Logically, such a significant matter should be known to the high-level worlds and Divine Kingdoms; however, indeed, it seems that the Illusionary Bug Domain is a matter only circulated within the interdiate worlds. Why is this so? Could there be restrictions on the strength of those who enter the Illusionary Bug Domain? Could people with Dao Patterns and above not be allowed to enter? Even so, it doesn't make sense that neither the high-level worlds nor the Divine Kingdoms would be completely unaware of it, right? This seems sowhat illogical. Would the high-level worlds and Divine Kingdoms really be ignorant of such an important matter? But when Sun Wukong thought about how the Punishers among the Law Enforcers were also the creators of these chains, he sowhat understood.
Perhaps it was the Law Enforcers who intervened, secretly informing only a portion of the interdiate worlds when the Illusionary Bug Domain opened. Otherwise, there really is no explanation that makes sense. Sun Wukong was well aware of the formidable strength of the high-level worlds and Divine Kingdoms. Sun Wukong didn't dwell on this matter. With Elder Gu here, he could simply ask him directly if there was anything; for things that had already happened or were happening, perhaps he couldn't understand. Yet, what has beco a fact, if you don't understand, it's just your knowledge that is limited, having a reason for occurring.
Sun Wukong continued to ask, "What about the dicinal Human Seeds? How did you discover these people? And how did you find them?" Sun Wukong was quite concerned about these dicinal Human Seeds, who possessed abilities similar to the special combined techniques unique to the Underworld God Army. To say they had no relation to the Underworld God Army didn't make sense, but it seed like re speculation to assert there was a connection. Hearing Sun Wukong ask about this, Elder Gu responded with so surprise, "Don't you know? Aren't you a mber of the Holy Ultimate Buddhism?"
Sun Wukong expressed his confusion, "Does a mber of Holy Ultimate Buddhism necessarily know? I only joined Holy Ultimate Buddhism a few days ago, so I am not aware." Elder Gu nodded and then said, "I'm not sure about this, but only Holy Ultimate Buddhism and one other sect know how to find these dicinal Human Seeds. Within the Great Honored Buddhism, if anyone else might know about this, it's probably only the Sect Hierarch. Otherwise, we wouldn't have tasked those two sects with the responsibility of finding the dicinal Human Seeds. And it's rather peculiar; originally, we planned to capture people from Holy Ultimate Buddhism and the other sect, to force the knowledge of how to find the dicinal Human Seeds from them, yet the Sect Hierarch stopped us."
Sun Wukong was surprised once again; this was indeed strange. If the dicinal Human Seeds were so crucial to Great Honored Buddhism, why didn't the Sect Hierarch obtain the thod of finding them and dispatch his own people to look for them? The power of a First Rank sect was much larger than that of a Fourth Rank sect. Besides, Holy Ultimate Buddhism wasn't that strong of a force. At the sa ti, Sun Wukong was astonished by Elder Gu's behavior. Initially, Sun Wukong thought that after being stimulated by the tangible murderous intent just now, Elder Gu would surely have lost half his life, but unexpectedly, Elder Gu quickly recovered. Although his eyes were filled with fear towards Sun Wukong, his attitude didn't seem to have changed much from before. Elder Gu truly was a character; knowing that begging or lying would be useless, the only way to survive was to behave well enough to satisfy Sun Wukong.
Knowing that Elder Gu wasn't deceiving him, Sun Wukong secretly thought that he needed to ask the Hierarch about this matter. He then inquired, "It's ti to discuss the situation of Great Honored Buddhism." Elder Gu naturally knew what Sun Wukong was referring to, and after a pause, he said, "Great Honored Buddhism has a total of three hundred Eternal Chains, with the longest being twelve ters, worn by the Sect Hierarch. There are two hundred people within the sect fused with the Eternal Chains, with a hundred chains currently unclaid. Chains that are three ters or less can increase recovery abilities by fifty percent for those below the Dao Transformation. Five-ter-long chains can do the sa for those below the peak of Dao Transformation. Eight-ter-long chains increase recovery by eighty percent, and ten-ter chains by a hundred percent. The Sect Hierarch's twelve-ter chain offers a hundred and twenty percent recovery abilities!"
"A hundred and twenty percent? How is that possible? At a hundred percent, shouldn't it allow for instant recovery? What is the recovery ti for these Eternal Chains, and are there any limitations?" Elder Gu responded expressionlessly, "A hundred and twenty percent recovery abilities an the Sect Hierarch simply cannot be injured, and any attack that could injure him instead provides him with spiritual power and strength. The Sect Hierarch is truly blessed with an Immortal Body. As for the recovery ti, it varies from person to person. Normally, it's about fifteen minutes, but I haven't fused with the Eternal Chains, so I can't be certain. There are limitations, however; no matter the length of the chain, they can only provide three opportunities to recover per day, and after those three tis, they have no effect!"
Sun Wukong nodded and asked, "In this Buddha's Pure Land, aside from your Great Honored Buddhism, what other First Rank sects exist? Do the other First Rank sects also possess such Eternal Chains?" Elder Gu shook his head and said, "Apart from Great Honored Buddhism, there are only two other First Rank sects, but only our Great Honored Buddhism has the Eternal Chains and the thod to make them. And our Great Honored Buddhism is indeed the strongest sect in Buddha's Pure Land. In fact, each interdiate world which is qualified to enter the Illusionary Bug Domain has only one strongest sect that can possess the Eternal Chains and their production thod!"
After so thought, Sun Wukong felt that he had asked almost everything he needed to know. dicinal Human Seeds, Eternal Chains. These were all the Ancient Elder seed able to divulge of what he sought to understand, and the rest required him to witness them firsthand. Besides, to learn more about the dicinal Human Seeds, he would still need to ask the enemy himself. As for the Illusionary Bug Domain, Sun Wukong wasn't so interested. What he wanted to know were not the details of these affairs but the ultimate outcos, the people behind them, and their motives. The best way to find out was to capture the ringleader first. Since Great Honored Buddhism was the largest sect within Buddha's Pure Land, its Sect Hierarch should be the most powerful person there. Therefore, by finding this Hierarch, Sun Wukong should be able to learn more.
"What is the na of the Sect Hierarch of Great Honored Buddhism? Tell everything you know about this Hierarch!" The Ancient Elder had just said that the cultivation level of the Hierarch of Great Honored Buddhism was the sa as his own. Sun Wukong had intentionally raised his cultivation temporarily to the realm of One Pattern Dao Patterns only monts ago to have a deterrent effect. Did that an that the Hierarch also possessed the cultivation of One Pattern Dao Patterns? But how could a cultivation of One Pattern Dao Patterns exist in this Interdiate World? The Heavenly Dao here didn't seem to have been affected at all.
The Ancient Elder breathed a sigh of relief. Since this person had started asking about the Hierarch, it seed that he was of no further use to him. However, upon this thought, the Elder's heart tightened again. If he was no longer useful, there could only be two outcos for him: one was being released, and the other, being silenced for good. After all, he now knew the identity of Sun Wukong. Though anxious about the fate that awaited him, the Elder still answered, "We call him Tathagata, nad Duo Bao Tathagata. With One Pattern Dao Patterns cultivation, he possesses many powerful Magic Treasures, and fused with the twelve-ter-long Eternal Chain, the Hierarch has been invincible ever since he erged, single-handedly challenging an entire First Rank sect and subduing it with his formidable strength!"
No sooner had the Elder finished speaking did Sun Wukong freeze. If he hadn't misheard and the Elder hadn't misspoken, then the Hierarch of Great Honored Buddhism was Tathagata? Duo Bao Tathagata? Could it really be the sa Tathagata from the Pangu Realm? But, but hadn't he killed Tathagata himself? He had personally put an end to him. Impossible, Tathagata was dead; how could he appear here? It must be a coincidence; maybe the Hierarch of Great Honored Buddhism just happened to have the sa na.
Although he tried to reassure himself, doubts still shook Sun Wukong's heart. Without speaking, Sun Wukong began to painstakingly recall past events in the Pangu Realm, when the end of the massive war against Heaven lood, and Buddhist Soldiers launched a surprise attack on the Demon Clan and Taoism, nearly annihilating both of their forces. In the end, he barely escaped with his master and Bajie. Later, when Tathagata discovered his hiding place, his own cultivation had surged, and he managed to kill Tathagata amidst the Buddhist army. He was sure he had indeed finished Tathagata.
As he contemplated, a thought suddenly struck Sun Wukong—sothing was not right. He had overlooked sothing. At that ti, Tathagata's cultivation level was at the peak of the Saint Realm. If he had truly died, it would have certainly caused a disturbance in the Heavenly Dao of the Pangu Realm. When his master died, also a Saint, the heavens mourned, shedding endless showers of flowers. However, there were no such anomalies when Tathagata died. Could it be that Tathagata hadn't died after all?
"I'm asking you again, what is the na of the Sect Hierarch of Great Honored Buddhism?"
Perhaps Sun Wukong's expression was too frightening, for the Ancient Elder was at a loss for a mont. This infuriated Sun Wukong, and just then, a voice suddenly rang out from behind him, "Monkey, I didn't expect you to make it here. How co you're visiting my Great Honored Buddhism and didn't even inform your host?"
