Throughout the history of the bloodbornes, there have existed six great clans:

The Royal Clan: Kirali

The Dark Clan: Shedite

The Insight Clan: Nez

The Flesh and Blood Clan: Harcos

The Wild Clan: Vadallat

The ntal Clan: Szellem

Among them, the Royal Clan, Kirali, has vanished, while the “Fallen” Clan, Shedite, is shunned for consorting with demons. The other four clans, however, are each governed by their respective bloodborne Archdukes.

No—more precisely, except for the Shedite Clan, the other great clans, including the Royal Clan, were all originally established by the bloodborne Demigods who followed the True Ancestor of Blood throughout history.

At least, this is what Charlotte rembers.

Two thousand years have passed, and ti has buried much of history. The legendary myths of the bloodbornes have either disappeared or t their demise.

Even within Charlotte’s ntal world, the Crimson Star Sea that symbolizes the bloodbornes now holds only two remaining “suns,” representations of myths. These correspond to the two clans Charlotte plans to visit: Vadallat, the Wild Clan, and Szellem, the ntal Clan.

Charlotte’s conjecture arises from past experiences. When she first transmigrated, four “suns” glimred in the Crimson Star Sea. Over ti, two faded with the return of the Nez and Harcos clans. By process of elimination, the remaining “suns” likely belong to the Archdukes of Vadallat and Szellem.

This intuition has grown stronger since Charlotte ascended to a True God. As she neared the regions dominated by these two clans, the sensation beca almost undeniable. Yet, despite her divine elevation, she could neither precisely locate nor manifest directly upon them as she could with other bloodbornes.

Furthermore, the bloodbornes under Vadallat and Szellem’s rule seed protected by a mysterious force. Even within the Western Yunette Empire, Charlotte found she could identify their locations but could not summon them into her ntal world as she had done with Sebastian.

“This must be the power of a Domain.”

Charlotte concluded.

“Only Demigods can obscure the gaze of a True God.”

Unlike the Nez and Harcos clans, abandoned by their deities, the Vadallat and Szellem clans still enjoy divine protection.

Curiously, Charlotte knows very little about the bloodborne Demigods behind these two clans. Ancient texts and the accounts of even the oldest bloodbornes, such as Albrecht and Bardock, contain no ntion of their true identities.

It feels as if an unseen force has deliberately erased their existence from history.

Yet, their presence is undeniable. To hold sway over a kingdom and challenge the Holy Court’s supremacy is proof enough of their power.

“Guardian Scepter, do you know the nas of the Archdukes governing Vadallat and Szellem?”

On a hill outside the Western Yunette Empire’s capital, New Western Yunette City, Charlotte—disguised as a noblewoman—gazed at the city below as she posed the question.

“The Vadallat and Szellem clans are shrouded in mystery.”

The elderly steward-like Guardian Scepter replied.

“Even within the Holy Court, little is known about the Demigods they follow.”

“Not even a na?”

Charlotte pressed.

The Guardian Scepter hesitated, then shook his head.

“None. The Vadallat clan refers to their Archduke simply as the Honorable Envoy. As for the Szellem clan, they are even more secretive.”

“Honorable Envoy?”

Charlotte raised an eyebrow.

This title—commonly used for divine ssengers—seed oddly misplaced for beings already considered deities. The implications were unsettling: either these Archdukes were not true Gods, or they served a higher, more powerful entity…

“Have their loyalties shifted?”

Charlotte murmured.

Lost in thought, she was interrupted by the sound of a dragon’s roar.

A massive black dragon descended from the skies, its form shrinking as it landed and transford into a black-haired, red-eyed girl. She bowed respectfully.

“Your Majesty, the True Ancestor!”

It was Eudoxia, the black dragon Charlotte had sent ahead to investigate. Months of absence had left Eudoxia visibly transford—her power radiating near-divine intensity.

“Eudoxia.”

Charlotte greeted.

“Have your mories returned?”

The dragon nodded solemnly.

“Your blessings guided , and I have brought the leaders of both clans. They await your audience.”

The revelation left Charlotte stunned but composed.

“Oh? Are they in the city?”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Eudoxia confird.

“Lead the way.”

Under Eudoxia’s guidance, Charlotte entered New Western Yunette City. At the gates of a grand estate, a crowd of black-robed “nobles” gathered—bloodbornes, their reverent gazes fixed on Eudoxia.

“Honorable Envoy…”

They intoned.

Eudoxia, seemingly accustod to the title, nodded and opened the carriage door for Charlotte.

“Your Majesty, we have arrived.”

Charlotte stepped out gracefully, her gaze sweeping across the sea of bloodbornes.

Two figures approached: a strikingly beautiful bloodborne maiden and a regal bloodborne youth. They knelt in unison.

“Ancia White Vadallat, Szellem Delrado, representing the Vadallat and Szellem Clans, pay homage to the Great True Ancestor!”
