Eudoxia, before losing her mory, turned out to be the divine envoy leading the Vadallat Clan!

As Charlotte observed the respectful and reverent bloodbornes before her, it was impossible for her not to feel astonished.

However, beyond the astonishnt, questions arose.

“Divine envoy” is a ssenger of the Gods.

If Eudoxia had been the divine envoy of the Vadallat Clan before her mory loss, then… who is the myth behind the Vadallat Clan?

A fleeting thought crossed her mind, and the figure she had seen while traversing the rift in ti flashed in Charlotte’s mory.

A bold hypothesis began to form in her heart.

In the original history, Eudoxia had already been the magical pet of the True Ancestor.

Although Charlotte had “created” this history, it didn’t erase the fact that, in the original tiline, she was not the True Ancestor.

This naturally led Charlotte to a new idea.

Could it be that the myth the Vadallat Clan follows is still the original True Ancestor of Blood, Lilith?

However, there were inconsistencies in this hypothesis.

If Lilith truly was the myth behind the Vadallat Clan, then in her previous interactions with the bloodbornes and from her research in various texts, there should have been records or ntions of Lilith. Instead, all traces of her seed to have been erased.

Of course, another possibility was that the Vadallat Clan itself might be Lilith’s final “anchor point.”

These thoughts flashed through Charlotte’s mind in an instant.

Hypotheses remained hypotheses. To uncover the secrets of the Vadallat and Szellem Clans, a deeper investigation was necessary.

Charlotte had a hunch.

Perhaps within these two clans, she could learn more about the bloodbornes and the enigmatic Lilith herself.

As her thoughts settled, Charlotte’s gaze swept over the hundreds of bloodbornes before her.

Through her perception, she noticed the bloodbornes were arranged hierarchically from highest to lowest rank. Even the weakest among them was at the rank of a viscount, making up about two-thirds of those present. The strongest were Legendary Bloodbornes, nine of whom stood at the very front.

This was a formidable extraordinary force.

If deployed properly, and ard with divine artifacts against myths, it might even be capable of challenging them.

With divine backing, such power could dominate an entire region.

This force alone could rival the Holy Court, where the Gods “slumbered,” to a certain extent!

“Rise.”

Charlotte said calmly, her gaze steady on the bloodbornes, who grew visibly more tense under her scrutiny.

At her command, the bloodbornes stood upright.

Yet Charlotte could still sense their unease from their stiff movents, hurried breaths, and pounding heartbeats.

Her gaze fell upon the young man and woman at the forefront.

The bloodbornes clearly regarded these two as leaders.

The man was a Legendary, but the woman was only a Blazing Sun-level bloodborne.

However, Charlotte understood why a Blood Count could stand at the very front.

Ancia White Vadallat.

She was the Saintess of the Vadallat Clan, known as the Pure White Witch.

Ah, the very one who had once pursued Sebastian halfway across the continent.

At this thought, Charlotte glanced at the woman, whose eyes occasionally darted past her, as if searching for soone.

“Stop looking. Sebastian has returned and is not here.”

Charlotte said.

The Pure White Witch, Ancia, stiffened slightly. A hint of awkwardness flashed across her face before she quickly lowered her head respectfully.

“And your liege? Why are they not here?”

Charlotte asked, this ti addressing not just Ancia but all the high-ranking mbers of both clans. It was also a subtle probe.

The bloodbornes from the Vadallat and Szellem Clans exchanged glances, seemingly puzzled.

Finally, one of the Szellem bloodbornes, a young man at the forefront, hesitantly replied.

“Are you referring to the Grand Duke? The Grand Duke was severely injured in the war against the Holy Court four hundred years ago and has yet to recover. Hence, they could not attend this eting.”

The war from four hundred years ago?

Charlotte’s thoughts raced as she recalled the records she had read in the Church’s texts and Albrecht’s mories.

Four centuries ago, the Holy Court had launched its largest and most brutal “Holy War” in millennia against the Coria Kingdom, aiming to eradicate the Blood Court that ruled the kingdom.

That war marked the last recorded instance of a myth directly participating in a mortal conflict. Mithra, the God of Contracts of the Holy Court, had personally intervened. To this day, remnants of that divine battle were said to linger in the western mountains of Coria.

Ultimately, the Holy Court failed to conquer Coria.

Afterward, the Holy Court signed a non-aggression pact with Coria, acknowledging their inability to subjugate the kingdom entirely.

Interestingly, records from all sides avoided detailing the outco of the divine battle.

Albrecht had speculated that the princes behind the two clans had intervened, but even he didn’t know their exact identities. He believed this omission was a deliberate act to obscure their existence.

Now, hearing this bloodborne youth, nad Derado, refer to their prince as “the Grand Duke,” Charlotte was certain that this Grand Duke was the myth who had clashed with the God of Contracts during the holy war.

However…

“The Grand Duke”?

Charlotte noticed the peculiar title used for the prince.

Myths were typically addressed as “Your Eminence,” and “Grand Duke” was indeed a mythic rank.

Still, the combination of “Grand Duke” and “Your Eminence” felt unusual.

It was as if the figure was both a myth yet sohow not.

“You are Szellem Derado? The Grand Elder of the Szellem Clan?”

Charlotte asked.

The bloodborne youth bowed respectfully.

“Yes, True Ancestor, I am the third Grand Elder of the clan. My predecessor perished in the war.”

Charlotte nodded slightly, intrigued.

Unlike other countries on the continent, the Coria Kingdom followed a naming convention similar to her forr world, with surnas preceding given nas. The Szellem Clan adhered to this custom.

Her gaze then shifted to the manor nearby, where she sensed a peculiar magical fluctuation.

The magic emanating from the manor hinted at spatial manipulation, extending infinitely outward.

“A long-range teleportation array?”

Charlotte raised an eyebrow and looked at Eudoxia.

Eudoxia nodded respectfully.

“Indeed. The array leads to the capital of the Coria Kingdom, Shadowfort. It was specially constructed by the two clans to welco you.”

“Is the Szellem Grand Duke also in Shadowfort?”

“Yes, they are there.”

Eudoxia confird.

Charlotte nodded again.

“Lead the way.”

At her command, the bloodbornes cleared a path, and Derado and Ancia led her into the manor.

Inside the villa, in a grand three-story hall, stood a massive teleportation array about ten ters tall, surrounded by intricate concealnt spells to mask its magical energy.

Charlotte’s eyes lingered on the exquisite magical crystals embedded in the array. She couldn’t help but remark.

“Teleporting this many people must’ve cost a fortune.”

Ancia and Derado exchanged a glance before coughing lightly.

“True Ancestor, these bloodbornes are only the forces stationed in the Empire. The rest of the clans await on the other side of the teleportation array in the kingdom.”

Derado explained.

“I see.”

Charlotte said, surprised at the sheer scale of their forces.

Her curiosity about the Coria Kingdom deepened.

“Very well. Let us depart.”

She said.

Under the guidance of two lower-ranked bloodbornes, Charlotte stepped into the teleportation array.

The familiar sensation of weightlessness engulfed her as the world turned pure white.

When the magic stabilized and the surroundings beca clear again, Charlotte found herself standing on a black platform.

Before her lay a vast plaza paved with black stone, exuding grandeur and solemnity.

On the plaza stood a massive assembly of bloodbornes, dressed uniformly in black, with thorny rose emblems on their chests. Their numbers easily exceeded ten thousand. Among them, twenty-five powerful Legendary dukes stood out.

As Charlotte appeared, all the bloodbornes knelt in unison, their voices resonating like thunder.

“Greetings, True Ancestor!”

No.

This wasn’t just a greeting.

This was an army awaiting her command.
