Chapter 669: Luo Huian was kidnapped
A few hours ago.
“Is this the fish that you brought?” Luo Huian looked at the half-dead fish that were stacked in the wheelbarrow and frowned with a look of frustration on her face. She said to the supplier, “How can you bring such a stock? Did I not say that our restaurant only accepts fresh fish?”
The little supplier lowered her head. She tugged at her cap and said to Luo Huian, “Miss Luo, it’s not like I don’t want to provide you with a batch of fresh fish. The boss is the one who arranges everything, and I am just a little worker in her fishery. I only do what I am asked to do; they asked to deliver this wheelbarrow to your restaurant. If you want to complain, then you need to take this matter to my boss. There is nothing I can do about this situation.”
“Then what do you suggest we should do about this?” Luo Huian asked. Taking a look at the fish in the wheelbarrow, she took out a pen and paper and started calculating the entire loss they would suffer if there were no fish in the kitchen to cook the dishes. What was more, at present the dishes made from fish were what was going popular.
Pursing her lips, she turned the notepad around and showed it to the woman in front of her. “Look at this; I am going to lose more than fifty thousand yuan if I don’t get a new batch of new fish.”
“Miss Luo, how about this?” The little supplier tugged on her hat and then said to Luo Huian, “I will take you to the boss; you can talk to her about the lack of freshness of these fish? In the end, there is nothing that I can do, as I have no right to make the decision. Unless the boss agrees, I cannot do anything. The only way I can replace this stock is after the boss signs the docunt that allows a replacent to happen.”
Luo Huian didn’t want to follow the woman, but when she thought about the loss that she might have to suffer, she humd in acknowledgent and followed her out of the restaurant. After all, she had just submitted more than thirty million yuan to open the company under her and Fan ilin’s na, plus the additional fees of the lawyer, as the Liao corporation was not willing to let go of Fan ilin.
For soone who kept saying that their company was not running on Fan ilin alone, Madam Liao was wasting too many resources to keep Fan ilin in the company. All in all, she was not only wasting her own money, but she was also making Luo Huian make her waste her own money as well. It was truly a rather vicious cycle.
A cycle that she had gotten into and had no other option but to play along with the woman of the Liao family.
Because of these reasons, Luo Huian was now a pauper who needed money. A lot of money.
The two of them got into the truck that the woman had driven to the restaurant and then drove to the fishery that was situated at the docks.
“It seems like the business is getting better, Miss Luo,” the little supplier spoke with a smile on her lips. Her eyes flickered to the little fox that was sitting on Luo Huian’s shoulder, and she turned to look away in a matter of a few seconds.
“It’s neither good nor bad,” Luo Huian replied calmly. She raised her hand and rubbed the back of her neck, as she could feel a sort of tension riding up and down the length of her neck.
The little supplier chuckled softly and then brought back the topic of the dead fish. “I think you should look for another supplier, Miss Luo. I do not want to be dishonest here, Miss Luo. But the boss has gotten more and more out of control after taking the orders of your restaurant. She has not only beco more arrogant but also selfish. Maybe the trust that you have in her has made her complacent. You should consider changing your supplier to another one. Maybe that way the woman would learn her lesson.”
Luo Huian turned to look at the woman beside her. “Are you sure that you want to say such things to ? Will your boss not be unhappy with you if you tell these things to ?”
“I am thinking of resigning, Miss Luo,” replied the little woman. She tucked the lock of her black hair and turned the steering wheel to the left. “The fishery is dood to go bankrupt sooner or later, with how my boss is taking care of it.”
“Resigning? You have already found a job?”
“Hahaha, of course, I am not a fool who will resign from a present job without finding another backup? I have already searched for one.”
After an hour, the truck ca to a stop at the docks. The little supplier parked the truck in the parking lot and then jumped down from the driver’s seat. She said to Luo Huian, “The boss is in the cabin right near the warehouse. You can go and talk with her. If she agrees to change the stock, then co and see ; I will bring you a new stock right away.”
Luo Huian humd and walked in the direction of the cabin where the boss of the fishery usually stayed.
“Miss Dong!” Luo Huian knocked on the door while calling for the woman who was in charge of the fishery but when she didn’t hear a response, she frowned and knocked harder.
Sothing is weird… I can sll the scent of blood…
Xiao Hei hissed as he looked at the door of the cabin. His slitted eyes were staring at the cabin with a hint of trepidation as he stated, “There is sothing wrong. Soone is dead.”
Luo Huian frowned. She turned and asked Xiao Bai, “Can you see sothing?”
There is sothing that is blocking my vision. Every ti I am close to seeing the future, sothing intervenes. It’s an annoying presence, but I am certain that it is human-made. Xiao Bai relayed.
Luo Huian didn’t waste any ti and kicked open the door. What she saw turned her blood cold. The boss of the fishery was dead; she was shot right in the middle of the head and was then left to die. When Luo Huian saw the look of unwillingness in the eyes of the woman, she knew that the woman had been killed by soone she knew and never expected to be betrayed by.
“We need to get out of here—” realising that they had been caught in a kind of trap, Luo Huian was about to turn around and leave when soone closed the door of the cabin behind them. “What the—”
The scent of plum rice flower, along with sothing else—sothing that pricked her at the back of her neck, invaded her nostrils, and Luo Huian, who hadn’t expected a trap to be waiting for her in the fishery, staggered back and fell to the ground along with Yuan Yuan. However, just before she fainted, she saw the face of the little supplier who had brought her here. This damned woman—she would skin her alive if she got whatever was waiting for her.
You wait for .
Those were the last thoughts that Luo Huian had before she passed out due to the drug that was injected into this stupid, weak body.
***
Splash!
Luo Huian felt sothing cold and chilly hit her on the face, for a second, she thought that it was her father who was waking her up for the next lesson, but that was until she heard the whispering of people around her.
What should we do? She is not waking up. Is she really alright?
She is alive… she is alive…. I can see her chest rising and falling; she is at most knocked out. We can only wait until she wakes up.
How long? She has been unconscious for three straight hours. If this goes on, then they will find us!
Find us? Unconscious?
Luo Huian opened her eyes in surprise as she realised that this was her first ti getting kidnapped. She was actually kidnapped; who was the fool who did such a thing? She was actually curious to know.
Opening her eyes, she took a look at the faces of the n and the won in front of her and then closed her eyes right away.
The kidnappers: “…”
“Oi! There is no point in acting like you are unconscious; we just saw you opening your eyes. So you better wake up.”
Luo Huian sighed. With a snap she opened her eyes and looked at the kidnappers before saying quite seriously, “Its not that I was trying to pretend that I was asleep. Your faces are just so ugly that I cannot bear to look at them any longer than this.”
