"So, you’re telling I could see different futures where my kids are present?!"

Adam exclaid, his voice brimming with awe and curiosity.

Echidna nodded, her eyes glinting, as she confirms what she already knows.

"Indeed...Ti function within the monster world as different branches of possibilities that stretch into infinite outcos. You could peer into each tiline, one by one, to glimpse where the future might lead."

Adam’s face lit up with excitent, a wide grin spreading across his face, the cum still dripping from his dick unto the floor as he sat up, crossing his hands as he said.

"Can you teach how to do it?!"

Echidna gave a calm, affirmative nod.

"It’s quite simple. To answer your question, I’ll pose another: do you feel a connection to the life within her?"

Adam blinked, surprised.

"Weirdly enough, now that you ntion it... yeah, I can feel it."

"Good."

Echidna said, her tone steady and instructive.

"Now, focus on that connection. Close your eyes to sharpen your concentration. It should co naturally."

"Alright."

Adam replied, his voice steady with determination.

As be shut both his eyes and honed in on the faint pulse of life tied to his child. Strangely, he sensed two distinct connections.

One in Morgana’s belly...The other in the Monster World.

The mont he focused on the one in Morgana’s belly, a single glowing dot appeared, floating in the darkness behind his closed eyelids.

ntally reaching out, he touched it.

And in that instant, the dot shattered into countless fragnts, each one a glimpse of a possible future within the infinite branches of what could happen, and what could not happen, but possibility was certainty and uncertainty itself so all that is impossible in context is indeed possible.

At this mont Adam wasn’t picky.

He reached for a random fragnt, and the mont his mind brushed against it, a new vision flooded his senses.

He found himself walking through a grand hall, its walls scorched and wreathed in flas. Shattered windows littered the floor with jagged glass, and the entire structure seed on the verge of collapse.

But then, he stopped, not because the body he inhabited chose to, but because he was now in control.

Every sensation was vivid... the slow, heavy breathing, the gnawing worry, and clear anger within this vessel.

Yet the body wasn’t aware of his actions. It was as if he had slipped into soone else entirely.

"Motherfuckers, all of them!"

A voice growled, not his own, but the voice of the body he now possessed.

"I swear to our great father, I’ll kill those bastards who dared to do this to our ho!"

Looking down, Adam’s view was blocked by a pair of large breasts. His lower half felt strange, not legs, but sothing serpentine, slithering.

Glancing behind, he saw a black gorgon tail adorned with shimring blue scale patterns.

It was clear... the lower half of this body was that of a gorgon.

Taking control, Adam scanned his surroundings.

"Where is this?!"

The voice that rang out was feminine, not the body’s own, but his voice speaking through her.

The hallway was a ruin, its once-grand architecture reduced to ash and rubble.

But he had little ti to look, a she sense an attack coming from his right, and then a deafening explosion suddenly erupted, and a blinding flash of light consud his vision, followed by searing pain.

When he ca to, the female voice spoke again, this ti not under his control.

"Shit, they’ve already found ."

A shimring shield of pure monster energy enveloped the woman, clearly conjured at the last second to protect herself.

Still within her body, Adam looked up.

The sky was familiar, but the surroundings were not. The settlent’s layout, though ravaged, sparked recognition.

"Isn’t this Minerva Village? Why the hell is it destroyed like this?"

Screams of his people echoed in the distance.

"Where is Minerva?"

He muttered.

And as if in answer, a commanding voice rang out from the north.

"Die, you demonic scum!"

There she was, Minerva, in her devastating buster mode, facing a colossal horde of horned monsters, or rather demons, by the billions, invading the monster world.

At the center of the chaos, a demonic figure sat on a floating throne, larger than a mountain.

His black, jagged armor pulsed with lava-like energy seeping from its crevices. Though far away, the woman’s enhanced vision let Adam see his features clearly.

As if sensing the gaze, the demon’s eyes locked onto Adam, or rather, the body he inhabited.

"There you are."

His voice bood across the distance, unmistakably directed at her.

"The fear of my children...

The demon growled.

"How dare you kill my kins, and ruin centuries of planning, you treacherous worm."

Without another word, he raised a finger toward Adam. A beam of concentrated demonic energy flared at its tip, powerful enough to obliterate an countless star systems.

"Shit, he is going to destroy everything!"

The woman’s voice cried out.

She prepared to teleport, but before she could, the beam vanished, dissolved into nothingness as Minerva transford the attack into a re dream.

In a flash, Minerva appeared before the woman.

"Touch my daughter again, and I’ll kill you and your entire bloodline."

The demon sneered.

"Move aside, Fantasy. You’re outmatched. The Overruled Setting has already marked these lands. There is no escape... Especially for you after we localized your existence to your own territory."

Minerva’s eyes narrowed.

But he was right.

"Tsk... Lazilly!"

"Yes, Mother?"

The woman...Lazilly, replied.

"Find Rakasha at the palace. Tell her to join Blake in Purgatory to free Priscilla. The world as we know it has gone to shit. With Khircius sealed, the monster world can’t defend itself properly. Too many damned Setting Users have turned this place into a ss, and localized us."

"But Mother, what about you?"

Lazilly protested.

"I can take care of myself."

"No, you can’t! Just look at you, Mother!"

"SHUT UP AND OBEY!"

Minerva’s voice thundered, her power overwhelming Lazilly’s will. The girl’s eyes glowed red, her body no longer her own.

"As you wish, Mother."

Lazilly intoned, casting a spatial warp spell as a surge of Space Astrum burst forth with purpose. A shimring gate opened, leading from the battlefield to the palace.

She stepped through, but not before Minerva turned back, her gaze piercing as she spoke words that stunned Adam.

"Interesting... So a future like this exists. Worry not, boy. The only reason I am weak and unaware of this outco is because of greater powers at play here. Thank you, Adam. My present self now acknowledges this possibility. I’ll ensure this future never becos our present."

With that, Adam’s eyes snapped open, his heart pounding.

"Oh my god... the demons... they attacked us!"

Echidna’s gaze sharpened as she studied him.

"Care to elaborate? No, wait...I’ll see for myself by analyzing your mory."

Using her own mysterious thods, Echidna delved into Adam’s mind, witnessing the sa fragnted future he had seen. Her expression darkened, her voice dripping with irritation.

"Those bastards."

"Echidna, who the hell was that throne demon?"

Adam asked, his voice tinged with dread.

"That’s Arguloz, the Demon of War...a wrath-type demon and one of the ten Elders under the King of Wrath."

"Why would he even want to attack us?"

Adam pressed, worry creeping into his tone.

Echidna’s brow furrowed.

"I don’t know. I never thought a future like that could exist, and I can see countless possibilities as the function of fertility. And from what I’ve seen, this is a potential linear outco, one that could happen. It seems Setting Users have obscured our vision of it, which is why Minerva only realized it at the last mont."

Adam blinked, confused.

"You kind of lost . What do you an by that?"

Echidna sighed, her tone patient but firm.

"In the final mont of your vision, you heard Minerva, right? Monster Lords are all-encompassing beings in the monster world, embodints of its very essence. By their nature, they’re connected to the past, present, and future across countless linear and nonlinear tilines. In Minerva’s case, she is omnipresent in every dream a monster has, so she should always be aware of potential futures or changes to them to an extent."

"But dreams are often fabricated fantasies, so they’re not always reliable for predictions. Still, through them, she should sense what could happen among infinite possibilities within the monster world. That is how Monster Lords generally function as pillars of the world’s order. The Monster Lords of Ti and the Monster Lord Space both, for instance, have an even clearer view...Ti records the cause and effect of events, while Space is the canvas where those events unfold."

Echidna paused, her gaze intense.

"In that mont, Minerva’s connection to that tiline strengthened through you, passively linking her present self to that future via your vision. She is now aware of that tiline to an extent, thanks to her dream-based omnipresence. Paradoxically, only a very essential Great Spirit of the Field or a Setting User, who can manipulate the very fabric of reality within our field, can block a Monster Lord’s function. And from what I know, only one or two Great Spirits might surpass even Setting Users."
