Yet, I find myself without any peculiar sensations. Sun Wukong turned his head towards Sha Wujing and asked, "Old Sha, do you have this weird feeling?" Sha Wujing shook his head to indicate he felt nothing out of the ordinary. That's bizarre. Could it be the master possesses sothing special that allows him to sense things that even I cannot detect? Based on the current situation, it seems Master began experiencing the urge to use the Transcendence Bloom's powers after soone interfered with him.
This tampering, Sun Wukong deduced, must be the work of soone behind the scenes. But what's the purpose of doing this? Is it to identify those dicinal Human Seeds or to transcend all beings in Buddha's Pure Land? If it's the forr, what will happen after finding the dicinal Human Seeds? Is it just to enhance their cultivation? And if it's the latter, what will happen when the Master transcends all beings of Buddha's Pure Land? These questions can't be answered by re guessing.
"Master, why didn't your cultivation increase this ti?" Previously, when Tang Sanzang used the power of the Transcendence Bloom, it elevated the realm of several individuals, which in turn enhanced his own cultivation. But this ti, even though tens of thousands were transcended, Master's cultivation remained unaltered. Tang Sanzang said, "The Transcendence Bloom possesses a variety of capabilities. Previously, I used sublimation, which involves transcending an individual's impurities to elevate their realm, while the impurities shed by the transcended individuals were absorbed by , enhancing my cultivation. This ti, however, was a re purification, a thod of cleansing. Those who were cleansed no longer carry the kind of aura that makes Master really uncomfortable."
"Master, can you command these people?" Sun Wukong had just contemplated how to deal with Tathagata, but with tens of thousands of people gathering here, Tathagata would surely not co. "It is possible, but likely only simple commands can be given. What's the matter, Wukong?" Sun Wukong didn't explain. Although an unexpected situation had occurred, Sun Wukong had not abandoned his own plans. Tathagata would have certainly noticed the absence of people at the monastery but, based on Tathagata's nature, wouldn't abandon the pursuit. That is to say, Tathagata would certainly pursue based on the scent I left behind.
With the Master in a precarious condition, Sun Wukong could not afford any further mishaps. And a different plan ford in his mind. Since the hidden adversary made Master use the Transcendence Bloom, of which Sun Wukong did not understand the purpose, why not have the Master transcend everyone in Buddha's Pure Land, to root out all the dicinal Human Seeds yet to be captured by the Great Honored Buddism? By that ti, let's see what unfolds. Surely the person behind the scenes will make another move. At the sa ti, this would be a shortcut for Master's strength improvent. Initially, Sun Wukong deed this thod as one of an Evil Cult, but now he couldn't be concerned with such distinctions. Moreover, since Master had not hard their lives and instead aided in their realm elevation, it couldn't be considered an ill deed.
As for those who turned into walking corpses after being transcended, Sun Wukong felt at peace. An epiphany struck him — if his suspicions were true, then perhaps there were indeed issues with everyone in Buddha's Pure Land. However, Wukong still needed to visit Holy Ultimate Buddhism to confirm this suspicion. At that thought, Sun Wukong paused. Holy Ultimate Buddhism was close to the Buddha-worshipping Sect, which ant it was certainly affected by the power of the Transcendence Bloom, allowing them to calmly reach the Buddha-worshipping Sect. In other words, the people of Holy Ultimate Buddhism were among the tens of thousands below.
"Alas, it seems I must search for them one by one." Luckily for Sun Wukong, he had the Heaven and Earth Fire Eyes. Otherwise, it'd be nearly impossible to locate a specific one or two individuals among hundreds of thousands. Now that everyone else in the Buddha-worshipping Sect had been transcended, except for that little monk, staying here made little sense. So Sun Wukong asked Old Sha to stay with the Master, to let Master continue with his usual cultivation and sleep routine. He then used his Heaven and Earth Fire Eyes to find people from Holy Ultimate Buddhism among the tens of thousands outside. Having confird his suspicions, he had the Master command them all to cease resistance and gathered them into Jingu Bang's World Within the Artifact. Subsequently, Sun Wukong set up nurous Illusion Arrays around the Buddha-worshipping Sect and placed portals leading to the World Within the Artifact within the Illusion Arrays.
Thus, anyone drawn here later by the transcended force or by Tathagata's people would beco trapped in the Illusory Realm and then enter the World Within the Artifact. The remainder, as planned by Sun Wukong, would see Bajie and Little White Dragon take action, eliminating everyone except Tathagata. Then he would bring Tathagata out and kill him in front of the Master. The most crucial part of this plan was to make Tathagata appear before the Master in his normal state, as the image seated upon the Lotus Throne Treasure, to maximally stimulate the Master's mory.
At last, it cos down to whether the Master could recover his mory. Regardless of the outco, Sun Wukong would continue to let the Master harness the power of the Transcendence Bloom until everyone in Buddha's Pure Land was transcended. Only then would he take stock of the situation. If necessary, Sun Wukong planned to visit several other Interdiate Worlds to see if the sa events would unfold. Finally, he would decide when and where to ascend to the Ancient Primordial World based on the circumstances. In fact, if the Master regained his mory, there would be no need to go to the Ancient Primordial World at all.
The matter was tentatively decided. Dwelling on what had already happened and wondering why it had happened was utterly useless. Since soone had sched against the five disciples, Sun Wukong knew he had to take action. He instructed Sha Wujing to protect the Master well, and then he headed to the Lianyun Courtyard. After making so preparations, he opened his Heaven and Earth Fire Eyes to their maximum capacity. Among the countless people below, he searched for the Law Enforcent Hall Elder who had accepted a piece of Supre Rank Spirit Stone from him. He chose this individual because Sun Wukong was most familiar with him, and because the Spirit Stone was from the World Within the Artifact, which made it simpler to locate.
Soon, in about a quarter of a Chinese hour, Sun Wukong had found that Law Enforcent Hall Elder in the crowd. Like everyone else, the elder was kneeling on the ground, respectfully muttering sothing. Whatever he was chanting, Sun Wukong couldn't make it out and therefore paid it no heed. Instead, he directly entered the elder's sea of consciousness with his powerful Divine Sense and began reading his mories. This was a highly effective thod, but it was very harmful to the person whose mories were being accessed. However, Sun Wukong was no longer in the mood to care about that.
Within the Law Enforcent Hall Elder's mories, Sun Wukong found nothing of use, but he wasn't disappointed. He hadn't expected to learn much from this person in the first place. His sole purpose in reading the Law Enforcent Hall Elder's mories was to learn what the Sect Leader of Holy Ultimate Buddhism looked like. Casually casting the elder aside, Sun Wukong continued his search with the Heaven and Earth Fire Eyes. This ti, it took a bit longer, nearly half a Chinese hour, before he finally spotted the face of the Sect Leader of Holy Ultimate Buddhism as seen in the Law Enforcent Hall Elder's mories.
In a flash, Sun Wukong was by that person's side. Without hesitation, he pressed his hand on the top of the individual's head, invading with his Divine Sense to search through the Sect Leader's mories. This ti, Sun Wukong's main goal was to uncover the thods Holy Ultimate Buddhism possessed for locating dicinal Human Seeds. Only by confirming how Holy Ultimate Buddhism found these seeds could Sun Wukong determine if his hypothesis was correct.
After searching for an entire hour, Sun Wukong finally released his grip on the Sect Leader of Holy Ultimate Buddhism and let out a breath. "So it's like this, so it's like this, it turns out that not only Buddha's Pure Land has a problem, but almost all the Interdiate Worlds have issues as well. What does the person behind the scenes want to do? Could it be they want the Master to transcend all the troubled Interdiate Worlds?"
Sun Wukong's already chaotic mind beca even more muddled.
In the mories of the Sect Leader of Holy Ultimate Buddhism, Sun Wukong could confirm that his conjecture was mostly right. The odd behavior of the people in Buddha's Pure Land, the lack of heart as the Master had ntioned, was indeed due to the Illusionary Bug Domain, because of the Eternal Chains and the Indestructible Soul!
