"A-Are we really going to go in there?" Princess Peach stuttered, sounding disgusted. Alia looked uncomfortable as MadLad sighed.
Lily looked at Max, seemingly asking for his decision. He nodded with determination as he led the group through the narrow corridor. Everyone followed behind him while covering their nose to lessen the horrible sll around them.
"Woah, this is bad. The sll is unbearable." MadLad whined, his expression scrunched up. "Nah, why the fuck is this ga has such a realistic sll?"
"Language!" Alia chopped his helt, causing him to scream.
"Ouch! What the fuck- Ouch! Stop, stop it! I know that was my fault. I won't say anything bad anymore."
"Good." Alia nodded in satisfaction.
Max and Lily laughed at their exchange while Princess Peach rolled her eyes.
"This is why peasants are…" She muttered in a low voice, but it could still be heard by MadLad and made him stare at him.
Afraid, she scooted closer to Lily before sticking her tongue out.
They advanced quietly through the narrow corridor that could as well be called a sewer. The disgusting liquid scattered around was possibly from the strange thing coming out from the pipe or a part of a rat's corpse.
Max wasn't sure which was worse, but he was definitely leaning toward the second choice.
The sound of footsteps from sothing unknown was also audible, and his instinct told him to turn around imdiately. But, he cald his heart and kept walking forward with everyone else.
The two girls at the back were clinging to each other's arm while MadLad and Alia stuck close together as a more brave mbers in the group, including Max.
At so point, Alia spoke.
"Hey, can you hear footsteps behind us? Or is it just my imagination?"
MadLad widened his eyes before nodding rapidly. "Yes! Yes, I can hear that too. Am I imagining it? Or is it soone following us?" He asked as Alia turned to Max and Lily for an answer.
Max, who heard Alia's question, turned around as he shone his flashlight backward. When he did so, nothing appeared, but he felt goosebumps rise up his skin as sothing or soone was moving around the corner.
'Is it the footsteps from earlier? Or is it our imagination?' He wondered, looking at Lily beside him.
She didn't seem to have any reaction, indicating she didn't hear anything at all. Her focus was on walking forward, fearing that they would et another monster.
"What do you think?" He whispered to Lily, hoping she had an idea of what it was.
The girl stared at him with confusion before understanding what he ant. She focused for a few seconds before shaking her head.
"Let's run."
A preferable outco was not to et any kind of creature again. And running away was one of the way to keep themselves away from whatever footsteps everyone heard.
He turned to the front and found Alia and MadLad walking side by side with each other and Princess Peach was behind them. The VTuber seed terrified as she was frozen on her spot while trembling slightly.
They agreed with the plan and began to run. The sounds of their safety suit rustling were loud in this narrow corridor.
The footsteps also beca louder as if it ca closer to them. Max turned around and shone his flashlight at whoever was chasing them but didn't find anything. There wasn't any creature or anything chasing after them.
However, he knew it got closer.
"Faster! There is sothing invisible behind us!" Max shouted as everyone moved their legs faster.
Princess Peach heard his shout and glanced back.
"AH!"
Her shrill cry stopped everyone in their tracks. Before MadLad could ask what happened, Princess Peach spoke hysterically.
"I-I can see it! A little girl is chasing us! She wants to kill us! We need to run!"
The pink-haired strear tugged her sleeves and quickly ran past everyone. She scread loudly while leaving anyone.
Max looked back but didn't see the little girl she talked about. Still, that didn't stop him from running away. MadLad and Alia ran past him, followed by Lily. He planned to stay behind to be the bait for everyone.
Once again, he looked back. And this ti, he was able to see it.
'Is that it?'
A little girl with a long pair of legs was running toward them. Her face was covered with a mask that had a single eye on it and a wide grin. It chased them like a serial killer chasing its victim, waving a huge knife around in hand.
"Run! It's trying to kill us" Max shouted at everyone, making them run faster.
Even Princess Peach stopped crying hysterically as she scread in fear when she saw that little girl. But when she looked back, she couldn't see it anymore, making her calr.
From this, Max knew that only the person running at the back could see it. Since he was the last one of the group, he was the only one who could see the little girl. He was hoping not to see the creature chasing them, so he just focused on the front.
In this ga, their stamina was shown in a yellow bar. The speed it decreased depended from each person to person. Those who were scanned with a fit body would have extra stamina compared to others who weren't.
Max's stamina bar was decreasing at a normal pace. The sa applied for Lily and MadLad. Alia and Princess Peach, however, had lower stamina than them. Their speed decreased when they ran farther.
After a minute of running, Alia couldn't keep up anymore and began to fall behind. MadLad tried to help her, but she shook her head as she pushed him away.
"Go... It's my turn to sacrifice myself." She said before turning around and shouted at the invisible creature. "Co here!"
"We won't forget your sacrifice! You're the best!" Max shouted as he ran past Alia, allowing her to finally see the creature.
Just as she saw it, she scread loudly.
"MadLad! Take my position! I don't want to be a sacrifice! Nooo!" She ran as fast as she could while shouting hysterically, just like Princess Peach earlier.
"I'll take it back." Max chuckled after seeing her reaction. "MadLad! We choose you! Use sacrifice!"
"Damn it, I have no choice." MadLad stopped on his track and turned around. "You better buy lunch later!"
"I will!" Alia answered him before running past him.
The group left MadLad behind and continued to run. A loud scream could be heard from behind, but they believed it was just their imagination and kept running forward.
anwhile, Max could finally see the end of the tunnel with a small space where they could rest. The floor was pristine, and there were tal bars to keep them away from the little girl monster.
He entered first and held the door,
"Go fast!" He shouted at everyone before shutting the door.
He didn't close the door completely before the last person entered. Alia and Princess Peach breathed heavily as Lily tried to recover her breath after entering. He imdiately closed the door.
At that mont, the floor beca muddy as sothing on the other side pounded the door hard. He flinched in surprise but kept his focus on locking the door.
The room was small, so everyone had to stick to each other closely.
After a while...

"It's locked!" Max exclaid before stepping back.
The small room they were in started going up. The little girl he saw earlier was banging on the tal bar desperately while glaring at them with an eye and a huge grin on her mask.
Raising his middle finger, Max smirked at the creature.
"Try to get us."
And then, the elevator room turned dark and everything went black.
