Chapter 921: Chapter 806: Hope for Victory
Just as Sun Wukong and the others were still shocked by the beads on Sha Wujing’s neck, the Primordial Honor suddenly moved. He charged directly at Sun Wukong, his whole body surging with black light, appearing like a Demon God from Hell. Instantly, the Skeletal Primordial Honor was already in front of Sun Wukong, and without a word, he swung his skeletal right hand, aiming at Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong’s reaction was equally swift, as the faint golden text behind him suddenly lit up and instantly rged with his back, causing Sun Wukong to flash with golden light all over his body before imdiately returning to his original appearance.
At this point, the skeletal claw of Primordial Honor was about to grab Sun Wukong’s chest, but Sun Wukong imdiately raised the Jingu Bang horizontally to block this claw. However, the Skeletal Primordial Honor had an imnse strength, and Sun Wukong felt his arms sink, causing his footing to beco unstable as he imdiately retreated backward. Yet Sun Wukong didn’t retreat far; after taking a few steps on the ground, he had already offset the impact of this claw from Primordial Honor. Simultaneously, unbeknownst to Sun Wukong, Primordial Honor had already appeared behind him.
Just as Sun Wukong regained his balance, he thought of using the Jingu Bang for defense but was too late. Though Sun Wukong did not resign himself to fate, his body suddenly lunged forward, thereby avoiding the fist swung horizontally by Primordial Honor. Despite Primordial Honor being just a skeletal fra, his power remained strong, and Sun Wukong did not wish to take that blow directly. However, Primordial Honor was faster than Sun Wukong, leaping up while Sun Wukong’s body was still diving forward, with his right knee aiming at Sun Wukong’s lower back.
Under the Heaven and Earth Fire Eyes, Sun Wukong saw everything clearly, even from behind. He slapped the ground with his right hand, swiftly flipping over before landing, at the sa ti crouching down. This posture was not ideal for exerting force, so Sun Wukong’s right hand pressed against the ground suddenly exploded with a sharp surge, slicing the earth beneath him into pieces instantly. This created a large pit beneath him, providing space for Sun Wukong to swiftly unfold his body as he lifted both hands upwards, intending to receive the blow.
Using hands to actively receive an attack compared to body passively being attacked are two completely different concepts. Without hesitation, Primordial Honor’s knee descended, and Sun Wukong felt as though hundreds of mountains had pressed down on him, causing his body to plumt downwards to the pit’s bottom. He continued falling several hundred ters underground, the impact force only ceasing there. Though Sun Wukong was smashed underground, his hands still supported Primordial Honor’s knee; clearly, he had indeed caught that blow.
“Heh heh, now it’s my turn.” Before the words were finished, Sun Wukong’s whole body flashed with golden light, suddenly gathering a dense, tangible golden light upon his arms. When the golden light condensed to an extre, it exploded. All the lights transford into nurous small, sharp golden swords, palm-sized, and these nurous golden swords sward onto Primordial Honor’s body. Each sword penetrated through Primordial Honor’s pitch-black skeleton body before ascending into the sky. After each sword penetrated, a trace of black light was visible within, and tens of thousands of small swords pierced through Primordial Honor’s body. After the last sword dissipated mid-air, Primordial Honor’s previously pitch-black skeleton had turned a light grey.
Primordial Honor’s face was full of shock. Those black rays reflected his energy, now weakened by Sun Wukong by half in this way, directly reducing Primordial Honor’s power by half. Primordial Honor was quite astonished by Sun Wukong’s power of this sort. He hadn’t imagined the universe contained such power capable of weakening his own to this extent. He glanced up overhead; those golden small swords had vanished, and the black light within them was dispelled.
“I really didn’t expect you to have this kind of power, Sun Wukong. You truly surprised . If nothing unexpected happens, you will beco this Fang Universe’s Primordial Honor soday. However, now you’ve missed your chance.” After saying this, Primordial Honor grabbed Sun Wukong’s neck and lifted him up. The blow Sun Wukong had unleashed left him slightly weary. The Five Elents Power was indeed strong, yet it also consud him significantly.
Every ti he attacked or struck, he went all out, especially when using the powers from those five words behind him. This drained him even more. Primordial Honor naturally saw this, knowing that before Sun Wukong recovered, he would be very weak. Sun Wukong grinned and said, “Whether I’ll die or not, anyway you’re definitely dying today.” Sun Wukong now had this confidence. Previously, he had been intimidated by Primordial Honor’s overwhelming power, and Primordial Honor’s trump cards seed endless, appearing undefeatable. But now, Sun Wukong not only saw hope in defeating Primordial Honor, but that hope was very substantial.
This was mainly due to Sun Wukong underestimating his Five Elents Balance power. Had he known this Five Elents Balance power was so strong, he would have launched a full attack earlier. Primordial Honor laughed angrily, pulling Sun Wukong to eye level before releasing him, stepping back, then kicked Sun Wukong directly up the chin, sending him flying upward wildly while spewing a large mouthful of blood. Though Primordial Honor’s power was reduced by half, it remained formidable. The weakened Sun Wukong had no resistance.
Primordial Honor sprang up fiercely, following Sun Wukong upward. Before Sun Wukong reached the surface, Primordial Honor had caught up, unfolding his right hand, slapping Sun Wukong’s cheek bloody, almost dislodging his teeth. Yet Sun Wukong was laughing wildly. Primordial Honor roared angrily, punching Sun Wukong’s abdon, causing Sun Wukong to hunch in pain. Then Primordial Honor clasped both hands and smashed Sun Wukong back into that deep pit’s depths again. Primordial Honor clearly vented his anger without stopping until Sun Wukong was battered to death, unable to quell his fury.
Primordial Honor’s body swiftly descended, but upon reaching the deep pit’s bottom, Sun Wukong was nowhere to be found. As Primordial Honor looked around searching for Sun Wukong, the pit wall behind him suddenly shattered, and the Jingu Bang extended out swiftly, aiming precisely at the back of Primordial Honor’s skull.
Primordial Honor imdiately turned around, and grasped the Jingu Bang with his right hand, clutching it in front. At this mont, the ground beneath Primordial Honor’s feet cracked open, and Sun Wukong suddenly reappeared, with faint red light emanating from his body. Sun Wukong, likewise, punched upward at Primordial Honor’s chin, sending Primordial flying upward like before. Sun Wukong didn’t pursue but instead rubbed his chin which almost had its bones fractured and said, “I really mustn’t be careless, the Five Elents Balance power is truly strong, but its shortcomings are also obvious, this middle interval is really frustrating.”
Sun Wukong didn’t give chase because there’s a three to five breath interval of weakness after using the Five Elents Powers, a drawback which hadn’t previously manifested. But now, he’s not at peak condition; his body has set such limitations to avoid damage, a self-preserving behavior, one might say. (To be continued.
