus simply abolished his uncles right there, removing them from the Prince na and turning them into squibs before the ancestral magic of the family.
Not even the wives escaped his fury.
"I will be back shortly," Severus said.
In the next instant, he teleported along with his uncles.
His next destination was the Ministry.
