Unlike the first ti they were here, the area first few ters from their spawn point was dark. No light, except the one coming from their flashlight, could be seen.
In the darkness, Flexy stepped forward first, holding a flashlight in his hand. His body was trembling slightly due to fear. However…
"You can do it, buddy!"
"Un. Good luck."
"I trust you, bro!"
"Hmph! Be a good bait, peasant."
"Hahaha… We’re counting on you."
The teammates who went through thick but not thin monts were cheering him from behind. They were laughing at his misfortune.
"Damn it." He cursed under his breath and walked toward the manhole.
Currently, he was a few ters away from the location that would trigger the lamp. Once he passed that place, he had to run around and then shine his flashlight to keep the creature away from the manhole.
It was a simple but dangerous job.
— You get what you deserves, Flexy
— Now we shall turn orange into red. You know? Blood red.
— I get you man, I can’t help but look forward to it.
His viewers had no trust in him surviving this ordeal. They wanted to see him turn into mince at after getting killed by the creature.
Gritting his teeth, Flexy declared loudly.
"I WILL SURVIVE!"
Max chuckled at that. His chat already wished for Flexy’s peaceful rest.
The orange-haired strear walked slowly. And when he passed the drawing…
Bam!
The light turned on at once. Bright flash montarily blinded everyone, making them squint their eyes lightly. Still, they couldn’t afford to look away as the monster was spawned already.
It stood before Flexy on two legs. Its elongated neck stretched out as it growled at Flexy who shouted.
"AAAHH!"
He imdiately shone his flashlight at its face and started running around. The monster seed to hate light brighter than the tunnel light. It began to chase Flexy who scread hysterically.
"Holy shit! IT IS RUNNING!!" He cried out as everyone facepald at his exclamation. "Guys! It’s chasing after ! Help!" He pleaded as everyone began to run toward the manhole.
Princess Peach was the first one who reached the manhole and opened it before jumping in with no hesitation.
Alia was the second one who entered the manhole and disappeared beneath the ground, followed by MadLad. The last one to jump was Lily.
Max didn’t go inside the manhole imdiately. He crossed his arms and wached Flexy ran away from the monster. Fortunately, when the creature was closing in, the light was turned off and it disappeared.
"Ack!" The guy stumbled before rolling on the ground.
When he realized that he survived, he quickly ran to the manhole while crying loudly.
"Breeze! Guys! Help!"
Max wanted to laugh at his friend, but he held back as he waved at him to hurry up. Flexy’s expression brightened upon seeing him.
"I know you wouldn’t leave , buddy!" The orange-haired boy laughed as he reached the manhole. "Now that we’re here, let’s enter it together."
Max grinned at his friend. The grin plastered on his face looking pretty evil that Flexy hesitated for a second, wondering if his best friend would stab him in the back.
Slowly, he raised his hand, holding a flashlight, and pointed it at Flexy. At that mont, they were still tens ters apart from each other, but the light was strong enough to be seen clearly.
Flexy’s eyes widened when he noticed sothing in Max’s hand was turned on.
"You motherlick-"
"Have fun, buddy." Max interrupted his scream and waved his hand.
Once again, the creature spawned. This ti, it was right behind Flexy and was ready to devour him. There was no ti to dodge as Flexy cried out hysterically while the monster bit his neck and tore him into pieces.
— THAT’S PURE EVIL
— LOLOLOLOLOLOL
— I can’t. I really miss this kekw
— Flexy be like: I am safe! And the next mont Breeze be like: Are you sure about it?
— kwkwkwkwkwkw
— Breeze, that’s so evil. How could you kill him? I am looking forward to his retaliation.
Max didn’t waste any ti and jumped into the manhole at that mont. When he landed, he found himself in a small room with stairs. The ladders connecting to the manhole above couldn’t be seen.
Everyone looked at him worriedly.
"How’s Flexy doing?" MadLad asked as Max shrugged.
"He died." He replied with a sad expression. "He sacrificed himself for us, sob."
"Ah, so you killed him." Princess Peach interrupted with her cold tone as Max winced. "Do you think I don’t know what you are trying to do? You put that peasant there on purpose."
"Well, it’s free content." He responded without hesitation. "Don’t you want to see Flexy die horribly? I bet all viewers want him or soone dead… In the ga, I an."
Princess Peach opened her mouth as if wanting to retort but didn’t say anything in the end. She also knew how entertaining it was to watch Flexy screaming like that. Even the comnt in her stream went fast when they saw Flexy got chased by the creature. Read new chapters at empire
They were strears. Content was their lifeblood. They lived and died depending on their content. No one would pass up the opportunity to produce new content and gain more viewership.
And watching Flexy getting eaten alive by a creature was truly great content, even more so than any horror ga he ever played.
— I just checked Flexy’s stream! He’s screaming behind you, Breeze
— lolol, their viewers really enjoyed it. They wanted revenge
— Hahahaha, how many votes of revenge do you think will co?
— My bet is 5K votes
— I bet it reached 10K votes to get revenge against Breeze.
"Are you guys seriously betting now?" He facepald as his chat ignored him and kept making bets.
Alia giggled beside him while Lily laughed lightly. MadLad also snickered as Princess Peach snorted.
"It’s good to get more views." The VTuber added. "But where do we go now?" She asked as everyone looked around.
"Forward, right? We’re not in the new area yet, as Flexy is still dead." Max said, looking at the only corridor there.
It was narrow with water dripping from the ceiling.
Old rusty pipes could be seen with so strange fluid spilled around the walls. A rotten sll was hanging in the air, making the place even more disgusting to be seen.
Max frowned at the sight of that corridor.
